With that I got up and left the restaurant and Nelson followed quickly.

The drive to the office was quiet and I was thankful for that because I had more time to think.

I couldn’t stop thinking about that girl and the way she insulted me.

I entered into my office and Linda followed immediately .

Sir, you have an important meeting by 2pm today and another one by 4pm.

all the staff to be present after the meeting.

While I was busy attending to the customers,I made use of every opportunity I got to look at him,I couldn’t stop staring at him..

Suddenly I heard a loud sound and looked at the direction and saw he was the one who hit his hand on the table.

I looked at is face and it was filled with so much anger and hatred,then they both stood up and left.

Before they could exit the door,I took my time to study the other guy with him,he didn’t even say a word during the period I was exchanging words with his friends, finally they entered the car and drove off..

I continued attending to the customers when my phone rang I removed it from my pocket and saw it was my mum calling.

Hello mum:

Alisha,are you still at work?

Yes mum,what is it mum?

I could sense the fear in her..

Alisha,it Alex he fainted in school and he was brought back home…his body temperature is really high,the worst part is that he won’t say anything…

I was really scared ,but I needed to make her calm down.

Mum,it alright,it just a minor issue,it could even be malaria

I went to the nearest pharmacy bought some drugs and headed home quickly.

I arrived home and was shocked to see Alex restless I went to him and hugged him.

He couldn’t even reply me,just then mum entered her eyes were red and her face swollen,she had really cried her eyes out..

Yes mum,I had to come home early to see things for myself,we just have to be strong and pray for him to get better..

I looked back at him and see him looking at me trying to force a smile,I smiled back and gave him the drugs which he drank with the glass of water on the table, before we knew it he slept off.

I stood up went into the kitchen and started preparing dinner just to keep myself busy and pass away time.

DOMINIC (POV).

Sir it time for the meeting.i nodded stood up and went into the board room and see my clients already seated..

We proceeded with the meeting and all I did was to nod my head in agreement as I couldn’t concentrate properly.

The meeting came to an end with me rejecting there company offer..

My very own company can’t accept your stupid offer,it either we take 70% of the profit or there will be no contract..

I left the meeting room not waiting for their reply and my secretary followed suit.

Cancel my other meeting for today or better still tell the manger to handle it

I need to get home.

I walked into my office took my briefcase and was about to leave when I felt a sharp pain on my head.

I quickly sat down on the chair and relaxed a little.

This pain is really getting too much..

I relaxed a little and when the pain relieved me,I took my briefcase and left the office…

I entered into the car and the driver drove off,on our way I changed my mind about going home and Dialed Nelson’s number.

He picked up at the first ring

Missing me already?

I ignored him, can we go to the club? I asked.

Like seriously you really want to go clubbing Dominic

Alright Dominic, I will see you at the club house let me quickly tidy somethings.

Alright then see you at the club and he hanged up..

Turn the car around and take me to the usual club house,I told the driver.

Immediately he turned around and headed for the club house..

I got there and the place was crowded with different girls trying to get the attention of men.

I went to the bar and sat down there waiting for Nelson.

I looked at all the girls and all of them were total turn off ..I ordered for a drink and just then I felt a tap on my shoulders and I looked back to see it was Nelson..

Like seriously we both know I don’t joke when it comes to clubbing he replied..

Nodding my head I passed him my drink and ordered for another one..

Dominic, am actually trying to get one thing clear here,why the sudden idea of coming to the club house,we both know I usually force you to come here..

Not now Nelson can you just let me be,I decided to come to the club house because I felt like coming to get my mind off that bitch .
