I tried remembering were exactly I have heard the name but I couldn’t,the more I try to remember,the more it becomes more difficult.

I decided to let go and concentrate on the situation on ground..

I looked at mike and gave him more instructions.

I want you to continue following her, know who her friend is, especially I want you to find out if she has a boyfriend…

And any mistake from you ,am definitely going to get you killed.

With that I dismissed him and he Left the office..

Looking at all the documents on my desk before me,I started going through them, suddenly I left sharp pain as usual I took my drugs, thinking it will definitely relieve me but it became more most..

I closed all the documents and decided to rest a little..

NELSON P.O.V

I did my personal investigation on the Alisha of a girl and I was able to get all the details I need to know about her..

I decided to pay her a visit in her school and talk to her.

The drive to her school was short,I decided to wait in the school gate .

I waited for almost an hour,then I saw her coming out of the school gate with a lady beside her,that must definitely be her friend,I thought..

Taking my time,I observed the girl with her and I felt strange,this as never happened to me before..

Ignoring the feeling,I decided to concentrate on the main reason why I came in the first place..

I got down from my car ,and walked up to them..

Hello girls

I’m Nelson and you’re.

They both stare at me,not saying a word,I decided to say something when the lady I came to see actually spoke..

I’m Alisha and this Christina my friend, your face looks very familiar,but I can’t remember where exactly have seen you…

She said

I smiled and nodded

You’re actually right ,we have met before but not in a good way,I was in the restaurant the other day with my friend and you both were actually exchanging words.

Before I knew it, she started laughing.

Now I know were, exactly have seen you,how can someone like you be a friend to that cold and heartless guy,you both are totally different.

Looking at her I was shocked.

You know,he is not as heartless as you think,he was just not in a good mood that day,he is actually the best friend one can never have.

I looked at were the comments came from and saw it was the other lady that spoke.

So finally she decided to speak..

I smiled,and what type of bird do you think I am?

I asked looking at her and smiling.

The same type of bird that is heartless as your friend.

And by the way what do you really want here ,or as your friend send you to her….she said

I really do like the courage of this girl,

Anyway , nobody sent me here,I came here on my own will.

We moved closer to the car and stood there

You see Alisha,I apologise on my friend behalf and for his behaviour, he isn’t that way.

I just want you to over look everything he has done wrong to you and accept him.

I couldn’t believe my ears he is actually asking me to accept his friend.

Who those that?

Why all this nonsense?

I looked at him not knowing what to say,I was so speechless….

But he just kept looking at me waiting for my response..

I made up my mind not to allow myself to be bought over..

I’m sorry to disappoint you Nelson,but I can’t marry your friend for anything in this world..

If you will excuse me I will like to be on my way now..

I was about going when he stopped me

He only nodded and I walked away..

I went to Tina and we continue walking

And what is that all about?

Nothing much,he just came to plead with me to accept is friend but I refused.

This guys are just so funny,who exactly do they think they are….she said

I was surprised ,I stopped walking and looked at Tina, something wasn’t right with the way she talked about Nelson..

MIKE P.O.V

I just couldn’t believe my eyes,what is my boss friend doing here with the same girl he asked me to monitor.

What am I going to tell my boss exactly.

Could he be her boyfriend and my boss doesn’t know.

I decided to take my time and observe them from afar,I took out my phone and took a picture of them together so I can use it as prove For my boss..

Before I knew it, the lady and her friend walked away,I just couldn’t understand what happened or what is really going on..

I decided to head back to the office and report to my boss..

I just pray he doesn’t do something stupid..

I entered the car and drove away…

DOMINIC.P.O.V

The pain kept on increasing,I took another pill of pain relief but all to no avail..

I started feeling weak, and restless ,I knew my strength was beginning to fail me,but I never expected it to be this quick..

picking up the office phone , wanting to call my secretary when I decided It wasn’t a good idea.

I don’t need anybody to start pitying me or them having an idea of what is wrong with me.

No one else knows apart from nelson..

And that is how I want it to be..

I decided to wait a little for Mike to report himself back to the office…

But the more I wait for him,the more it looks like he is never going to come back to the office.

NELSON P.O.V

I couldn’t believe she also refused to listen to my pleading,how can a lady be this cold and stubborn..

Even after I pleaded and apologize for Dominic behaviour,she still refused.

I decided to get her friend number from her,but she Also refused giving it to me.

Was she actually giving birth to,to refuse people or doing things for people..

Angrily,I entered into my car and drove away , heading towards Dominic office,I really need to tell him the outcome of this my meeting with Alisha..

ALISHA P.O.V

We kept on walking and talking,you know Tina I’m really happy you decided to follow me home today.

You don’t know how happy i am

You can’t be serious Alisha, what are friends for.

I was about replying her, when my phone rang ,I took it out of my bag and saw it was my mum calling..

Quickly I picked it before it ended..

Hello mum!!

Alisha,were are you

I was shocked I could hear fear in her voice.

What is it mum ,I’m almost home..

I replied walking quickly.

Alisha,it Alex he as fainted again and this time

He is not even breathing.he is lifeless.

I became scared,mum just calm down, I will be home shortly we need to take him to the hospital.

With that I needed the call.

And stopped a cab that we take us home

Tina kept Asking me what the problem was,but I kept ignoring her and she decided to let me be..

We got home,and I quickly came down from the cab and ran into the house.

To my greatest shock I saw Alex on the floor lifeless and mum was crying bitterly..

I threw my bag on the floor, carried Alex and ran out of the house with mum following me .

We entered into the car and I told the driver to head to the nearest hospital….

DOMINIC P.O.V

The pain was becoming worst ,that I couldn’t bear it

Anymore.

I heard the office door opening then I looked up and saw it was Mike who entered..

I was relieved ,but yet still wanted to know the outcome of his investigation first..

So,any update?

Yes boss,I saw Nelson your friend with her,he actually went to her school.

And when he wanted to talk to her,they both moved away from were her friend was standing..

I think Nelson is her boy friend with the way I saw both of them..

I couldn’t believe this, it can’t actually be possible for Nelson to do something this bad, going to Alisha school without letting me know..

There must be a mix up somewhere.

Are you sure he is the one you saw,and you are not mistaking him for someone else.

I’m very sure boss,I even took a picture of them together..

To my surprise he brought out his phone and showed me the picture.

Anger filled me,I Never believe Nelson could actually do something like this.

The door opened with Nelson walking in smiling stupidly.

You son of a bitch,I stood up from my seat not minding how weak I was and gave him a hard blow on the face..

You bastard,how could you..

I gave him another blow,I trusted you

I was about giving him another blow when I felt weak all over my body and I fell to the floor.

NELSON P.O.V

I couldn’t believe what was happening, Dominic kept on giving me blow, calling me all sorts of names,I was about giving him a blow when he fell to the floor and pass out..

I was in shock,was just happened,I bend down beside him and touched is fore Head and find out it was so hot.

Quickly I shouted at mike ,join me let take him to the hospital.

We both carried him to the car and we arrived at the hospital in no time…

Dominic was rushed to the operating room and we had to wait for the doctor.

Then I turned to Mike

Do you have any idea about what happened in the office back then,like what actually made him angry..

No sir ,I don’t know ,,he said

But I didn’t believe him.

Mum he is going to be okay,just calm down and stop crying..

That voice sounded so familiar,I turned to the direction the voice was coming from and I saw it was Alisha and Tina with a woman crying bitterly..

What could possibly be the problem,who is this he they are talking about.

I thought,still Deciding if I should go over or not..

Will Dominic forgive Nelson?

Will he listen to Nelson Explanation?

The main question is does Alisha knows what is in store for her?
