I stood there ,still deciding if I should walk up to them.

When I saw one of the doctor going to meet them and I could hear him clearly telling them to follow him to his office…

I became more curious of finding out who they were talking about.

The doctor who went into the operating room with Dominic came out and I walked up to him quickly..

Doctor,how is he?

Hope he is okay?

Nelson,to be sincere with you, your friend Dominic is going down gradually.

His body system is beginning to fail him.

I just don’t understand, he is your friend ,why can’t you talk to him and convince him to go for the operation.

We’re running out of time,the earlier the better.

Doctor, I’m trying my best

We both know Dominic is one stubborn person,and telling him to do what he doesn’t want to do is really difficult.

I will keep on trying my best..

No problem,just ensure he comes for his regular check-up at least that will help alot

So how is his health condition now?

Can I go in and see him?

For now ,he is sleeping and you don’t need to disturb him.

You can wait for him,once he is awake the nurse will let you know.

With that he walked away..

I sat down in the waiting room with Mike standing beside me,today was really stressful.

About an hour later a nurse came to me and informed me that Dominic was up already.

I stood up walking to is ward with Mike right behind me..

immediately, I told him to wait outside while I talk to Dominic, with that I entered into the room.

DOMINIC P.O.V

I felt really weak and down,I tried turning my body but I couldn’t , slowly I opened my eyes and looked around to know were exactly I was ,then I realized I was in the hospital.

I tried remembering what happened,then I remembered I fainted when I tried punching Nelson

Ohhhh,that son of a bitch am so going to deal with him..

I heard the door opened and closed,I looked towards the direction and saw it was Nelson who entered.

And what the hell are you doing here, get the hell out of this room,i don’t ever want to see your face again..I shouted not minding my health condition.

Dominic,can you just calm down and tell me what this is all about.

Firstly,I came to your office and you attack me,now I came to see you and you are doing the same thing..

What the hell is going on??

You bastard,do you think I won't find out about what you did, I trusted you.

How could you go behind my back to see the girl I plan on getting married to,what exactly are you trying to do Nelson.

He didn’t say anything,he just stood there looking at me with a look I couldn’t figure out.

I couldn’t believe my ears,who could that person be, but first thing first.

ALISHA P.O.V

I tired putting myself together,I needed to be strong for my mum.

The more I tried to console her ,the more she kept on crying..

I had no idea what to do, until one of the doctor walked up to us and told us to follow him to his office..

We all stood up and went with him,Tina as really tried,I looked at her and her face was soaked with tears,not again.

We entered into the doctor office and we all sat down, but the doctor kept on looking at us.

I became scared, this is the moment I feared the most..

How could you allow it get to this extend? He asked.

We could have prevented it from getting this worst,if you have brought him here earlier..

I couldn’t understand what he was saying.

Doctor ,please can you explain better?

I don’t understand what you are saying.

I’m sorry to inform you ,but that little boy on that hospital bed as kidney problem.

And now it has gotten worst , because his two kidney are damaged completely..

I was shocked,I couldn’t utter a word, immediately mum fainted and she was rushed to another room till she regain herself.

Tina came closer to me and hugged me,I cried bitterly now was the time to cry out the pain and hurt I felt since mum and Alex wasn’t here..

I cried till my eyes hurts,Tina never said a word neither did the doctor, and I was grateful for that..

When I had cried enough, I cleaned my eyes and decided to ask the doctor for the way forward..

Doctor,what can we do?

Nothing must happen to my brother,I should have brought him earlier when I notice the change in him,but I thought it was nothing serious I never knew it was this bad..

Well young lady ,the only thing we can do to save him is for him to go for a kidney transplant immediately, because he has little time left.

Okay doctor, you can go ahead with the operation,in as much as he will be okay.

Things are not done that way young lady,you have to make payment before we proceed with the operation.

I couldn’t say anything,money was one thing we didn’t have right now.

How much is it doctor?? Tina asked.

10 what I shouted, were do you expect us to get that money from doctor..

That the best I can do for you,and you have little time to provide the money or loose your brother..

If you will both excuse me,am done with you,so you can leave and make sure you pay for today treatment at the reception..

I stood up feeling weak all over, so grateful to Tina who held me if not I would have fainted.

We walked out of the doctor office and went to the reception to sit down.

How on Earth am I going to get that huge some of money?

Alisha ,you have to calm down.

Don’t you dare tell me to calm down,you don’t know how I feel right now, nothing must happen to my brother.

Nothing will happen to him Alisha,but you have to calm down so we can both think of a way out, crying yourself out won’t solve anything and we both know it…

NELSON P.O.V

I walked out of the room and met Mike standing out,I looked at him and knew he was the one who told Dominic About me going to see Alisha.

I went to him and placed my hand on his shoulder.

You know, before giving fake information to people it’s better you find out the truth and the reason behind it before jumping into conclusion.

With that I tap his shoulder and walked away not

Waiting for is reply…

I walked around looking for Alisha when I heard voices coming from a doctor office

I went closer and listened and I heard Alisha crying.

Why will she be crying ,I decided to stay and know the reason..

I heard everyhing from her brother having kidney problem to the doctor telling her to make payment of 10 million for the operation.

Poor girl what will she do now?

You can both excuse me now I heard the doctor said and immediately I left there and went into Dominic room

I entered and saw him standing close to the window,lost in thought

We both know you should be resting now, so why are you up standing close to the window?

I’m sick and tired of this hospital I want to go home I’m perfectly okay now…

So were you able to find out anything…

Yes Dominic,as it is now,her brother is in this hospital.

He has kidney problem and 10 million is needed for them to do kidney transplant for him.

And with the way things are,I don’t think she has that amount of money.

I looked at Dominic and saw him smiling,.

ALISHA P.O.V.

I sat down with Tina not knowing what to do or say,

This really came as a shock,were on Earth will I get the money..

Still in thought,my eyes sighted two men talking to one of the doctor ,they somehow looked familiar.

I looked closely and found out it was Dominic and Nelson, but what are they doing here.

Can’t this people just let me be,I looked at Dominic more closely and our eyes met but he looked away pretending not to see me..

Immediately I remembered is offer and the money involved,the money he offered will be enough to pay for Alex transplant.

The only option left was for me to accept his offer.

Tina,the only option I have now is to get married to Dominic I said pointing towards is direction..

You can’t be serious Alisha,we both know you hate that guy,how are you sure you will cope with the marriage..

Look here tina ,I have no option, it’s my brother we are talking about here and I will do everything within my power to save him..

But please ,what I’m about to do let it be between us,my mum mustn’t know about it including Alex please..

When I saw the doctor had left them ,I stood up and went to Meet them.
