When I was young, my grandmother would cook me noodles. She would boil the water, then put the cooked noodles into the boiling water and stir it. After about ten minutes, the noodles would be ready to be eaten.
It was thick and melted in the mouth. Although it was not a good thing, it could be used as a substitute for porridge.
