C6 VAINA LOCA

Well… I slept peacefully last night thanks to Lena because she’s on my mind, always. On the other hand, I haven’t talked to Ben since Lena and I make out yesterday morning. I’m in a grey area and I have no idea about what happened to my life. I felt bad for Ben because I betrayed him. Ben is a good guy, I knew but I don’t think that I’m happy with him, I was… but now my happiest place is Lena, she’s the person that I’ve dreamt for… I don’t know if this is real or not or it's just my fantasies, it’s complicated.

I don’t know if Lena and I could end up together or not but hopefully. Last year my Abuelita asked me about my future plan marriage and she wants to see Ben in person. I have no plan yet… maybe because I don’t think that Ben is my future. My family is homophobic… I guess but I’m not sure. I don’t know yet, I haven’t talked to them about my gay side but when I was 16 my family and I ever watched a movie together at the family gathering, before I move out, my family and I like to spend time together especially in special days.

And here’s the interesting thing about the movie we watched that night… there’re lesbo scenes in the movie. I could well remember how my mom reacted that night, my mom stares at me and she pointed my eyes with her fingers as a sign of beware. My Abuelita enjoyed the movie night I guess… I missed my family. I think I’ll visit them this weekend. Today is the purple magazine's 10 years birthday party and the company will celebrate the 10 years birthday tonight. My phone rings and I reach over my phone at the bedside.

Riley calls me, and I hang up the phone. “Hi, Maia… would you please join me this evening?” Riley says. “Hey… sure” I say. “I need to buy a new dress for tonight” Riley says. “Well… I need that too… see you at 1… bye…” I say as I hang up the phone. Tonight is a special night for everyone in my workplace and I want to be the one who Lena pays attention to and I had plans. Riley picked me up and we’re on our way to the store. “Maia, is it just I, or I think our boss really into you?” Riley says as she drives the car.

“What?” I say as I raise an eyebrow. “Don’t you think?” Riley says as she stares at me and raises an eyebrow. “I…I don’t know…” I say in stutters as I lean and sigh. “If she likes you, you’re lucky sissy!” Riley says. “What are you talking about!” I chuckle as I highly raise my voice. “You must be kidding me Maia… she’s the hottest lesbian I’ve ever seen in town. You know… no one more attractive on the dating apps I used than her… wish I could find one like her” Riley says as she stares at me and raises an eyebrow. “Damn you pervert” I chuckle.

We arrive at the store and we choose the dress. Riley picks the black one and I pick the red one. Riley and I wear the dress in the fitting room. “What do you think Riley?” I say as I spin in my dress. “Wow… perfect” Riley says. “Well…” I say. “You know Maia, this dress is really fitted on you. Red cleavage dress in chest and thighs, your back looks good on my sight… Lena’s gonna like it” Riley says as she looks at me. I chuckle and smile in front of the mirror and looking at myself. We finish the shopping and Riley takes me home.

I prepare myself for tonight and my phone rings, I pick up the phone and I heard Lena’s voice through the phone “Hey what’s up?” I say. “Hey… Wanna be my dance partner tonight?” Lena says. “What?” I say in confusion. “Should I repeat my question?” Lena says as she chuckles. “Mmmm… okay I’ll consider that” I say in a low voice. “What... No… see you tonight lover!” Lena says as she hangs the phone. “What the hell” I mumble as I stare at the phone screen. I’m about to put my phone but the phone rings once more.

“Jeez…” I mumble as I pick up the phone. “You free tonight babe?” Ben says. “I’m sorry babe, I have a party tonight” I say. “What party?” Ben says. “Ohh… Purple magazine 10years party, all employees come” I say. “Ah jeez! Alright… I miss you so much Maia” Ben says as he highly sighs. “Me too Ben” I say and I hang up the phone. I wear my red dress and looking at myself in the mirror. I’m so pretty… I say deep inside. Red looks fit on me as Riley says, my Abuelita tells the same too.

I put the natural makeup on my face but kinda sexy with brown eye shadow and red lipstick on it. I booked the Uber and arrive at the party. The Uber driver opens the car’s door for me, I look like the Hollywood star on the red carpet. I walk to the ballroom with red carpet below my feet. The party starts… I’m standing in the sweet food section and chew the cupcakes. Riley comes… “Hey did you talk to Lena?” Riley says. “Not yet why?” I say. “I saw her stand near the bar section” Riley says as she leaves me and walks to the dance floor.

I finished my cupcake and walk to the bar section. I come to Lena and stand next to her. “Bonjour…you came” Lena says. “Well, when a beautiful boss calls. I have no choice but to answer” I say as I raise an eyebrow. “You look beautiful tonight” Lena says as she looks me up and down. “I’ve been told” I smile and I look away. Who do you love music playing around the place “Ugghhh I love this song” Lena says as she groans facing the ceiling. “I know what exactly what we can do…” Lena says as she pulls me to the dance floor.

We dance together and Lena dances right in front of me. She gently ran her soft hand against my back, slowly down to my ass. She trailed off as her hand gets closer towards my ass. Then she hugs me from the back and feels her hands on my waist. I turn around, facing her and rest my hand on her shoulder. I look at her brownie eyes and we lock into each other's eyes. The new song is playing and it’s a Hispanic song. “Is that reggaeton?” I say. “Yeap..” Lena says. “My Abuelita and I love reggaeton” I say as I slowly dancing.

“Abuelita?” Lena says as she raises an eyebrow. “Yeah...” I chuckle. “I thought you’re pure White-Asians but I wasn't right” Lena says. “Do I look like Asians?” I say. “Nope, you different… Remember the first day we met at the coffee shop? I said...Hi, Asians not Asian girl” Lena says as she lowering her hand to my ass. “Wow…I remembered that day” I chuckle as I move my left hand to her waist. “I really want to see your granny oneday” Lena says as she stares at me and smiles. “Mmm… oneday” I say as we dance follows the music.

Riley comes closer to us and we dance together. The three of us dancing, Lena is behind me and Riley is in front of me. Lena slowly runs her hands to my whole body. I turn around, facing her and rest my hands on her shoulders. Lena rests her hands on my waist, she kisses me in front of our colleagues but no one notices. “Lena, this is Riley, my work buddy...” I say. “I know… I paid attention to both of you at work” Lena says as she raises an eyebrow. “Riley helps me a lot” I say. “It’s good to see you here boss...” Riley says.

“Don’t call me boss, just call me by my name, I’m Lena” Lena says as she shook Riley's hand. “Alright then…” Riley says as she keeps dancing follows the music. Lena gently runs her fingers through my hair and stares at me. I could see her beautiful brownie eyes through the colorful lights and I occasionally smile as she looks at me with love in her eyes. I’ve been in the grey area but the way I feel about Lena is crystal clear. We all dance follow the music and enjoy the party until the party is over.
