The cold male voice was eerie like a ghost in the pitch-black tranquility of the night, as if Xia He had been struck by lightning, and instantly stiffened in place.

"I said it back!" Kong Yi raised his voice. Clearly, he had lost his patience.

Xia He took a deep breath and quickly ran towards the door. The moment he opened the door, Xia He seemed to see hope, but that hope was instantly shattered.
