Amanda hasn't been out of the room since this afternoon, even though Katty has twice persuaded her to accept Matt's dinner invitation, and she will refuse it outright.

"When exactly can I get off this ship? I can't stand it if I have to be on a ship with that insolent man! That sucks! Why would I be stuck here? Or do I swim to land? But what about my stuff?" Amanda muttered to herself
