C15

The dense forest that was filled with the chirping of insects and birds instantly quieted down. The only sound that could be heard was the rustling of trees being blown by the cold wind.

The entire world instantly became terrifyingly silent. It was like a forest full of vicious birds and fierce beasts that had discovered their prey and were about to set out on their journey. This peace and calm carried a sense of danger and death that caused one's hair to stand on end.

"Bang ~ ~ ~"

The crisp, ear-piercing sound of a gunshot breaking through the dead silence could be heard one after another.

After Su Jingya heard it, she was very clear that it was time to run. What followed was the time for each of them to hide and avoid the bullets, and the gunshots meant: Huangfu Yu and the two special forces had already discovered the escapee, and had been shot.

She ran with all her might, not caring if the vines would break her exposed skin, she just kept on running towards a hidden place.

No matter what, she had to hold on to the last one, then openly stay by his side.

However, she didn't know how long she would stay by his side. One day, one month, one year, or even a lifetime?

The temperature in the forest was very low, the air was moist, but Su Jingya was so tired that she was drenched in sweat. Sweat and fog merged together, wetting her camouflage clothing. The sticky substance wrapped around her slender body, but the most eye-catching part was her protruding stomach.

Although she was running with all her might, Su Jingya was carefully protecting her stomach the whole time. After all, this was her and Huan Huan's first child.

Su Jingya ran until her legs went soft, her throat was dry, and she was dizzy. She then kneeled down, her knees hitting the ground where the rocks and tree branches intersected, it was extremely painful.

She had exhausted all her energy so she wanted to find a place to rest, but then she thought: If she rested now, there was a high chance that Huangfu Yu would chase after her.

Therefore, she gritted her teeth and used both hands to prop herself up from the tree trunk. However, just as her hands touched the tree bark, she felt a sharp pain in her palm, causing her to cry out in pain. Spreading out his palm, he realized that the vine, which he had used to block the way, had actually left a bloody wound.

Carefully blowing on the wound, she looked around: she was at a crossroads.

Opposite was a straight road. The left one led to the mountain while the right one led to the mountain.

Her big black and white eyes rolled, and she immediately got up and ran down the path to the foot of the mountain. Using her feet, she pushed aside the weeds by the side of the road in one direction, tore off a few fibers from her clothes and hung them on the more conspicuous branches of the bushes.

Ten minutes later, a pair of shiny black military shoes appeared.

Sometimes, Huangfu Yu had to admit that Su Jingya was a very smart woman, but she would never know what it meant by "smart in return".

He indifferently swept his eyes over the three paths, and his gaze finally landed on the path that led down the mountain. His thin lips curled up into an evil smile.

He squinted his eyes and put the sniper rifle on his shoulder. Realizing that it was not Su Jingya, he unceremoniously pulled the trigger, Bang ~, a bullet flew out, followed by the howls of a prisoner on death row.

Just then, two voices came out from the walkie-talkie beside his ear: Young Master Yu, sniper attack 7 (8) people, done.

The corner of his mouth curled up. Until now, he had ambushed nine death row prisoners, and before the operation, he had assigned ten of them to the special forces to stop. His mission was to kill ten prisoners, plus one Su Jingya.

He still had two people.

Would Su Jingya be the last?

Su Jingya ran with all her might, until she had used up all her remaining strength. Dizzy and breathless, she picked a big banyan tree, crawled into a small hole made by the tree roots, and hid herself inside.

He thought about the temptation he had intentionally put in earlier. She was a lot more at ease with's bewilderment and the fact that she was hiding in a tree cave.

She closed her eyes to recuperate and recuperate. She no longer had the strength to run, so she had to recuperate as soon as possible. If by any chance Huangfu Yu caught up to her, she could at least struggle at death's door.

Although the last one wasn't that important, it hurt to have a bullet pass through his ankle.

However, after resting for less than a minute, she suddenly discovered that her surroundings had become abnormally quiet. That kind of silence was extremely eerie.

In addition, she always felt as if she was being stared at by a pair of hawk-like eyes. This kind of feeling was very frightening.

Su Jingya vigilantly looked around, but everything was calm, and nothing seemed to be amiss.

Just as she was comforting herself, she was actually scaring herself. Who knew ?

Bang ~ ~ Bang ~ Bang!

A series of gunshots rang out, and the bullets struck the tree trunk, sending its bark flying into the air.

Su Jingya screamed as she crawled out of the tree hole. She looked at the man who appeared out of nowhere in fear.

Huangfu Yu stared at her coldly, raised his sniper rifle and shot fiercely at her feet.

Su Jingya screamed and jumped high into the sky, then turned and ran away.

However, before she could even run a few steps, the "bang bang ~" sound of the bullets chasing her caused her to flee in all directions in a sorry state.

Su Jingya had to admit that Huangfu Yu's spear skills were exquisite to the point that it made people click their tongues. He had already mastered it to the point where he could not control his own actions.

As long as he wanted to hit you anywhere, even if it was just a strand of hair, he would never be able to escape the fate of being shot.

Bullets and death, chasing entanglement. Su Jingya's vision began to blur. Under her panic, she discovered that there was a dense patch of reeds at the foot of the mountain not far away. An unusual light flashed in her eyes, and without even thinking, she charged straight at the reeds.

Because she knew very well that only by doing so would she be able to avoid Huangfu Yu's demonic bloodthirsty chase.

However, no matter how she ran or how she ran, what she did was within his expectations.

It was as if she was in no mood to continue playing with her. As Su Jingya was desperately running towards the reeds, she aimed at her heels and pulled the trigger without even blinking her eyes.

The bullet pierced through the air and swept across Su Jingya's leg. Although the bullet finally drilled into the ground, blood flowed out from the ruptured military boots.

With a "plop", she fell to the ground in a sorry state. Su Jingya gnashed her teeth in pain.

She desperately wanted to get up and continue running, but she was seriously exhausted and her body was no longer under her control.

She struggled for a long time before finally lying on the ground, exhausted. Her eyes were tightly shut, and she was on the verge of death.

After a moment, she heard the sound of powerful footsteps slowly approaching as she opened her eyes with all her might. The first thing she saw was a pair of black leather boots stained with mud, and immediately after, she looked up and saw a tall, cold, and proud monarch's tall body, his gaze finally landing on his extraordinarily handsome face.

Huangfu Yu crouched down, grabbed Su Jingya's chin and forcefully lifted her head so that she could look at him.

In her hazy vision, Su Jingya saw bright and beautiful sunlight shining through the gaps in the trees. The light behind Huangfu Yu's handsome face blended into a shadow, and the expression on his face made it difficult for others to see him clearly. However, his shiny black eyes remained calm and indifferent.

The voice of the special forces rang in his ears: Young Master Yu, 10 (10) people, mission completed.

Huangfu Yu pursed his lips meaningfully: "You've lost, you'll stay here tonight!"

After he finished, he pushed her in disgust and Su Jingya fell back into the bushes.

Looking at Huangfu Yu's back figure that did not have a single trace of nostalgia, Su Jingya powerlessly laid on the ground. She wanted to call Huangfu Yu by name, yet she couldn't even make a sound as loud as a mosquito, and could only cry in her heart while shouting anxiously, "Huan Huan, Huan Huan, Huan Huan..."
