C4 In love with Mr Xander ( chapter 5)

The first day of school was a roller coaster. We were required to complete the necessary registration before the end of the week, including submitting all the required documents and getting assigned to the dorm.

I realized that private college came with a lot of rules; we couldn't wear certain types of clothes (like revealing ones, for instance) or leave school premises without an exit. I picked a dorm upstairs because I figured it would give me more privacy. The room had two bunk beds and was the first to arrive. I had the chance to pick the bed under.

I grabbed it immediately and set up my things in my corner. It was a nice dorm room and I hoped my roommate would be cool and easy to deal with because the last thing I needed was someone or anything that would distract me from my goals.

I settled in quickly and was soon on my way to being the top student in my class. For starters, my roommate was cool, and not much of a distraction in my way. I was really lucky; I had all kinds of horror stories about roommates.

My bunkmate, Sophia, was the last to move into the room. A project management major, she was beautiful and slow-minded. Even when someone cracked a joke, she was always the last to catch on to it.

Somehow it added to her cuteness. Mia and Ava moved in the day after I and I took another bunk bed. Mia was in Banking and finance while Ava was in the Accounting department. Ava was somewhat shy, while Mia was talkative, so they complemented each other well.

Three of us often left the room together, because the Accounting, Banking & finance departments were closely related and they took several courses together. We are close enough to be called friends, but we respected each other's boundaries and got along nicely.

The classroom was very conducive to learning and I enjoyed being there. Attending the lecture was a delight because the lectures pay proper attention to each student and I loved it. It gave room for more questions and detailed explanations and it also meant that students weren't to skip class unnoticed.

I didn't have any plans to skip classes anyway. I had no intention of letting Mr. Xander down. I was working hard to wow him with my result.

Mr. Xander and I talked on the phone every Saturday, right after I spoke with my parents and siblings. Those two call me every Saturday and that made Saturday my favorite of the week, and I always looked forward to the weekend.

Three months of learning and getting used to my new environment went by quickly, and I made friends with many-minded outstanding year students within and outside my faculty.

At first, trying to fit in with students from affluent homes was daunting, but what I lacked was wealth and family background, my personality and work ethic made up for it. As lectures went on, my intelligence and academic prowess began to attract both equally brilliant students and those who needed someone to teach them.

I enjoyed the attention, and endurance myself to teach them even more, Chapter four

Sunday morning I found myself still feeling overwhelmed by the fact that I got a satisfactory amount of money from a man that didn't know me, a man who didn't owe me anything.

The feeling lingered as the day went by. Of course I was happy ; $1,000 was a lot of money, and I got it easily, for no apparent reason. Yet, along with that happiness cameⁿ with that feeling that all was not lost because I know Mr Xander was concerned and it would be a mistake to give up. I was more certain now that if he heard my story and got to know me better, he would be even more generous.

The week-long wait I planned was more difficult than I had imagined. I couldn't stop thinking about Mr. Xander. Yes, he instructed me to lose his number and never to call but I doubted if he truly meant it.

Come Saturday, he will hear my story

And forget all he had said in restaurants. I was going to take the bull and horn, eliminate fear, and ask for help directly. It could be either right or wrong. I figured that I have nothing to lose except for a few days of nursing a bruised ego, and I was willing to take that risk.

Andrea called me to scold me. I told you not to tell him your real age, yet you went and told him 19. Forget your baby face with your boobs and ass you could have passed 22 or 23. How could you blow uppa perfect chance like this? It was a simple instruction for goodness' sake, Maddison.

Mr Xander got to her. What could I say, then, to agree with her that telling her real age has been a bad idea? I didn't tell her about my plans for the coming weekend, I just thanked her for her help, and promised to return her wig the following week.

"There's no need, just keep the wig," she said. "It is the latest I can do now that we're out of options."

"Thank you, Andrea, you have been so kind to me and I will repay your help."

"After her call, I was even more determined to salvage the situation. The long-awaited day eventually came, and I decided to wait till 4 pm,4 pm to increase my chance of catching Mr. Xan. der at a good time.

I chose that time because it was his free time on the Saturday we met, and hopefully, it would be so again. I was home alone as the Twins had gone with mum to her shop, and my dad had attended a "business meeting" attended, which usually meant that he had gone to ask someone for a loan. My siblings had lost a week at school already.

At 4 o'clock on the dot, I. called Mr. Xan. der. At the sound of the first ring, I found myself unable to sit still, so I stood and began walking around the sitting room. He answered on the third ring.

"Hello."

"Hello, good day sir," I said softly.

"It's Maddison sir. I know you asked me not to call. I'm deeply sorry, but I just had to. Please can we meet for drinks? There are some things I have to discuss with you please."

"No," he said emphatically. "We can't, don't ever call me again."

"Sir…"I started, only to hear the line cut right on my ear.

I could not believe that he hung up on me, but not being one who would back down easily, I called him again.

"Say what you want to say over the phone," he said, the tone becoming authoritative. I have just five minutes to spare, I'm listening.

It was my chance to make a strong impression. My life and education moving forward Now depend on me and how convincing I could sound. I started by telling him I had an excellent high school result.

I'm impressed," he said.

I then proceeded to tell him about my parents' financial struggles. My younger one dropped out of school because my parents had no money, and how my mum already settled for a mediocre life by getting me a form to learn to tailor.

"I'm very sorry to hear all this," he said

I could hear the compassion in his voice, and it encouraged me to press on. I explained how I went to Andrea for help and how desperate I wanted to leave California for Los Angeles. I'm going to study medicine and work in a multinational someday, just like you."

"Now that's interesting."

"I'm serious sir. I want to be like you and I will be very grateful if you can agree to be my mentor. If you invest in me now, I promise I will pay back every bit of it in the future."

At that he laughed out loud, it was the first trace of humor I had glimpsed in all our interactions.

"I don't need your payback for doing the right thing, Maddison. You have $1,000 with you now. Apply to two private universities. If you meet the entrance requirements and get admission, I will sponsor your education. I gasped, unable to believe my ears.

"Sir? My entire education?"

He laughed again. "Of course, I don't intend to abandon you halfway. I have just begun.

I'm so grateful sir. Thank you so much! May God bless you and reward you. How can I ever repay you?" I didn't have enough words to express my gratitude. This was beyond what I could have hoped for.

"You are welcome. I have just one thing to ask you."

At that point, I was ready to give him anything that he asked for. I could not be when he was about to bring my most p00recious dream back to life.

"Anything sir, "I said eagerly.

"Don't take advantage of me, I'm helping you simply because I can afford it, and I like that you are transparent and honest. Those rare traits to find in human beings in this generation. Do what you have said you will do. Don't let me down."

"I won't take advantage of your kindness sir, and I won't fail you, I promise. Thank you so much for your time, sir." "O, no, more thing," he said.

"Yes sir?"

Drop the sir and call me Xander. Please don't make me ask again."

I smiled. "Thank you, Xander. I'm truly grateful.

Just like that, there was a glimpse in the air. It's true what they say:nothing good comes to the clothing comfort zone. I was so thankful that I decided to contact Mr. Xander again, and I followed through. The direction of my life would likely never have changed otherwise if I had listened to his scolding. I was beyond happy. I was ecstatic.

All I could think about was which school I could apply to. After devoting enough time to thoroughly research at the cyber cafe, I settled for two schools. I brought the form online and sent my appreciation. The admission process would take a month. I didn't even tell my parents anything about the process, but I knew I would have to tell them about the plans immediately if any school accepted me. They probably would not believe that someone decided to sponsor my education, so I know I would have to lie.

I called Andrea to tell her the good news.she was indeed overjoyed.

"Babe, I'm so happy for you! Xander can be very principled when it comes to certain things. But he's very good and that's why I thought of him when you came to my shop that day."

"I have you to thank, Andrea, because without you it wouldn't have happened. I'm so grateful, may God reward your kindness to me."

"The pressure is all mine, what are sisters for? But you are brave sha, after he told you to lose his number, you still ignored what he said and called…"

We laughed and chatted for hours, discussing our dreams and painting the pictures of our future. Andrea still travels to Los Angeles often, and she promised to keep in touch.

The following week, my siblings were back in school, thanks to whoever had loaned dad money this time. Initially, I went to my mum's shop every day to assist her, but when she wouldn't stop asking me about the form of the tailoring course,

I stopped going. Instead, I enrolled for swimming lessons. I had always wanted to swim but that was not my main reason for going there. I wanted to start associating with rich and successful people I would eventually meet. I wanted to start leaving my old life behind me even before I got out.

My first time in the pool was an exhilarating experience. I love the water and the ambiance, and I relished rubbing shoulders with the wealthy. It was quite frustrating trying to fit in, not understanding most of what they were talking about as their reference to TV shows and travel sounded strange to me and I felt lost. Nonetheless, I had a nice time, and I remembered to myself that a journey of a thousand miles begins with a step. I knew I would get there in no time.

The month went by quickly and I got a call from the shop attendant at the cyber cafe who helped me with the admission process. Not only had I been accepted into both schools, but I was also admitted to study the exact course I applied for! Finally, my dreams were coming to life. I picked up my phone and called Mr. Xander to share the good news.

"I'm so happy for you!" He said genuine excitement was evident in his voice. He encouraged me to choose the private college as his friends had shared there.

"Thank you for all you have done for me, and all you are going to do. You have given me hope and a new lease on life. Thank you so much," I gushed.

The only thing left to face is my parents, and I pack my belongings into my new environment. I knew better than to tell my parents that a man I just met was sponsoring my education. They would not believe it, and it would only make them uncomfortable to accept the proposal. I sat down and told them the most reasonable lie I could come up with: that I won a scholarship and my full tuition and cost of living would be taken care of.

"So you're going to be a graduate?

I'm going to be a mother of a graduate? Glory be to God!" My mother said she stood and began to dance.

"My daughter, I must thank you for taking the initiative, for being brave and smart enough to apply for a scholarship," I said.

"This is a great miracle and a good example to your younger ones. Congratulations to my child."

"They were so happy and grateful. If only they knew that a divorced man was sponsoring their child's education.

The resumption date was September 15, and honestly, I couldn't wait to leave for Los Angeles. My fees were sorted and Mr Xander had sent pocket money to my bank account. When I mentioned traveling by road, he bluntly refused.

I will book a flight for you, please. My motorist, Mason, will pick you up at the airport in Los Angeles and take you to school."

I couldn't believe my good fortune. He had already sent me more than enough money to cover my needs as far as school is concerned, and now I would be traveling by air for the first time in my life. I felt so pampered and privileged. I decided to take Michael and Martha out before I left, this time without skimming the cash.

"Maddison, you want to finish your scholarship money?"

I laughed. "Mummy is not a snack and ice cream that will finish the money. I'm managing it well, so don't worry. I just needed to spoil them a little, and for the fact that it will be a while.

We went to a different eatery, where the Twins had donuts and meat pie, and egg rolls, with each getting their mini bowl of ice cream. They brought sausage rolls and drinks to take away. Happy and talking excitedly all the way. It wasn't just that my life was changing, theirs would never be the same either, and they knew it.

On the day of my departure, I got to the airport on time, and when we boarded I couldn't hold back my tears of joy. I was beyond grateful for the opportunity and blessings God had allowed me to enjoy. It was my first time on a plane, heading to a new city where I know nobody, and to start a new life. I couldn't wait to start living it.

by focusing on my goals and topping class.

Before we knew it, the school was getting ready to close for the Christmas and New year holidays. I didn't even want to go to California and so I asked Mr. Xander if I could stay In Los Angeles while school resumed.

He was hesitant at first, but he reluctantly agreed, and I figured out that Mr. Xander didn't have the balls to tell me no when I asked for anything. The driver picked me up from school and drove me to the house. On the outside, it looked like a regular wealthy people's home I usually see in photographs, but when I walked in, my eye nearly popped out from the sockets.

The Tv was so big and it took up the entire wall, and I gasped when I saw the stairs with gigantic, curved rails. I walked around and found the game room, guest room, and mini cinema. I could even imagine what was upstairs.

My eye had seen something that I never imagined was possible, Mr. Xender had everything. He had two cooks who doubled as stewards, taking care of the house. I learned this from the one who came to take my bags and show me my room.

She told me her name was Emma and she worked the daytime shift, while the other cook, Lucas, worked evening and early mornings, spending the night in the boys ' quarter at the back. She was rather chatty, and I wondered if it was the joy of seeing another human being after spending countless lonely days here by herself, or if she was just a natural talkative.

It was amazing that Mr. Xander had two household employees, two drivers, and a gateman on payroll, yet he lived alone. Call me agreeable or ungrateful, but I wanted that life to be mine too. I wanted it every moment I spent in the big bed in his air-conditioned guest room. I wanted it when the cook came to ask me what I wanted to eat for lunch and dinner.

I started plotting how to move Mr. Xander from just being a mentor sponsor to being his lover. My 20th birthday was in January, and I would no longer be a teenager. The thought made me very happy. I would be old enough and he was going to be mine.

The question on my mind was, would it be a good idea to wait until I'm 20? Wouldn't it be best to seduce him during this holiday? I fell asleep with these thoughts and woke up the following morning still undecided about which step to take. The only way

Mr. Lucas, who took over from Emma the night before, knocked on my door and walked in with what I had only read about in novels: breakfast. There was absolutely no way I could eat everything on the plates. There were fruits, and different kinds of bread I had never tried before. I picked up one and examined it.

"That is a croissant," Mr. Lucas said, answering my unspoken question. "Enjoy your meal and get dressed. Mr. Xander is around. He arrived last night after you had gone to bed."

"What?" I had spoken with him and he hadn't mentioned coming to Los Angeles! Perhaps, he wanted to surprise me. "Yes. He says you are going shopping with the driver."

"Wow." I rushed through my meal. Even though I would have liked to linger and savor it, seeing Mr. Xander was more important at this point. And shopping?

That sounded like yet another dream getting ready to burst into my reality. I had my bath and selected my lingerie very carefully. Shopping might mean trying on new clothes. Based on this, I decided on an outfit that would be easy to take off and put back on: a long black sundress would be fine.

I quickly performed my wrists, neck, and back of my ears, let my braids down and dashed out of the room. I saw him standing in front of the Tv. He looked handsome even more than I could remember.

"Good morning, Xander," I said, walking up to him.

"Maddison. It was good to see you again. How are you doing today? I hoped you slept well, right?" He asked.

"Yes, what about you?

"I slept great. Here's my card, you are going shopping. He handed me a chunk of the journal with his signal written on it. I'm guessing you will need new clothes."

"Thank you so much, "I said, hugging him.

Just like Mason, the driver Moshood did not talk too much on the way to the mall. Mr. Xander sent me a text after we drove out.

Mr. Xander: make sure you get yourself a lot of clothes, handbags, and shoes.

Thank you so much. I wouldn't want to spend too much.

Mr. Xander: if you spend anything less than $500 I will be upset.

I threw my head back and laughed. I couldn't believe my eyes. All that money just for shopping? Immediately, I knew what I had to do. I was going to make a move that night when I got home.

The shopping experience was surreal. I remembered the day I stood in Andreas' shop looking at outfit races wondering when I would be able to afford such clothes and express my fashion sense. Who would have thought that it would be so soon? I spent $500 that day.

After buying the clothes and accessories I wanted, I carefully selected the sexiest lingerie I could find. Xander felt something for me, and whenever he fanned into me what I needed it to be.

As soon as I got back home, I took my time to groom myself properly. I shaved meticulously, soaked myself in a fragrant bubble bath, listening to music to kill time. I needed Mr. Lucas to finish in the kitchen and leave the main house for BQ. When the water started getting cold I stepped out, dried myself, and put on my lingerie.

As soon as I had the cook telling Xander he was closing for the night, I threw on a robe and a pair of house footwear. After a few minutes, I heard Xander's footsteps going up the stairs. Then, I heard the sound of the door opening and shutting.

I took one last look of myself at the full-length mirror in my room, stepped out, and tiptoed up the stairs. Taking a deep breath, I knocked on his door.

Then he opened the door a crack and sucked his head out. " Maddison is everything Ok?"

"Yes, but I need to speak to you please. May I come in?"

He hesitated for a moment, then opened the door and stepped outside so I could go in. I walked in and sat at the edge of the bed. He walked past me and sat near the pillows.

"Why are you sitting so far away? I asked

"I just wanted to be comfortable. What is it that you want to discuss with me that couldn't wait till morning?"

I smiled, he had a good idea of what I wanted, and he was going to fly with a lot of talk. I knew just what was needed to fix that. I stood up, United my robe, and let it fall.

His jaw dropped as I knew it would. He had focused on my baby face from the moment he met me, refusing to think of me as a woman.

"Look, Maddison…

"he started, unable to take his eyes off my boobs as they jiggled in the half-cup bra.

I haven't thanked you properly for your kindness to me. And you spent a lot today just to make me happy."

"I'm just looking after you as the sister I never had. I don't want anything from you."

"I don't say you wanted anything. I just want to take care of you too." I said,

walking towards him. Although he was still staring at my boobs, he was recovering too quickly. I needed my scent to fill his head.

"Maddison, I'm old enough to be your father. You're just a teenager."

"I will be 20 in a couple of weeks, " I said sitting on his lap.

"I wanted to be more to you, Xander."

"Maddison, I don't want to ruin things."

It was clear that he was powerless to resist me, but I knew I wanted to be gentle. I couldn't afford to pressurize him into anything. He had to want this as willingly as he wanted to sponsor me. I got off his lap and slid into the bed,

"Ok, let's just talk, "I said, pulling him into the bed with me.

He talked for almost an hour. The more he talked, the more his resistance lowered, and soon he was wrapped up in my arm, his head on my breasts. I could feel his hardness throbbing against my leg. It was time.

I slid down till we were face to face and I kissed him. Laying my hand over his chest, I could feel just my heart beating faster and faster. He kissed me back with some much passion that I knew he had been trying too hard to control himself. When he spoke, his voice was thick with desire.

I was amused at how clear-headed he was, considering the throbbing erection I could still feel against my leg. His self-control was remarkable.

He began to touch me, slowly at first. He traced the curve of my hip, squeezed my ass gently, and finally, he took one of my nipples in his mouth. I could feel myself melting as he continued to tease my body with his lips. When his finger found my wetness I nearly lost my mind.

Xander was an amazing lover. I was not a virgin, but he was my second man ever, and I love every bit of the way he touched me. When he eventually started fucking me, I saw stars, he made me feel like a woman again in my life.

The next morning, I couldn't stop thinking of him, and I couldn't believe that we had sex all through my stay here.
