If before, Chaise was pestering me, pretending to be cute and teasing me around school, he was now staying away. I could still see him watching me during lunch or on the grounds when he was hanging out with some friends and I happened to pass by. I couldn’t make out the expression on his face. He looked genuinely hurt… or pissed
