C16 Demon

In the next moment, Tiantian found herself wearing a few more layers of clothing, and she wasn't exactly in a vulnerable state underneath. Wei Ya looked utterly shocked. "Tiantian, are you really some kind of supernatural being? I thought I was imagining things, but it turns out you're not even human!"

"My dear sister, how could I not be human? I'm your sister, after all. I have a heartbeat, you know. Please, get a grip on the situation, will you?" Tiantian replied with a smug expression, having freed herself from Wei Ya's restraints.

This only fueled Wei Ya and Zitao's anger. "Tiantian, get real. You need to understand that you're just one person, and there are so many of us here. Do you really think you can take us all on?"

"No worries, I am a supernatural being," Tiantian said, playing along with their assumptions. If everyone thought she was some kind of mythical creature, she might as well embrace it.

"I think, even if you are some supernatural being, you can't stand up to this gun in my hand," Wei Ya said, pulling a gun from her clothes and pointing it at Tiantian.

Tiantian's heart skipped a beat; she really wasn't sure how to handle Wei Ya in this situation. But when it came to the unarmed, burly men, she was confident in her ability to fend them off.

Thanks to her agility, Tiantian swiftly used a sharp object to fend off the men who had sinister intentions toward her. Such thoughts were best left unimagined, yet here they were. Since they dared to appear, today would be their downfall.

Soon, Wei Ya and Ning Zitao watched as Wei Tiantian slashed the arteries in these men's necks, blood spraying everywhere. Ning Zitao recoiled at the sight. He had never realized that Wei Tiantian was such a ruthless person when they were together. It wasn't just her cruelty; she was also heartless. Because of Wei Tiantian's monstrous nature, he had lost his chance to be a man.

"Wei Tiantian, I'm done with you!" Ning Zitao grew angrier by the second and charged at Wei Tiantian, intent on stabbing her.

Both had knives in their hands, but while Wei Tiantian remained calm, Ning Zitao acted on impulse. It didn't take long for Ning Zitao to find himself at a disadvantage. Wei Ya aimed a gun at Wei Tiantian, but couldn't get a clear shot because Wei Tiantian kept moving. The gun had only four bullets, meant for the four members of the Wei family.

At that moment, Wei Tiantian plunged her knife into Ning Zitao's heart and pulled it out, blood splattering across her face. She didn't care in the slightest.

Seeing Ning Zitao killed by Wei Tiantian, Wei Ya felt an emptiness inside. She dropped to her knees, cradling Ning Zitao's lifeless body in her arms.

"Tiantian! Why, why did you have to kill Zitao? You could have killed me instead. Why her?" Ya's eyes were red with anger as she glared at Tiantian.

Tiantian let out a cold laugh. "You'll never understand how much you hurt me in the past. I'm just settling the score one by one, and that's more than fair. Yet, you're still not satisfied?"

Her words were a question, but they dripped with disdain.

Just then, Sucheng burst into Tiantian's room, shocked to find it filled with bodies. He had just returned from a company party and heard Ya's heart-wrenching cries from the doorway. He thought it was just another argument, but he hadn't expected it to be a matter of life and death.

"What on earth are you two doing?" Sucheng asked, bewildered and frozen in place.

Ya continued to glare at Tiantian with hatred, then raised the gun in her hand and aimed it at Tiantian, pulling the trigger.

"Bang!" Tiantian thought she was about to leave this world again, but she was unharmed. Sucheng, who had been standing beside her, had shielded her from the bullet. "Tiantian, Ya's lost it. Run!"

Wei Tiantian watched everything unfold, never imagining that in this life, Wei Sucheng would die because of her. Yet, the main reason for his death was Wei Ya. At this moment, Wei Sucheng realized just how terrifying a woman Wei Ya was.

Hearing the news, Wei Tiantian didn't hesitate. She ran straight out of the house, but as soon as she stepped through the door, she encountered Wei Dongcheng and their mother.

"Tiantian, what's going on? What happened?" Wei Dongcheng asked, but Wei Tiantian, filled with anger, grabbed both of them.

"Quick, we have to go! We can't stay here! Hurry!" Wei Tiantian desperately tried to pull Wei Dongcheng and their mother away.

But then, two gunshots rang out behind them. Wei Tiantian felt the life leave the two people she was holding.

She couldn't help but cry, her tears falling to the ground, and the world seemed to fall silent. She said to the system, "The last shot, Wei Ya took her own life!"

Wei Ya had originally aimed a bullet at Wei Tiantian, ready to pierce her body, but suddenly, the bullet changed course and perfectly hit Wei Ya in the head.

At that moment, the Wei family home was eerily silent. Blood stained the ground and walls, including Wei Tiantian's hands.

Her greatest sorrow was losing the parents who had loved her so dearly in the war. She was the only survivor, but she emerged victorious.

The tragedy that befell the Wei family quickly became common knowledge, and Tiantian was labeled a "jinx." Many thought no one would want to live or be friends with her. Yet, Tiantian managed the family's company exceptionally well and even supported the Ning family when they were on the brink of bankruptcy.

A year later, intimate wedding photos of Tiantian and Ning Chenfeng, the eldest son of the Ning family, were leaked to the media and splashed across the newspapers.

Looking at the papers, Chenfeng wasn't angry. He knew it was time to make their relationship public. "Tiantian, our relationship is out in the open now. Just taking wedding photos isn't enough; we should get married."

Chenfeng took out the wedding ring he had long prepared for Tiantian and slipped it onto her ring finger. Tiantian beamed with joy. "You sneaky thing, when did you get me another ring?"

"The ring isn't what matters most. What matters is that I love you, and that hasn't changed since the day you kissed me first." Despite the unfortunate label attached to his wife and the dangers she had faced, Chenfeng held no reservations. He wanted to give Tiantian a love beyond reproach. After all, if it weren't for Tiantian's support, the Ning family might have ended up just an ordinary household.

Ning Chenfeng firmly believed that fate had bonded them together, inseparable. Wei Tiantian felt the love Ning Chenfeng had for her, and the pain of losing her parents gradually eased. She was determined to live well, ensuring that her father and mother in heaven would have no regrets.

In that final moment, Wei Tiantian said to Ning Chenfeng, "I love you. I always knew I would marry you, and I will."
