when I got to my penthouse I stripped and walked to my bathroom. I need to cool myself down. Elon, even though tries to act tough is a big softie. He falls in love rather quickly and hard. This makes me sad sometimes because I've been with him for almost all our lives and he doesn't see me that way. is something wrong with me?. I don't deserve him and I know it. why did I have to fall in love and risk my friendship with him. This shouldn't have happened. All he did was help me with my modelling career and we became friends ever since but I just had to be the stupid one and fall in love. I can't be mad at him. He did nothing wrong here. I'm the one in love.

My bath was filled with water already so I got in and exhaled, breeze blowing on my skin making the water chill. I closed my eyes and took deep breaths. My method didn't work because as much as I avoided it the tears fell. I don't want to lose my bestfriend and I can't stop being in love with him. If only I was good enough for him maybe he would look at me the way he looked at Karinna. Doesn't he like my blonde hair?. I could dye it brown. I'd let him pick the shade. I smiled at the thought. I got out to take my night dress. I have a big day tomorrow. I have a shoot with this beauty soap company and I can't risk looking tired. I texted El goodnight with my usual double heart emoji before I closed my eyes and fell into s deep sleep.

"Brinnnnggg" I groaned on hearing the sound of my alarm waking me up. I want to sleep a little longer. I hit the top of the clock to snooze the alarm and I went back to sleep. About five minutes later the alarm started sounding again.

"argh" I sat up. I stretched my hands over my head, yawning. I rubbed my eyes to help clear my sight. I picked my phone up to check my mail to see if I have any new job offer. I didn't. I checked my messages and I saw a message from El.

Good morning sunshine. See you for lunch and bring your delicious cookies.

I smiled at the text. Why does he have to be so sweet. You're his best friend silly and these texts wouldn't mean anything if you weren't in love with him. i groaned as I threw my pillow across the room angrily. F***k!.

"jeez. Gia!" I looked up shocked to hear his voice. I forgot he had his thumb print added to my security system.

"what are you doing here?" I snapped. I didn't mean to. I'm angry. Angry at myself for messing myself up this much.

"ohhkay. I don't know why you're this angry at me but you actually told me you wanted me to be there for your shoots like I always do. it's alright if you don't want me there this time" He said turning to leave. He is angry and I know it.

"I'm sorry. I thought you forgot because you said we were going to meet later during lunch" I explained . He looked confused for a minute.

"And that's what got you angry?"

"No, no of course not. I was frustrated with myself. Don't worry about it" I stood up to go to the bathroom. As soon as I walked past him he pulled me back making my against his chest. I took deep breaths.

"I need to get ready" I am angry now. sometimes I feel he knows how I feel and he doesn't feel the same way but he doesn't want to lose our friendship too.

"ok. I'll be in the kitchen making breakfast but you have to tell me what's bothering you" He said. I nodded on my way to the bathroom.

I took my time. The shoot is 11:00am and it's still 7:00am. I was done in the bathroom by 7:30am. I didn’t see El when I came out of the bathroom. He's making breakfast already. I put on a short white skirt and a blue tank top. I picked my pair of favourite heels. it is a white strapped heels. I had earrings on too. I also put on my wristwatch. I just brushed my hair down and no make up. I'll still have to change when the shoot is about to start and I definitely don't want to have to clean up my make-up. I carried my bag and took El's phone that was lying on my bed.

"Hmm. That smells nice" I said while rolling my eyes. you won't believe what Elon made for breakfast. I can't stop laughing.

"Thank you" He was already laughing. I sat down beside him as I poured my milk in the bowl still amused. I pouted the cearel too before digging into my delicious breakfast. I gave El an extra spoon and he joined me. We were done in no time.

We left . During the ride El said he wanted to pick something from his office.

"I need to get something from work. Do you mind?" He asked. I nodded.

"No. We still have time and I also want to see your new girlfriend"I teased. With a blush on his face he denied

"She isn't my girlfriend"

"yet" I added for him.

"yet" He confirmed. I walked into his company, my hands wrapped around his right arm. El was telling me something funny that happened during a business meeting he had recently that made me laugh. I got looks from his employees but it's nothing I'm not used to. I ignored them as we walked in his office together. I didn't miss the look I got from his secretary. They are not even dating yet. Elon picked a brown file and smiled.

"Done. Let's get going" He said. The door opened and Karinna walked in. No knocking?.

"Could have at least asked for permission" I said crossing my hands with a frown.

"I'm sorry." She said. I scoffed and walked out of the office making sure to hit her shoulders. That was petty but I'm angry. It doesn't justify my actions. I went to seat in the car. After about ten minutes El came out looking angry. He slammed the door of his car as he got in facing me.

"What's your deal?" He sounded very angry.

"Nothing. I don't like her"

"You don't even know her. You never like anyone I love. I thought we were supposed to be bestfriends" He sounds hurt.

"We are. I'm sorry. Can we go now?" I asked rolling my eyes. He just ignored me and started the engine before zooming off. He drove really fast and I knew how pissed he was at me.
