Admetos

I felt him punch my face . Pain burst across my cheek and I used that pain to channel my anger . I kicked him in the chest . He tried to punch me again but I blocked it . Then I twisted his arm and heard the crunching of bones but I didn't stop . I brought him to his knees and kicked him in the stomach until he puked blood . Then I punched him and his head swung back . I was about to give him another punch when I heard my mother's voice .

' Admetos! That is enough training for one day . ' she shouted from across the training ground .

I dropped the man I was training with surprised by my own strength . I apologized and headed to my mother .

' You almost killed him . What is wrong with you ? ' she asked .

' I'm sorry mom . It won't happen again . ' I replied just for her to let me off the hook .

' You said that the last time . Your father wants to see you . ' she said sternly and walked back towards the pack house .

I followed her . My father must have heard of what happened outside . I sighed and braced myself for the insults .

Even since I turned for the first time since I was sixteen, I had a hollow space that I knew should be filled with something . Then my father told me about my missing brother and the prophecy . They already tried every means possible to find him but he was cloaked . They even used my blood but it didn't work . At first, I was excited about the idea of a twin brother but now after my father has compared me to him a million times, I held hatred for someone I did not know . Even when I finally met my mate when I was seventeen, that hollow still was not filled and it just made me hate him more . We entered my father's office . He immediately signalled to his beta to leave .

' What exactly is wrong with you Admetos ? Do you want to kill all my commanders ? You are to train with them not hurt them . ' my father said softly and I knew he was trying to keep his temper at bay .

' I am sorry dad . I just lost control . ' I replied bowing my head .

' You had better get a grip on yourself . If Adalwolf was here, he would have been able to guide you . But how will he do that when you were already prophecied to be against each other ? '

' It is okay Amarok . Give him time . He just needs to complete his mating with Arya . ' my mother said putting her arms around my father .

' The mating ceremony is in three weeks . I hope all plans are in motion ? ' father asked .

' Of course . Seeing as he also turns eighteen on that day . ' my mother replied .

' Okay . You can go . I will call for you when needed . ' my father said turning to me . I bowed to him and left his office . As I got outside, my temper was raging . Luckily, I met Arya just outside the door .

' Come . ' she whispered and pulled me towards my own office .

As we entered, I pushed her against the door and gave a deep kiss . Then my temper calmed . She was my anchor and mate . The only one that could get through to me if I ever turned feral .

' Thank you . ' I whispered against her mouth .

' You know he just misses your brother so much . They knew him but you didn't . He does not mean to hurt you . ' she said in a soft voice .

She was right . She was always right and that was why I was falling in love with her .

' Did you know our mating ceremony and my birthday falls on a full moon ? ' I asked leading her to the couch beside my book shelf .

' Yes . We have to mate under the moon . That is the custom . ' she replied blushing .

She was very shy, very small and a half breed . She was always picked one by other full breed females in the pack but they would not touch her . Because of me .

' Have you picked out your dress ? ' I asked trying to make a conversation .

' Yes . My mum is the one making the arrangements for it . ' she replied eagerly .

' That's great . We should meet at the gardens tonight . I have missed it . ' I said .

' Okay . I will see you there . I have to go . There are other preparations to make . ' she replied and gave me a small smile . She was about to go when I pulled her back for another kiss .

' If you keep doing this, we won't last three weeks . '.she said as she broke the kiss off .

' We will be okay but you don't leave me without a kiss . ' I replied and kissed her forehead .

She nodded her head and left .

I was about to leave the office when my best friend, Alastair came in . Alastair was one of the special types of werewolves. A Zeta . He was first recognized during his first turn when his eyes were the same color as his fur . Since then everyone in the pack envied him . He was always the first to sense danger and since he turned eighteen, he now handles pack strategy and coordination . We have been friends since they were little .

' I just caught Arya scurrying out of your office . Her face was flushed . What has been going on here ? ' he asked his eyes twinkling .

' Stop it Alistair . Go find your mate . ' I replied grinning .

' I already found her . She just doesn't want me so like a fool that I am, I came to you for advice . ' he said his face serious .

' Who is it ? ' I asked curiously .

' Athena . ' her replied .

' Athena ? Daughter of Zeus ? The most powerful female wolf in the pack ? The double shifter ? ' I asked surprised .

' Yes . That one . Thank you for knowing so much about her . ' he said smugly .

' I know you don't want to mess with her . If she is truly your mate, then you are in for it . '

' Just shut up and help me out . '

' What did she say to you when you told her ? '

' We were in our wolf forms, I sniffed her and our eyes met . It was my first time seeing her in her wolf form . Then she ran like hell . ' he explained .

I started laughing hard .

' What is funny ? ' he asked with a straight face .

' Why will you sniff Athena ? No one messes with her you know . ' I replied still laughing .

' We were all playing around . Her scent was all over the place .What did you expect ? ' he asked getting impatient .

' Okay . I will help you . Let's plan . ' I replied . Then we made a list on how to win a powerful and agressive double shifter .

' This should work . ' I said to him holding this list .

He gave me a look and I knew what it meant then I started laughing again .
