MICHAEL'S POV

When she had told me her name,I punched it in my phone but the picture I was seeing on it was definitely not her

Another name gripped my attention

MIRANDA KRESS

I tapped on it and her face popped up

Had she been lying to me

I called her Miranda and truly it was her because she shook immediately

"Why have you been lying to me"I asked immediately as she blinked her eyes

"Nothing"she said and I twitched my brows

"Nothing?, you just felt like lying"I asked shocked and taken aback

"Uhmm I didn't mean to,I just didn't think we would meet again"she said

"And mitchelle is your best friend right"I asked

"Yes"she answered

"So mitchelle can also lie to Kel and I"I asked unbelievable that Michelle can already start lying to Kel

"No please don't blame her she was just trying to save my ass"she said and I sighed

"Uhmm whatever .go make the pasta already"I said

MIRANDA'S POV

I sighed as I walked into the kitchen, I feel really terrible for lying to him

But why should I be

This is one of my traits as an assassin

I lie everytime

Infact my life is a lie

I chuckled softly as I remembered how I dreamt of being an air hostess and fly my family around

But too bad it's all gone and now I find myself WORKING FOR A MAFIA just to seek revenge

I laughed at my thinking and proceeded to start cooking

I placed the pot after rinsing as I switched the gas cooker on

I brought out the pasta from the cupboard and broke it into tiny pieces

Wait I didn't ask him if he likes his pasta long and short

Well I hope he likes it like this

I poured it in the pot of water already boiling

"Am sorry for lying to you, please forgive me"I said as soon as he finished his food

Well I thought about asking him for forgiveness while cooking to gain his trust

I know there's more about him,I need to know and if he doesn't trust me,I can't find out

"Hmm I forgive you anyway,just didn't believe you can lie about your identity"he said

"Thanks and please can I go home now. Will like to go arrange my things for work tomorrow and mind if I stay here"I asked

"No problem you are highly welcome"he said winking and I found myself blushing

Well I like him but not like the way you think

"Ok gotta go now then"I said picking up my bag

"Ok see you tomorrow"he said brushed my cheeks and walked away

This man won't be the end of me

I entered inside my apartment as soon as I got down from the taxi and saw Mitchelle staring daggers at me

"Ok I can explain"I said

"You better do "she said still staring daggers at me

I went on explaining everything till the part that Micheal is also aware

"Thank goodness because I already told Kel"she said and I gasped

If she knew I was an assassin,she would have ratted me out to her lovey-dovey boyfriend

"You couldn't even keep my secret till am back,you just broke the besties code"I said giving her a hard glare

"I just couldn't lie to him,I can't afford to lose him"she said and I nodded

"No problem Mitchell it's over now"I said so she won't get sad

I gasped when I remembered I had a mission this night. I totes forgot about it

"Umm mitchelle have you eaten"I asked

"Nope I haven't even had my bath and I don't know why you even asked"she said rolling her eyes

" Nothing you know I always love eating with you"I said trying not to sound suspicious

I smiled bashfully

Umm whatever,I will just go take my bath now

I covered her with the duvet

I slipped into my ninja outfit,boots and hairnet before jumping out from the window

I entered my car and dropped at connan

I looked around and saw that the place was really dry. It seems no soul lives here but the lights in all the buildings were on

Well that's the bigman life

I released the spikes in my shoe and climbed the high walls before jumping in

I saw the dogs roaming around

Oh oh

These dogs are really cruel

I shot at the two dogs simultaneously and they groaned in pains

Well they are not dead now but won't be able to chase me around

I entered his rooms through his window and met him and his family watching TV in his room

Oh how sweet

I coughed slightly and they turned to look at me and fear gripped them

The children already started crying and it kind of stung my heart for the very first time

"Say goodbye to Daddy say goodbye to your darling husband"I said firing bullets on him and their wails intensified

I heard a siren outside

I slid out of the building and the first police I saw was him
