Mitchell's POV

I shuddered as I opened the door

Lo and behold it was Miranda

The girl I was looking for a while ago

She was holding a small bag and her hair was tied

"Where have you been or rather where did you go to this early"I asked

"Can I have a glass of water first and can I get in first"she said in a pleading tone

I sighed as I got out of the way

She has a lot of explanations to do

She sat down as I went to get her a glass of water

I looked at the time

Thank God there is still an hour to spare

I walked back to her as she was removing her hair tie

"I went to church Mitchell"she blurted out and I didn't know when I started laughing

Pathetic lie

I looked at her face but there wasn't a funny look there

Huh

I stopped laughing immediately

"Please no jokes Mira,be serious where were you at the early hours of the morning"I said

"I believed you heard me,I went to church a night vigil precisely or is there anything wrong with that "she said and stood up limping towards the sink

"What happened to your leg "I asked bending down to check

"It's an accident,a tricycle almost ran over me but I was lucky to escape "she said dropping her bag down

"Oh mine but the injury looks like a gun shot"I said eyeing her

"Did you get robbed Miranda ,tell me the truth"I said sitting down

"Fine I was robbed,I don't want you been worried that's why I didn't call you"she said and I gasped

"Were you hurt except the leg"I asked

"Nah,we need to shower so we can leave on time "she said and I nodded

"You go first"we both said at the same time

"Go in first ,I need to relax abit "she said and I nodded

I peeled my clothes off and was Stark naked

"Pervert"I heard her mutter and I laughed

"Save your nudes for Kel"she yelled and I laughed at loud getting in the bathroom

Miranda's POV

I sighed in relief as I took the Ninja outfit I had hung by the corner of the window

I hid it as usual and checked my legs

Sam said it would heal up in a few days

He also gave me pain relievers

And speaking of why I came late

I lost track of time

After I shut my eyes to sleep when I opened it again it was already morning

Broad day light

So I had to come up with all these lies because I knew Mitchell would be awake and I will have a lot of questions and interrogations to answer

And as you can see I answered alot

"Am done"I heard her say and I nodded

I walked Into the bathroom

"Miranda why can't you take of your clothes in front of me,we are both females "I heard her whine

Mitchell and her crazy thoughts

I am.not used to taking of clothes in the presence of people

And a lot of whips and gun scars were on my body

Not that am disfigured but the marks are there

I washed myself clean and came out and found Mitchell already dressed and making coffee for us

I walked to the wardrobe and picked a casual outfit comprising a blue jean and a top and a jacket

Since am not working at ma'am Bonna I think the outfit is nice

"Miranda am off to work,am already late"Mitchell said and I nodded

"Ok dear ,will be leaving also in less than fifteen minutes "I said

"Send my greetings to Kel and also send my greetings to Micheal"she said winking at me as soon as she said Micheal.

Huh what is wrong with her

Mitchell and her ways

I finished dressing up and picked my bag counted some cash and was about leaving when I remembered something

Am supposed to move in with Michael today

I totally forgot to tell Michelle

I brought out my bag and started folding some clothes inside

Will come back for the rest during the week

Kel's POV

"What sort of assassin is this ,is she a spirit or what,I think the CIA boss should give these mission to another team and find something less time consuming for us so I can have time to be with Mitchell"I rasped ruffled my hair

"What are you saying Kel, giving the assignment to another team ,that shows we are incompetent"Michael said ruffling his hair also

Boys with their hair

I sighed and sunk my fingers deeper in my hair

Till it was touching my skull

"We are going to get this assassin also, this is not the first time we would be capturing an unknown assassin ,and trust me once we get her we would be taking a vacation"he said and I nodded and hissed loudly

"Yeah a vacation is what we really need "I said and Michael chuckled

"I think am getting leads on her case"he said and I turned to look at him

"I got some drop of blood from the point of the operation"he said

"And I also got a finger print "he said and I nodded happily

"Why didn't you say it ,the best News I have heard today . Where's your cook Micheal?"I asked looking at the wall clock

He looked at his wristwatch

"She should be here in fifteen minutes "he said

"Let her hurry up and I missed her smile. I also need her coffee,it tastes heavenly"I said and he chuckled

"Don't tell me you are crushing on Mitchell's best friend, pathetic"he said and rolled his eyes

"None of your business , Chelle is the best thing I have ever had"I said and he chuckled

"That's what you said about Sonia, Arianna, Katie and urhmm I can't remember "he said and I chuckled

"Jerk"I muttered

"Mitchell won't leave me because of my job,I will make sure of that"I said and immediately the door bell rang

"Let's go get it "he said and I stood up to follow him

We walked down the stairs as the sound of the door bell could be heard again

Michael opened the door and a gasped escaped his mouth and the next thing I heard was BEAUTIFUL
