C52 The Experts Felt That He Was Even More Amazing!

Descending in the elevator, Black Dog eyed the youth before him, sensing an imminent volcanic eruption within the boy, poised to obliterate everything in sight.

He found it odd. The boy didn't look like he belonged to the criminal underworld. Where did such intense ferocity originate?

Regarding the elevator, he had anticipated a time-consuming search for the entrance. Surprisingly, aside from dealing with the guard at the elevator, there were no further delays.

The Northern Group made no attempt to conceal the entrance; it was boldly situated along the corridor. Indeed, the Northern Group had grown so large, it never occurred to them that someone would be foolish enough to provoke them.

"Ding."

The elevator had just two floor buttons and descended with remarkable speed.

As the doors slid open, Lee Yu narrowed his eyes. Outside, a formidable assembly of sixty to seventy men in suits stood ready, each brandishing a sharp weapon.

"Where did this yellow-haired kid come from? Daring to stir up trouble?"

The man in the lead was taken aback. He had just been informed by his brothers outside that they might be dealing with a brash new gang, not expecting it to be merely two individuals.

Since when had kids become so audacious?

"Where's the person you've taken? Hand them over!"

Lee Yu stepped out of the elevator, his demeanor calm, his demand forthright.

The man in the floral shirt scowled. "You've got the wrong place!" The Northern Group had long since abandoned such dealings. Where did this brash youth emerge from?

Yet, his bold intrusion warranted a bold response—he was ready to ensure they entered upright and left otherwise.

"Take these two down!" With a wave of his hand, his men surged forward.

Lee Yu wasted no breath on further words. With a swift motion, he charged into the throng.

Like a tiger leaping into a flock of sheep, he met no match. In mere moments, six or seven men lay toppled, immobilized.

"A martial artist?"

The leader was taken aback.

This wasn't mere brute strength at play. His men were no slackers, armed and dangerous, yet they hadn't laid a scratch on the youth.

"Go get Brother Leopard and the rest to come here!"

The leader clenched his jaw. The Northern Group didn't have many Fighters, but there was one right here, and he refused to believe that a mere youth could be all that formidable.

Even if this kid could take down the men before him, wouldn't he be spent? Then, facing his equals in combat, could there still be a chance for an upset?

Little did Lee Yu know that his adversaries were contemplating so much.

Yet, it was clear that the Northern Group wasn't on good terms with Black Dog's crew. The uniformity of their attire alone set them apart from Black Dog's ragtag bunch.

With tougher opponents, Lee Yu knew he had to subdue them quickly; any delay could lead to unforeseen complications.

With that thought, Lee Yu's strikes became swifter and more ferocious.

In moments, the ground was littered with men writhing in pain. He kicked aside a fallen machete and squinted at the man brandishing a blade.

The leader in the floral shirt looked around, realizing he was the last man standing, and swallowed hard.

"Don't come any closer!" he barked with authority.

"I told you, release the person you've taken, or else..." Lee Yu's voice trailed off with a hint of menace as he stepped on an arm blocking his path.

The man in the floral shirt watched, his face unflinching, as Lee Yu approached. "We really didn't take anyone..." But before he could finish, a thought struck him. Why hadn't the messenger sent for Brother Leopard returned?

If it were up to Black Panther, only one thing could delay his arrival...

Shortly thereafter.

They reached a secluded corner. The man in the floral shirt inwardly cursed; sure enough, his sent man was now at the door, his complexion shifting from pale to flushed. Inside, a cacophony of curses and a woman's sobs filled the air.

Lee Yu advanced swiftly, kicking the door open with a swift motion, his eyes scanning the interior.

A weight lifted from his heart.

Huang Xiu was fully clothed, while the middle-aged man before her was down to his underwear.

"Who the hell is this..." The middle-aged man, his cheek marred by a vicious scar, was cut off mid-sentence as he crashed against the wall.

The man in the floral shirt was stunned. It wasn't until the sound of a violent collision echoed that he realized the young man who had been beside him had vanished. He turned towards the source of the noise.

In that instant, Lee Yu was pinning down the Black Panther with his elbow, immobilizing him completely.

"Cough, cough!"

Black Panther coughed, blood spurting from his mouth and staining the pristine wall crimson.

An ordinary person would have had their neck snapped by such a blow. And even as a master of Covert Power, Black Panther had lost the majority of his fighting ability.

Who was this person?

Immobilized, he could only glance over with his peripheral vision, frantically trying to recall when he had crossed paths with such a formidable youth.

The face seemed so unfamiliar... Wait! Suddenly, it clicked. Wasn't this the other individual from that photograph?

Then, a voice that sent shivers down his spine reached his ears.

With a cry laced with tears, Huang Xiu called out, "Yu!"

It was indeed the person from the photo.

In that moment, realization dawned on him, followed swiftly by an overwhelming sense of dread. What kind of mess had he gotten himself into?

Just a few days prior, he had agreed to a job from a regular client to rough up a couple of kids. Having been with the Northern Group for a long time, he didn't think much of it and delegated the task to his underlings, using his boss's authority.

Though often driven by his desires, he wasn't foolish. He always did his homework to avoid tangling with the wrong people. As one of the few respected martial artists in the organization, he was confident in his boss's backing.

But as the saying goes, if you always walk by the river, you're bound to get your shoes wet.

Now, he had hit a wall, and not just any wall—an aircraft carrier-grade wall.

"Don't worry, you're safe now," Lee Yu reassured her with a gentle smile, calming Huang Xiu's frantic nerves.

He knelt down and began to untie the ropes binding her.

"It's all a misunderstanding!" Black Panther blurted out in desperation.

Lee Yu had turned his back to him, but the thought of fleeing never crossed Black Panther's mind.

To the untrained eye, Lee Yu's movements were graceful and captivating, but to someone who knew better... all they could say was that he was downright impressive.

With that recent display of skill, he wouldn't reach that level even with an extra decade of training.

And considering Lee Yu's youth, coupled with his formidable strength, who would believe he doesn't have powerful backing?

Inwardly, Black Panther unleashed a tirade of curses at the old customer, starting with his parents and going back through his ancestry.

After calming Huang Xiu for a moment, Lee Yu finally stood up, though Huang Xiu was still somewhat frightened, clinging to the hem of his garment.

Lee Yu's gaze was icy. "Speak up, who gave you the orders?"

"I... uh..."

Black Panther faltered.

It wasn't that he was unwilling to reveal the information; the old customer was like a shadow, elusive. He knew nothing about them. The customer was prompt with deposits and final payments, never defaulting, which had quelled his curiosity about their identity.

Wouldn't pressing further risk alienating a client known for their generosity?

Just then, a commotion erupted outside the door.

Lee Yu glanced over to see the entrance besieged by a crowd. Leading them was a man in his fifties with a benign countenance, yet wrapped in an aura of menace.

His entourage sported conspicuously bulging waistlines.
