C17 Run away from Home

The rain was getting heavier and heavier. When Qin Shichen ran down the stairs, his anxious look made the security guard not feel shocked. What happened to the chairman?

Qin Shichen almost shouted as he asked who saw Chu Ge. Chu Ge's last expression made him worry.

Where did his Chu Ge go? Qin Shichen was a bit annoyed with himself for his actions today, since all the companies in the banquet had arrived today, and the company was looking for a girl to accompany him, but that woman was waiting for the elevator and didn't like it. Qin Shichen didn't care about this, and he didn't reject most of the girls' offers, but this time, he was hit by Chu Ge. He also drove out to find it, ignoring the rain and carrying an umbrella.

There was no trace of Chu Ge in the pedestrians. Qin Shichen patted the handlebars of the car hard. The rain outside was getting heavier and heavier. As a girl, she didn't know if she had an umbrella or not, and didn't know if she would be able to hide. The security guard said that when he saw her stopping a taxi, Qin Shichen thought Chu Ge had gone home. He immediately turned around and drove towards his home in an unprecedented hurry.

Chu Ge didn't go home. She squatted on the ground and looked back. Her vision was blurred by tears or the rain, but there was nothing familiar about her.

It was so cold that she was numb and trembling. After squatting for a long time, she stood up unsteadily and staggered to her feet. A kind-hearted passerby helped her up: "Hey, little girl, why aren't you going home?"

Chu Ge lowered her head without saying a word. The passerby covered her head with an umbrella and continued to ask with concern, "Where are your parents? "Why are you still running out in the rain? Hurry up and go home, it's not good to let it thunder later."

As she said that, she hailed a taxi. Chu Ge finally raised her eyes to look at the kind-hearted passerby. The passerby was a kind-looking aunt. "Let's go home, ha-ha." He then said to the driver, "Take the little girl home."

The door closed and Chu Ge sat inside, watching the rain fall on the window. For a long time, the driver didn't see Chu Ge give him the address, so he asked, "Where is the little girl going?"

Where to? Chu Ge didn't know where she should go. The address that she had been familiar with for the past five years seemed to be drenched by rain. She said it slowly.

Closing her eyes, Chu Ge's face was wet with tears. This time, she felt her own tears and the loneliness in her heart.

The moment he opened the door, his teacher, Josh, couldn't help but be surprised when he saw Chu Ge, who was drenched all over. When she heard the doorbell ring, she was also surprised who would come to the house today, but she didn't know it was Chu Ge, who had left at noon.

"Chu Ge?" Josh said in surprise, and in the next second he let her in. "Come on, you're soaked. Come in quickly. Be careful you don't catch a cold." Josh took a dry towel and wiped Chu Ge's hair. "Ling, go to the bathroom and turn on the hot water."

Chu Ge watched blankly as Mrs. Josh, who was busy for her sake, suddenly hugged her and cried out in pain. Josh just felt his heart ache and didn't know what was going on. He turned around and patted her on the shoulder to comfort her. "Go take a bath first and change your clothes. Otherwise, it'll be bad if you catch a cold." Finally, Chu Ge consoled Josh by going into the bathroom to take a bath. She changed into a clean set of clothes, which looked a little too small for Chu Ge. She was about the same age as Qin Ge, but slightly different in size.

Chu Ge's eyes reddened. Clearly, she was crying again.
