MRS Jane

“Wait let me get you clear love, do you mean you are not Adelyn Henderson my son's model Fiancee?”

I asked and she nodded.

“What?”

“This is really confusing so if you aren't Adelyn Henderson then who are you?”

I asked, looking at her suspiciously but instead she smiled.

Does she ever stop smiling at all and i most say she is a very pretty lady and lovely too I just wish my son's so called Fiancee be at least a little bit like this lady.

“My name is Adelyn Henderson and I am a pancake girl from Las Vegas but unfortunately my nanny and the only relative I have fell sick so I had to come over to California for a job appointment.”

She said and immediately Zoey came and sat down beside her.

“What do you mean by your nanny and the only relative you have?”

Evan asked.

“Actually my parents abandoned me in the hands of my nanny and since then they never came back for me nor paid child support. It was all my nanny's struggles that gave me a good life that I was living.”

She replied, making Zoey lay her head on her laps and to my surprise she did.

I was very surprised because Zoey would never allow anyone to do that to her including her daddy.

A smile appeared on my face immediately and I made a decision of my own. I am not gonna let this girl out of my house. She might be the one to change my grandchild.

“What??? You mean to say your biological parents abandoned you in the hands of your nanny for like how many years if i may ask?”

Emily asked.

“I was actually a year old when they left me and now I am 22 so for like 21 years now.”

She replied.

“And you are still bearing their name huh?”

Evan asked if I was just confused how my two children can be so free with a lady like this and the one that baffles me the most is that Zoey is actually sleeping on her laps.

“No i am not answering their name according to my nanny i should be answering Adelyn Scott but I always knew my nanny was scared that one day my parents will come back to take me away from her so i started answering her name Adelyn Henderson.”

She said.

“How is your nanny's health now?”

I asked and she smiled.

I wonder who will still have a smile on her face after going through what this lady went through...

“I actually paid for her surgery through my pancakes sells.”

She replied.

“Now let me ask you what's the name of the person who invited you to California for a job appointment?”

I asked.

“His name is Mr Anthony.”

“Whatttt???”

We all shouted in union.

“Why are you guys shouting? Do you guys know him?”

She asked, looking confused.

“My dear count yourself as a lucky person because Mr Anthony is a man who the police have been looking for, for a long time now he goes around deceiving innocent and helpless girls that he is giving them a job appointment but he actually forces them to go into prostitution.”

“What?”

She half screamed.

“Yes Adelyn and the police arrested him today so to me you really have to consider yourself a lucky person.”

Evan said and she smiled almost in tears.

“I guess you don't have anywhere to go right?”

I asked.

“Yes I don't and the worst part is that I am also new in California.”

She replied.

“I know my son is gonna get really angry when he sees you but i am his mother and he listens to me so i will convince him to let you stay until you get a job and could take care of yourself here in California.”

“Are you a graduate?”

I asked

“No I am not but I am good with computers. Just call me a computer wizard, I don't mind.”

She said and we all bursted into hilarious laughter.

“You three should go to the kitchen and prepare dinner. Evan and Emily are used to preparing nonsense so I am counting on you Adelyn.”

I said and she smiled.

“No need to worry, my lady, relax , dinner will be done in no time.”

She replied in a British accent.

She carried Zoey to her room with the help of the twins before they went to the kitchen.

I just hope Hayden wouldn't be so angry when he finds out that another Adelyn Henderson is at his house.

I am scared because Hayden can be an idiot when he's angry and he can do so many things and when I mean many I mean many stupid things.

I just hope he doesn't hurt Emily when he returns and finds out she took another lady instead of his so-called Fiancee.

Emily used to be Hayden's favorite and he can't hit her for anything in the world but everything changed when she started dating Adelyn Henderson.

Hayden started ignoring his family because of a rude spoiled brat. I just can't wait to see her actually because I really want to know the reason why she's wearing a mask.

That's why I have always had love for ladies from poor backgrounds. Unlike some mother's that call them gold diggers I actually call them well mannered ladies.

I am from a poor background and i wasn't a gold digger so i don't call others one.

Although I am very scared of what Hayden is gonna do to Emily because that's where he's gonna transfer his anger to.

Sometimes I wonder where my son really is because the Hayden I gave birth to I no longer recognize him nowadays.

I just hope he doesn't give me high blood pressure all because of his rude mannerless Fiancee.

Sometimes I wonder what my son saw in her even though her own mother asked me to stop my son from marrying her daughter.

God please help me out of this.
