The next morning when Amada opened his eyes he had a slight headache.

Xhenia was sitting on the sofa reading a book.

What time is it already? He asked with a dry throat.

Good morning sleepy head, it is still very early. It's dark outside.

She reached out to find her cellphone📱 to check the time. But her cellphone was missing.

Do you have my cellphone📲?

No. I don't have it.

Amada checked and searched his pockets and he only found his own cellphone.

It's 4am.⌚

But where is my cellphone.?She could t understand .

She remember sending a message to grandma to tell her bout the treatment that went well. Grandma Lucy called back because Xiomara wanted to speak to her mommy.

I'm so Confused🤔. I'm sure I left my cellphone📱 on the bedside table last night

Amada got up and checked under the bed under the pillows. He checked everywhere. But he couldn't find the phone.

Nurse Nina walked in to check up on Xhenia. She started routine checks of all the patients in her ward.

Good morning, you up so early in the morning is everything ohk?

Xhenia looked at her and nodded that all is in order. But she couldn't help thinking that this nurse is too much.

Nurse Nina left the room, but when she looked back she gave a suspicious smile.

Xhenia, looked at Amada who is still busy looking for the missing cellphone. Have you tried calling my number.

He took out his phone and dialed the number.

"The number you have dailled is not available"

It went straight to voicemail.

Xhenia sighed, sitting back in the bed. In my entire life I have never ever lost a cellphone.

Are you sure you left it on the bedside table?

Yes I'm sure.

Ohk I will have to check with front desk. Maybe they know something.

When was the last time u had your phone.

Uhm I think between 8 or 9 later.

OK I'm sure there must be video footage of who is entering our room and going.

Xhenia opened the curtains while the morning sun made its way into the room.

She heard The sound of a trolley and knew breakfast will be served now. Amada will have to go the cafeteria because Xhenia just realised how hungry she is.

The kitchen staff was very friendly and helpful.

I'm nightshift mam' my shift only ends at 7am.

The kitchen lady was a little confused about all these questions mam is asking her .

Nope, can't think of something now, sorry mam.

While Xhenia was eating the doctor came walking in.

Oh u already having your breakfast?

Xhenia frowned and thought to herself. This nurse Nina, something just don't sit right with her.

Just then the doctor walked out. He Made a gesture with his hands that he will come back later.

Just than Amada came in. His breakfast was steaming and smelled delicious.

While he was eating, Xhenia went to take a bath.

When she came out. She felt so sleepy and thought it's maybe she woke up too early.💭💭💭💭🌸

What's the doctor taking so long. Amada asked and he was a Little agitated. He still had to go to the company to see if everything is running smoothly.🏃🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️Before spending the day with Xhenia and xiomara. He planned to take them to the zoo.

Xhenia was laying on the bed, and not before long she was fast asleep.

Amada looked at her. Thinking about where her phone could be.

He took out his phone again and dailled the number again.

"The number you have dailled is not available"

It went straight to voice mail..

He covered Xhenia with a soft fur blanket. And left the room to make a business call.

After he dropped the call he turned around to see Nina standing behind him. Her face was dull and he thought maybe it's because she worked nightshift. She may be tired.

He looked at her and with his hands in his pockets he asked her.

This is a very porche hospital. The best there is. That is why i brought my wife here for the treatment. Cause I trust this hospital because of the reviews. But my wife's"cellphone went missing.

This hospital doesn't have thiefs as far as I know. We select the best staff for the hospital and we do in detail crim checks. You sure your wife didn't just misplaced her cellphone?

Amada your wife is sick. She's not the same anymore. One of the symptoms is. forgetfulness. The medical term is Lupus fog its a general name for the cognitive impairments that often appear with lupus, including concentration and memory problems, confusion, and difficulty expressing yourself. As He helped her up she threw her arms around his neck. Trying to hold on as if she couldn't stand up straight.

Amada🏃‍♂️🏃‍♂️ ran back to the room to see if Xhenia was still asleep.

When he saw that she was still very much asleep he ran back to help Nina get home.

You're sure u don't need an ointment or bandaid for your ankle.

I'm a nurse, I have everything at home.

He helped her out to his car and onlookers was very enquisitive to what was happening.

When they stopped Infront of Nina's apartment. He helped her to her couch.

As Amada turned to open the door he heard a loud bang sound. When he turned around Nina was laying on The floor in pain.

My ankle my ankle. I fell down when I tried to stand up

Please check in the cupboard there's painkillers and a ointment.

Amada went to the kitchen.

Opened all of the cupboards to gett a glass to pour water.

He gave her 3 painkillers to drink. He Helped her up on the couch.

And while he tried to help her back on the couch, Nina wrapped her arms around Amadas neck. And buried her mouth close to his neck. Leaving a lipstick mark on the collar of his shirt.

Ohk there you go. Is there anything else you need.

Will u please make me breakfast.

Uhm. Ohk. I dnt know what to make or how to even cook.

U can just boil water and make me cup a soup it will do.

Amada sighed. And thought to himself what the heck did I Get myself into.

When he made the cup a soup. He put it close to her. Pl Ease don't burn yourself. I really have to go back.

Nina nodded as if she was satisfied. Yet looked little sad when he said he must go.
