C4 The deal

Pearl took her bag pack and started walking out of the music class when someone held her shoulder and pulled her back. She frowned and turned to look at the person, but it was an unfamiliar face. She glared at him and smacked his hand off her shoulder.

"Who the fuck are you?" she asked, clenching her fists.

"Easy easy i am just a friend I mean you no harm I just want to chat with you." The guy stated.

Pearl looked at him with her head held high.

"Sorry, I don’t talk to strangers." She shrugged and tried to walk away. He ran after her and stood in front of her.

"I am sorry my bad, I forgot to introduce myself. My name is Martins I am the captain of the football team, your beauty is out of this world, how can a girl be this beautiful? You are an angel sent from heaven." He said with a grin.

Pearl rolled her eyes.

"I get a lot of things to do, nice to meet you, by the way, I gotta go." She stated there to get him to move away.

"Where if I may ask." He beamed.

"To the cafeteria of course I am hungry bye see ya." She push him out of the way and walked away.

"Hey! Pearl wait up I can accompany you!" He yelled lifting up his hand. she turned back to look at him and smirked.

"Thanks for the offer I don't need your help I am not a baby." She scoffed.

She walked to the cafeteria and walked inside. All the students started staring at her. She took a tray and started queuing to get food along with the other students. She was using her eyes to look for Nicole.

After standing for minutes, it was her turn. She demanded eggs and beacon and also took an apple.

She looked around the cafeteria and sat in an empty seat next to the famous guys' lounge. She took the apple and started eating it, when her eyes drifted to a painting on the wall. She started scrutinizing the painting.

Martins and Jace were sitting on the famous guys lounge, Jace was eating while Martins relaxed on his chair with his eyes never leaving Pearl.

"Hey dude you must have heard of Pearl?" Martins inquired staring at Jace, he drop his spoon in his food and look up at him with his mouth full with food.

"Huh? Pearl who?" he asked absentmindedly.

"That girl over there, isn’t she beautiful? I heard that she is rich and her dad owns a lot of businesses and also the famous shopping mall." Martins declared, using his head to point at Pearl. Jace looked at her, crewing his food.

"Really? She sure is beautiful, but I am here to study, not to date anyone." Jace replied and started eating.

Martins chuckles.

"Who says you can date her, you don't stand a chance when Henry is around you are just using studies as an excuse." Martin shrugged.

"Who does Henry think he is, he can't get any girl when I am around. I don't need to brag, but all the girls I have ever liked, like me back." Jace declared, flexing his muscles and making the female students drool over him.

"Hmm, if you say so, but I don't think Pearl is easy to get."

"Why do you think that is she a princess or what?" Jace inquired with his mouth hanging loosely.

"Ok, man, if you think you can get her, go for it."

"Why should I?" Jace asked raising a brow. Martins tap him on the shoulder.

"Let's place a bet." He declared.

"On what? Stop beating around the bush."

"All you do is ask stupid questions and the answer is right in front of you, prove to me that you can get anything you want, here is the plan get Pearl to fall madly in love with you and at the last minute break up with her." Martins declared Jace chuckles.

"There is nothing too small or too big for me I will get the job done, but what will I gain by breaking her heart?"

"Your reward is that I will make you the student captain instead of Henry. You can finally take your revenge on him, is that a deal?" Martin muttered.

"Deal, that's more like it, now check this out." Jace stated, and got up from the chair. He stroked his hair backwards and stared lustfully at Pearl. who was eating peacefully.

He walked over to her and sat in a chair next to her. She stared at him and got up immediately. Leaving her food, she was about to walk out of the cafeteria when Jace put his leg in her way. She didn’t see his leg and stubbled over it. She fell flat on her face, and all the students started laughing.

Jace stood up and tried to help her. He extended his hand to her. She looked up at him and frowned.

"Give me your hand, Miss." he said with a toothy smile.

"Arrgh." She grunted in pain and managed to get up on her feet. She gave him a dagger eye and stomped out of the cafeteria.

Jace opened his eyes wide in surprise and walked over to Martins.

"Did you just see what happen she completely ignored me, me! Jace I am getting that girl at all cause dude." Jace declared. Hitting his chest.

"Now that's the spirit, so come on, let's go to our VIP lounge. I have something to tell you, a plan to get Pearl to fall for you." Martins stated, and put his hand around his shoulder. Jace smiled widely at him.

"Ooh guy you are something else let's go." Jace beamed.

They both finished scheming and left the cafeteria with a lot of girls behind them drooling over Jace.

Hours later it was closing time all the students have started going home.

Pearl was standing at the entrance of the school waiting for her driver when, she saw Nicole.

"Hey girl, I didn’t see you in the cafeteria." Pearl muttered.
