C7 Jealousy

"Oh Pearl, I'm so sorry I didn't recognize your voice sooner. Why were you not in school today? I missed you and your angelic voice. I want to see you again. I long for your love and affection. My princess, I need a reward." He stated. What the fuck did he just say all those things? Or am I dreaming he is too cheesy.

"You are such a drama king. You make me smile after what happened yesterday, I'm so grateful. I will sing a lullaby for you as your reward to make you sleep like a baby tonight." I muttered.

"Why will i want to hear a lullaby? Am I a baby?" he asked bluntly.

"No, but you will love it." I assured and started singing.

I sang for a few minutes and stopped because I was feeling sleepy myself.

"Jace! Jace." I called out, I think he is asleep I chuckled and hung up. Let me also go to sleep. I am happy I got to do something nice for Jace. I pulled the duvet over my body and drifted to sleep.

I woke up early in the morning, I dashed into the bathroom and stripped naked. I took my bath and tied a towel around my chest, when the door bell ring.

I think it’s the delivery guy. I took a robe and wore it as I walked to the door. I opened it and saw the driver. He handed me a bag. I took it from him and looked inside. It was the new set of uniforms I asked my mum to get for me.

"Go get dressed, Miss Pearl. I will be waiting for you." He stated, bowing slightly before walking away. I slammed the door and walked to my bedroom. I put on my uniform and put a red lip stick on my lip and ran to the door.

I sighted the driver waiting for me. I walked into the car and he drove off.

The car came to a halt in front of the school. I sighed and stepped out of the car. I adjusted my skirt and walked into the school. I can’t stop remembering what happened the other day as I walked into the school with other students who were making way for me to pass.

I was standing looking around for Jace, when Martin started walking towards me. What does he want again? I screwed up my face staring at him. He waved at me.

"Hello beautiful I was about to go attend class when I realized that the most beautiful girl in the world was standing over here." He said, smiling widely. How cheesy. I thought lifting my upper lip in disgust.

"You have started your rhymes this morning. Perhaps have you seen Jace?" I asked bluntly. I didn’t know when the word escaped my mouth.

"I just talked to him, why are you asking about him and not me? I know he is an actor. He will want to make an entrance." He replied.

"Really? I will be happy to experience the entrance." I muttered and started walking towards the school gate. I stood at a corner.

"Isn't that the girl Jace saved yesterday? Wow, my Jace is such a hero. I adore him. She seems to be waiting for Jace." One of the students stated.

"Yeah just look at her she is so adorable and lovable she is created for guys like Jace not us, it's not our fault that we are ugly that he can't even notice or say hi to us." Another one added.

A Ferrari drove into the school, Jace stepped out of the car, followed by two bodyguards, he was wearing white sneakers, and one of the bodyguards was arranging his hair with a brush. He gazed at me and started walking towards me, he was grinning uncontrollably and his dimples were exposed. so cute.

"Wow you look stunning i can't take my eyes off you." He beamed.

"Whooo." The students squealed.

"Hi Jace I like your appearance you look dashing, anyway what did you think about my reward?" I inquired.

He blushed and stroked his hair back shyly.

"I loved it. I slept so well. That's why I came late to school. I couldn't stop thinking about your miraculous voice. Since when did you start singing?" He asked. I am glad he did.

"Thanks Jace, since I was five."

"I could introduce you to a few people that could make you a famous musician." He stated, putting his hand in his pockets.

"Oh thanks, but I don't want to accept any help from you, you have done more than enough for me." I muttered, grinning.

"I offered to help you, you shouldn’t have felt that way."

"It's alright I have to go to class, see you around." i stated and started walking away.

"What's up pearl is that all you want to tell me?" Jace asked I turned to look at him and waved.

"Yea, bye!!"

I arrived in music class, I joined the other students playing musical instruments and started playing the piano, something I learned from my dad.

The teacher walked into the class, but this time we didn’t stop. We were lost in the music. Mr Josh walked up to me and started giving me attention. He stood beside me, watching me play.

"I don't mean to be disrespectful, but you are only teaching Pearl and not us." A girl stated, ho the fuck is she?

"Omg what is Ruth doing? She has the nerves to say that." One of the students stated so her name is Ruth. I narrowed my eyes at her.

"Yea, I am paying attention to her because she says she needs my help, unlike you, who said you don't need my help." He shrugged.

"When did I say that?"

"So you don't remember?" he inquired.

"The other day, you were playing the violin, I offered to help, and you said you didn’t need my help." He stated unequivocally

"Yes, she did." Henry supported. She screwed up her face.
