Soon, it was the old professor's birthday. Myra told her that they would go together, so Jeannette and Alton went downstairs together.

Alton was already waiting for them downstairs. Just as Jeannette was about to say something, the phone in her bag rang. She took it out and saw that it was Phyllis calling.

Phyllis told her to change something on the other end of the line. She said it was urgent. Jeannette did not hesitate and said it was not convenient to go out now. "Is it really necessary to go now?" Phyllis asked.
