……Andrew was still agitated, he saw that the man had just bumped into Valerie had halted and he didn’t hold back his words and displeasure “Common man you could’ve at least watched where you were going” The man walked up close and revealed himself, He was a tall man with wide broad shoulders and a strong jawline, he has intimidating brown eyes that highlights his dark hair, he paid no attention to the angry man holding the girl he had just bumped into, his focus was on the girl herself there was something about her that made him want to stare all day.

He was in a hurry to an impromptu meeting and he hated tardiness but he could stand here all day and stare at the girl, Carson couldn’t fathom why he was so interested in her, he had met other women but none were like her, he raised his finger and wanted to get more info out of her but his assistant came rushing and reminding him there were going to be late but he just stood there staring glaringly at Valerie, Andrew got tired of waiting for an apology so he just took Valerie inside “common Valerie let’s go” he took her by the hand and led her inside.

Oh Valerie so that’s her name, such a beautiful name, his assistant called out to him again “Sir we’re going to be late sir” Benson is a very hardworking man he is very dedicated to his job he has unique red hair and wears glasses that make him appear too serious, handsome too but he always goes unnoticed when he stands close to Carson his boss, well this time Benson’s call finally jogged the memory of his boss he was about to leave and he saw Valerie’s purse on the floor and he thought to himself well what are the odds it must have fallen off when I bumped into her, delicate and beautiful I hope I didn’t hurt her, he bent over and picked it up and walked towards where his car was parked, he went over and his driver opened the car door for him while Benson got on the other side.

They didn’t particularly have a typical boss-and-employee relationship they only kept it professional when it came to work but they were more like friends outside the work field, When they started moving Benson ran over the details so he’d know who exactly called for this meeting and why he, “One of the biggest shareholders for one of your law firms is threatening to pull out” Carson looked uninterested as his mind kept wandering off to the girl he had just met tonight, he replied “now why’s that”

Benson could see that his mind wasn’t completely focused on the current issue and he wondered why, Carson was a workaholic he had dedicated his life to success that’s why he’s a renowned billionaire but seeing him acting off was surprising but he answered him regardless “I don’t know his reason but that’s why he asked for this meeting” Carson turned and looked Benson in the eye, oh those eyes, it could disorient a person quickly but Benson has gotten used to it over the years and he said, “which one?” Benson however couldn’t give a definite answer “It was an anonymous call” He said.

Carson knew they have to be more reasons why Benson agreed to this meeting it was more of an emergency and before he could say anything Benson said “he’s threatening to go to the media, he said he has some dirt on you” Carson chuckled at what Benson just said, people knew better than to threaten Carson “this will be interesting”.

They arrived at a bar but it was deserted, they couldn’t find any other person except the driver sitting in a car at the far right corner, Carson walked in first followed by Benson, He could make himself known just by stepping into a room, his aura retains a sense of intimidation, he walked into a room and saw a man standing behind the counter, the man could feel his presence and without turning back he said “care for a drink”

Carson put on a smirk on his face he knew just who it was, it was Mr. Longe, he was always quite arrogant and he was the only one that could pull off this stunt but he feared Carson deeply, Well Carson wasn’t having any of it today and wanted to get right into business “so what’s the deal? What ‘dirt’ do you’ve on me?” Mr. Longe laughed and said confidently “I know knew you are embezzling funds from the firm and I will go public and yes that's a threat but only on one condition”.

Carson was quite intrigued by the assumptions of Mr. Longe

“How did you come about such information?” Mr. Longe took a sip from his glass of wine and said “I have reliable sources”, “Oh really? Carson sat down now making himself comfortable, “Yes I do and now you've made yourself comfortable, we can talk” Carson got irritated and he didn’t want to entertain Mr. Longe any longer but he felt the need to clear just one thing before he left “I know you’ve been stealing from the firm” Mr longe’s eyes widened from this revelation, he had been stealing but he thought he was sleek enough not to get caught, Carson continued “it’s all in the records, I wouldn’t mind if you withdrew yourself from the company’s shares cause you’ve done no good for the company” he was about to walk out and he added “make your findings and make sure your information is correct, i don’t ‘embezzle’ money, Infact check out my new project from one of your intels you’ll see why, he moved closer and Mr longe could feel his body shaking, Carson was such an intimidating man, it took a lot of courage to face him, He had a stare that could make the anyone feel helpless and he gulped and said “I-I’m so sorry sir, this misunderstanding will never repeat itself” with these apology Carson walked to his car with Benson who has been standing by corner watching the scene play out, They both got into the car and drove off.

Valerie and Andrew had a great time, She didn't know she would enjoy the date and his company this much Andrew paid and they were about to leave to head over to the car she stood up to grab her purse and a sense of panic ran through her spine, She quickly reacted “My purse isn’t here!”
