Daybreak.

Light seeped into the city, into every dark corner, and the buildings that slept in the shadows shone with warm yellow light in twos and threes, like sleepy children awakened from a dream.

In the east, a pale pink sunrise tore apart the barrier.

The sky water was the same.

Calm and distant.

The surroundings were filled with people coming and going
