C65 Little Fox Demon Have You Grown Up?
Just as Yuvyuv was about to turn around, a man's hand gripped her waist tightly. The sudden pressure made her gasp in pain, almost causing her to lose her grip on the handgun.
"Little vixen, what are you trying to do? Can't even hold a gun steady, and you think you can shoot someone, huh?"
The man's voice was deliberately low, as if he didn't want anyone to recognize him. Yuvyuv's back stiffened with fear. The man behind her, whose face she couldn't see and voice she couldn't identify, exuded a dangerous aura. As he spoke, his breath warmed her bare back.
This shameless jerk was doing it on purpose! He was blatantly taking advantage of her and even called her a "little vixen."
Yuvyuv was both angry and embarrassed. Being called a little vixen implied he didn't see her as a respectable woman. She wanted to kill this bastard for daring to take advantage of her and insult her.
Since her rebirth, apart from that scoundrel Huo Lingxiao, this was the first time someone dared to humiliate her like this. She tightened her grip on the Browning, ready to prevent the man from snatching it away.
Forcing herself to stay calm, she snapped at him, "Who are you? Do you even know whose daughter I am?"
"Oh, then why don't you tell me, which noble family do you belong to? If your status is truly high, I might just owe you an apology," the man behind the Ghost King Mask replied, his voice laced with a mocking smile.
His tone was clearly insincere, suggesting he didn't care who she was. It seemed this man held a high status himself.
Yuvyuv felt a chill of suspicion. Why did this man feel oddly familiar? Wait, what did he just call himself? He referred to himself as "master."
Suddenly, it hit her. Huo Lingxiao, that arrogant devil, always liked to call himself "master" in front of her. His entire demeanor was one of cold arrogance, as if he considered himself above everyone else, like a god waiting for people to worship him.
Tsk!
Yuvyuv thought of a certain domineering devil and couldn't help but roll her eyes.
Suddenly, she felt a chill down her spine and heard the man behind her speak in a cold, dissatisfied tone, "Little vixen, what are you thinking about? Daydreaming right in front of me—do you want me to do something to make you happy?"
The man's anger flared up without any warning or reason, his domineering presence leaving no room for her to gather her thoughts.
Yuvyuv realized she'd upset the man behind her and was about to retaliate when she felt a sharp bite on her back.
Ouch! That hurt!
Yuvyuv gritted her teeth in shame and anger. Damn it, she had been bitten by a wolf she couldn't even see, and it was right on her smooth back.
This was truly a wolf, the kind that would bite anywhere on a woman, whether it be her chest, mouth, or neck. But biting a woman's back? That was a new level of depravity.
She quickly assessed the man's vile behavior and was somewhat impressed by her own composure. She thought she must be going crazy.
"Pervert, try moving again, I dare you," Yuvyuv bristled like a porcupine, ready to strike the man behind her.
She quickly raised her gun, but the man behind her effortlessly disarmed her, placing it on the counter.
His cool breath carried an indescribable intimacy as it brushed against Yuvyuv's sensitive earlobe. "Little vixen, are you even of age?"
Alarm bells rang in Yuvyuv's mind, and she tensed up defensively. "Bastard, what do you think you're doing? I'm warning you, my dad and uncle are powerful. If you dare touch me, they won't let you see tomorrow's sunrise."
As her gun was easily taken from her, Yuvyuv was both shocked and trembling inside. She understood that the man behind her was too dangerous, and she was no match for him.
Just as she was trying to figure out how to escape, she heard the man whispering those intimate words in her ear.
She was scared.
She had planned to turn the tables tonight, to see what kind of trap the malicious woman at home had set and to counterattack. But before she could make a move, she found herself at the mercy of a wolf in disguise.
The man in front of her, wearing a Ghost King mask, had just taken a bite out of her, and not just anywhere—he had bitten her back. It was as if he didn't discriminate between meat and vegetables. If this wolf decided to let his instincts take over, she feared she wouldn't escape unscathed tonight.
Cold.
A chilling sensation crept through her heart.
"What’s wrong, little fox? Scared now?" The man's teasing voice carried an undercurrent of suppressed anger.
Huo Lingxiao, hidden behind the Ghost King mask, had a face that was already dark with fury.
This little troublemaker, running off alone to a place clearly meant for illicit rendezvous—did she really think it was fun?
Tonight, she was lucky it was him she encountered. What if it had been someone with bad intentions?
The more Huo Lingxiao thought about it, the darker his handsome face became, like a specter of the night.
He grabbed the slender waist of the woman in front of him, lifting her to face him, his breath hot with anger. "Why aren't you speaking? Answer me."
"Who... who are you?"
Ye Yuvyuv gasped as the man turned her around with such force, fearing he might actually do something to her.
But as she faced him, she could feel the inexplicable anger radiating from him, leaving her momentarily puzzled. Was this man angry with her?
Why?
What was he angry about?
Did they know each other?
Ye Yuvyuv was confused. She wanted to muster the courage to pull off his mask but didn't dare, fearing she might provoke him further.
Yet, she sensed something: this man, despite his intimidating presence, didn't seem to harbor any real malice toward her.
She wondered if this man, exuding the aura of a mature adult, might be someone she knew—perhaps one of her father's sworn brothers or their sons.
After all, her dad's cousins had always looked out for her. Especially when she was little and they had just moved away from the old neighborhood, her cousins would often take her out to play.
Ye Yuvyuv's big eyes shifted slightly, and she blinked softly, tentatively calling out, "Are you Cousin Ziming?"
"Chen Ziming? Who does he think he is?" A hint of annoyance flashed across Huo Lingxiao's face, hidden beneath the Ghost King mask.
"Then, are you Cousin Yuanhai?" Ye Yuvyuv was now certain that the man in front of her was someone familiar, probably one of her dad's sworn brothers' sons. But which cousin was he?
So, she cautiously asked again.
