C11 A Ruthless Plan to Kill Two Birds with One Stone!

Nianci felt something was off. Why hadn't her father asked what happened after she and her sister returned home? It was clear from their appearance that something significant had occurred. Yet, her father hadn't sought her out for an explanation. And now, standing right in front of him, he still showed no intention of asking?

“Dad, why aren't you asking what happened with Yuvyuv and me?” Nianci finally couldn't hold back her curiosity and asked.

Ye Mingyuan paused, holding his teacup. He looked up, his expression suddenly serious. “Nianci, this is something we must never speak of again. Once you step outside our home, you must not mention it at all. Even if someone asks, you mustn't say a word, understand?”

Nianci was taken aback.

Ye Mingyuan sighed deeply. “Nianci, you're old enough to understand that a girl's reputation is very important in this world. No matter what you and your sister went through last night, you're both safe now, aren't you?”

He paused, his voice choked with emotion. “What I can do for you is find out who was behind this and get justice for you both.”

“Dad, you know!” Nianci cried out, feeling wronged.

“Yes, Sixth Boy told me.” Ye Mingyuan glanced at his eldest daughter, wanting to reach out and pat her head, but realizing she was already eighteen, he refrained. Instead, his voice softened. “Nianci, go get some rest. I'll let you know when your sister wakes up.”

“Yes, Dad. I'll take my leave.” Nianci wiped her tears and nodded obediently, asking no more questions.

As she opened the door, her father's voice came from behind, “Nianci, don't be afraid. I'll protect you both. Anyone who tries to harm you is asking for trouble. They're messing with my heart, and they're as good as dead!”

Ye Mingyuan's voice carried a fierce determination.

Nianci turned around excitedly, "Dad."

"Go back to your room," Mingyuan said, glancing at his eldest daughter, who reminded him so much of his late wife, and waved her off.

12:00 AM.

In the largest bedroom on the third floor of the Ye family home, near the stairs, Yuvyuv slowly woke up.

She first moved her eyes, scanning her surroundings. Recognizing the familiar setting, she realized she was back in her room from twenty years ago, the room she had in her previous life.

It was the biggest among the siblings' rooms, complete with its own shower, decorated like a princess's room, all in pink—a shade so overwhelming it made her dizzy.

She pinched her thigh hard.

Ouch! That really hurt.

It seemed she had truly been reborn.

Thankfully, it wasn't too late to change things.

Last night, she saved her older sister, who hadn't met the same tragic fate as before. They hadn't fallen for the schemes of those who wished them harm.

In her previous life, they had been caught in a ruthless plan that took both sisters down. The schemers used her reckless nature to first harm her sister, making everyone in the city believe Yuvyuv was responsible for her own sister's demise. The worst part was that it turned her father's love into disdain.

Yet, despite everything, her father never actually kicked her out of the family. Even though everyone said her sister's death was her fault, he never uttered a word about disowning her. But after her sister's death, every look he gave her was filled with disappointment.

Disappointment!

Yes, her sister's death turned the father who had cherished her like a precious jewel, into someone who, until his dying day, looked at her with profound disappointment.

Yuvyuv recalled the look of disappointment in her father's eyes, and her heart ached with regret. She clenched her teeth, cold determination setting in. "Dad, I know I was wrong. If I get another chance, I promise I won't let you down again. I want to be the daughter you're proud of, the one you can boast about."

She wiped the cold tears from her cheeks with determination.

A memory flashed in her mind.

Before she fainted, she had seen the familiar pink pearl necklace around the neck of the Second Concubine.

Yuvyuv's expression darkened, and she gritted her teeth. "You ugly thief, how dare you wear my mother's things? You've tainted them, and I'll make you pay for it."
