C114 Ms Mei Appeared!

In the teahouse, next door in the private room, the scene was unsettling, almost too disturbing to look at directly. When Ye Yuvyuv and Ye Mingyuan reached the door that had been kicked down, they were met with a shocking sight.

The once cramped private room was now crowded with seven burly men. Each had a rough, intimidating appearance with thick eyebrows and muscular builds, glaring as if they were ready to attack. They stood menacingly behind a middle-aged woman. Two of the men, one on each side, held Wen Shixing, who had been dressed quite elegantly, as if he were a criminal, forcing him to kneel before the woman.

Wen Shixing’s shirt was nearly torn to shreds, leaving him looking utterly disheveled. The woman, around thirty, wore a silver-trimmed cheongsam embroidered with gold and silver petals. She had a voluptuous figure, a narrow waist, and a full chest. Her long hair was styled in large waves, and her striking features carried an air of allure. However, her expression was cold and murderous.

Her beautiful face was icy, and her pale hand, adorned with five gemstone rings, had long red nails that dug fiercely into Wen Shixing’s neck. Her hand resembled a claw, ready to take his life at any moment.

Across the round table, Ye Nianci was terrified by the scene. Her face was pale, her body trembling uncontrollably, and her large eyes were filled with fear. Her lips quivered, trying to speak, but no sound came out.

"Big Sis, don't be afraid. Dad and I are here." Yuvyuv quickly moved to stand beside her sister, her small hand warm and reassuring as she grasped her sister's trembling arm. She whispered softly, "With Dad here, no one will dare do anything to you."

Watching her sister shake with fear, Yuvyuv felt a pang of regret for bringing her here today. But if her sister didn't see the true colors of that jerk, Wen Shixing, she'd never be able to move on. Steeling herself, Yuvyuv didn't pull her sister away just yet.

She wrapped her warm hand around her sister's cold one, silently encouraging her to stay strong.

Mingyuan stood by the door, unmoving, his eyes cold and intense. He didn't say a word, but his sharp gaze was protective of his daughters. Earlier, his younger daughter had told him to watch a show, and it seemed this was the performance she wanted him to see.

Mingyuan was a man who had seen the world, familiar with both its grandeur and its darker sides. He remained still, his eyes fixed with disdain on Wen Shixing, who was forced to kneel on the ground. He wished he could end this scoundrel right then and there. But he held back, realizing this was likely orchestrated by his younger daughter. He had to respect her plan and see it through. He was curious to see what would unfold with this man on his knees.

"Slap!"

A middle-aged woman suddenly struck Wen Shixing hard across the face, her eyes blazing with a mocking fury. "What’s the matter, Shixing? After all these years, Ms. Mei searched high and low for you, missing you terribly!"

At the mention of "Shixing," his body jerked violently.

Ms. Mei's smile was grim as her long nails dug into Wen Shixing's neck, piercing the skin with a vicious grip.

Wen Shixing let out a pained gasp, trembling as he called out, "Ms. Mei!"

His pale face contorted with agony, eyes wide with terror and unable to meet Ms. Mei's gaze. His knees, forced to the ground, shook uncontrollably. Gone was the dashing young man from this morning; now, he resembled a frightened dog, eyes pleading with Ms. Mei, filled with disbelief and fear.

Never in his wildest dreams did Wen Shixing imagine he'd find himself back in the clutches of Ms. Mei, a woman as dangerous as a snake. Memories from two years ago flooded his mind, bringing back the shame of his past—once a kept man in a house of ill repute, later becoming Ms. Mei's boy toy.

His face turned a shade of purple at the recollection of those humiliating days. He thought he'd escaped Ms. Mei's venomous grip, but he never anticipated she'd track him down.

Even now, Wen Shixing struggled to believe Ms. Mei had pursued him. He had planned meticulously, first gaining her trust to fund his studies abroad. Though she sent him to a dubious college overseas, he managed to evade her watchful eyes and return home ahead of her plans.

He deliberately settled in the North, far from Ms. Mei's influence in the South, confident she wouldn't bother chasing a small fry like him across the country. After all, the North was beyond her reach, and finding him would cost her dearly in resources and manpower.

Ms. Mei was a savvy woman who knew how to manage her finances. Having already lent him money once, she wouldn't do it again.

Wen Shixing had everything planned out meticulously. He eventually found himself in Haicheng, the most prosperous city in the region. This city was bustling with businesses run by foreigners, offering plenty of opportunities to make money. People here admired modern thinkers, especially those who had studied abroad, as if they were coated in gold. Whatever they did, they were automatically celebrated.

Wen Shixing was thrilled, thinking, "This is where I should really make my mark." However, his idea of making a mark was still reliant on his good looks, which he used to deceive women, continuing his old tricks. This time, he reinvented himself as a sophisticated, overseas-educated elite.

Secretly, he connected with some local gangsters and managed to acquire a fake diploma that looked real. With it, he got a job as a teacher at a prestigious girls' school. He began searching for a wealthy heiress who could provide him with a significant amount of money. After careful consideration, he set his sights on the Ye sisters, Ye Yuvyuv and her elder sister, Ye Nianci.

Wen Shixing was nothing if not cunning. He discovered that the head of the Ye family was the Finance Secretary of Haicheng, controlling the city's financial power. He figured the Ye family must be incredibly wealthy. To ensure success, he decided it was best to pursue both sisters simultaneously. If one plan failed, he could still rely on the other.
