C120 I like to Hug You!

Ms. Mei pressed a hand to her chest, trying to calm herself down. She reminded herself not to be swayed by the casual words of a young girl.

After a moment, she spoke in a low voice, "Miss Yuvyuv, it's easy to talk, but business requires both investment and support."

"Ms. Mei, even the strongest support can crumble, and relying on others is risky. It's better to trust yourself," Yuvyuv said nonchalantly, glancing at the darkening sky outside.

Her words struck a chord with Ms. Mei.

After a pause, Ms. Mei took a deep breath and, with newfound sincerity, said, "Miss Yuvyuv, it's not convenient to discuss this over the phone. How about we meet in person?"

"Sure, next Sunday. I'll let you know the place," Yuvyuv replied, her eyes glinting with a hint of allure.

The call ended.

Yuvyuv placed two dollars next to the phone, then stepped out from behind the counter, thanking the salesgirl with a smile before leaving the bakery with her purchase.

The salesgirl noticed the two dollars by the phone and smiled to herself, thinking, "What a polite and charming young lady."

As Yuvyuv exited the bakery, she realized her car was missing. Instead, she was met with the sight of Huo Lingxiao, exuding an air of elegance.

Huo Lingxiao was leaning casually against the car, his long legs crossed, looking at her with a lazy yet handsome smile.

"Huo Lingxiao!" Yuvyuv exclaimed, more startled than if she'd seen a ghost. She thought he was supposed to be at the military base. Could he have returned so quickly?

Seeing him leaning against the car, her first instinct was to run. Her body reacted before her mind could catch up, and she turned to dash back into the bakery.

As she realized something was off, her body instinctively veered, and she sprinted toward the other end of the street. Before she could get more than ten feet, someone grabbed the back of her collar, lifting her like a kitten.

A chilling laugh echoed behind her, "Well, well, haven't seen you in a few days and you've learned some new tricks. Running away when you see me now?"

With amusement, Huo Lingxiao pulled her into his arms, adjusting the small woman who was curled up like a quail. His breath carried a hint of laughter, "So, not running anymore? Want me to let you go so you can try again, hmm?"

"Sixth Master!" Ye Yuvyuv was forced to look up, her big eyes wide and innocent as she gazed at Huo Lingxiao. "Sixth Master, weren't you supposed to be at the base? You're so busy with work, you shouldn't keep coming back to the city."

She was just being considerate.

Huo Lingxiao narrowed his eyes, lifting her chin as he looked at the little thing he'd been dreaming of holding tight for days. "You're a little heartless, aren't you?"

"What, hoping I'd never come back to the city?" Huo Lingxiao saw through her mischievous thoughts, grabbing her small hand firmly as he strode toward the car.

Before Ye Yuvyuv could say anything, he scooped her up and placed her in the car.

She was mortified to realize the driver was still in the front seat. She quickly nudged Huo Lingxiao, glaring at him in a whisper, "Put me down, I can sit by myself."

"Oh, but I like holding you..."

Huo Lingxiao's short hair was a bit tousled, as if he'd rushed back. The stray strands on his forehead added to his roguish charm. He lowered his voice, leaning close to Ye Yuvyuv's sensitive ear, "How about I be your sofa, comfy enough?"

Yuvyuv's face turned a deep shade of red as Huo Lingxiao leaned in, his cool breath sending a shiver through her heart.

Embarrassed and angry, she snapped, "You jerk!"

Huo Lingxiao laughed freely, his voice low and slightly hoarse, with a charm that could easily sway anyone. "My dear Yuvyuv, while I've been away, did you miss me? Be honest."

His hand, almost threatening, touched her back, his fingers rough and calloused from years of handling guns, tracing up her spine, making her shiver all over.

This jerk, he started teasing her the moment he got back.

She hated that she wasn't strong enough to escape this devilish man in front of her.

Helpless, she was on the verge of crying out from his teasing touch, her voice trembling with a hint of allure as she softly pleaded, "Please, don't do this."

She was utterly ashamed and furious.

How could he?

In the past, he wasn't like this.

Back then, he kept his distance from women, never allowing any near him, except for her, whom he kept around as if to repay a debt, training her like a demon.

Rumors spread that Huo Lingxiao was uninterested in women, sparking speculation about his preferences.

Yuvyuv even considered hiring someone to disgust him as payback.

But in the end, it was her, drunk, who threw herself at Huo Lingxiao, without any help.

She had pounced on the man revered as a godlike general, leaving him utterly defenseless.

Cough, cough!

Yuvyuv couldn't bear to recall that wild night.

It was too embarrassing to face anyone after acting like a lustful demon, pouncing on the usually aloof and proud Huo Lingxiao, tearing his clothes in her frenzy, like a woman possessed.

Oh, Yuvyuv felt the urge to hide her face. Her cheeks flushed a deep crimson as she recalled the passionate night, resembling a rich red wine, captivatingly beautiful.

Huo Lingxiao's dark eyes were fixed on his little companion, noticing the sudden, unusual blush on her delicate face. His throat went dry, and he had an overwhelming desire to kiss the enchanting little minx before him.

He took a deep breath, slightly regretting bringing his aide along. Leaning closer, he whispered into Yuvyuv's hair, his voice low and husky with a hint of desire, "My Yuvyuv, how old are you this year, hmm?"

Yuvyuv shivered, her heart racing. She sensed something was off with his mood. Turning back, she met his deep, mysterious eyes, as dark as an ancient pool, pulling her in like a powerful whirlpool.

She took a deep breath, quickly looking away, and answered quietly, "Eighteen, just turned." Deliberately, she added, "Even though I'm an adult, I'm still just a kid."

Huo Lingxiao's hand paused on Yuvyuv's back, his dark eyes contemplative, then he chuckled softly, "Nonsense, in the past, girls were considered grown at fifteen and could be engaged. By sixteen, they were ready for marriage. So, my Yuvyuv, you've been grown for a while now, and next year you'll be at the age for marriage..."
