C125 Little Demon I Want to Make You Mine!
Ye Yuvyuv's petite body reflexively jumped onto the chair, shoes and all.
Huangfu Sinan finally shouted ominously, "You little demon! This is my chair! Are you trying to disgust me to death?"
Ye Yuvyuv was stunned by the yell. It wasn't until she followed Huangfu Sinan's pale, bony finger pointing at her shoes that she realized...
Ugh, she couldn't bear to look. Her shoes had stepped into her own vomit, and when she jumped off the chair to avoid it, she had smeared it all over the chair.
Yet, Ye Yuvyuv felt no embarrassment or need to apologize. She blamed it all on Huangfu Sinan for scaring her. He was a crazy monster; if he hadn't frightened her, she wouldn't have been so terrified. Besides, she was feeling incredibly wronged. This monster was eating with a corpse, and he still had the appetite for it. He wasn't human.
Yes, he referred to himself in such a way that he admitted he was a demon, so he wasn't human. But Ye Yuvyuv thought, she was human. So, she needed to stay far, far away from this crazy monster. Otherwise, who knows, this monster might get excited and drain her blood, turning her into a corpse too.
Just the thought of it made Ye Yuvyuv shiver with cold dread.
"You, you, you stay back! I'm warning you, if you come any closer, I won't be polite..." Ye Yuvyuv had a sense of danger honed from past experiences. She knew the demon called Huangfu Sinan in front of her was very dangerous.
Moreover, he was armed with all sorts of menacing tools, like scalpels, knife handles, large curved needles, forceps, and hemostats. Any one of them could be a deadly weapon.
"Ha! Little demon, you dare threaten me on my own turf? You've got some nerve! Alright then, tell me, how exactly do you plan to be impolite to me?"
Huangfu Sinan's interest was piqued, and his smile was as captivating as it was mischievous. His eyes, with a dangerous glint, focused intently on Yuvyuv.
Yuvyuv felt an unsettling aura from him, as if he were a madman straight out of some otherworldly realm. Anger flared within her, and with a swift motion, she drew a Browning pistol, holding it steadily in her hand.
With the gun in her grip, she felt a surge of confidence and commanded coldly, "Step back, or you'll find out just how blind bullets can be."
Though he wasn't human, surely even a creature like him feared bullets, she thought, her mind racing. But in the next moment, he was behind her, showing no fear at all.
His movement was so quick that Yuvyuv couldn't react in time, but instinctively, she twisted her hand, pressing the gun firmly against Huangfu Sinan's lower back.
Her voice was icy, "Don't move. I'm only afraid of the dead, not the living. Try moving, and we'll see if my gun's faster than you."
Yuvyuv's calm in the face of danger kept her mind sharp. In this world, there was probably no one else, except Huo Lingxiao, who could disarm her.
Behind her, Huangfu Sinan hesitated, his hand poised mid-air, surprised that the girl had outpaced him.
It was unbelievable.
"Little Demon, you've got some skills. Who taught you?" Huangfu Sinan's eyes, sharp and narrow, scrutinized Yuvyuv's hand gripping the gun against his waist.
He noticed that her hand didn't look like one accustomed to handling a gun regularly. Yet, the steady and fierce calmness with which she held it was far from amateurish.
Most importantly, her reaction to danger was incredibly swift.
So swift that he was a beat behind her, even when she was startled and unsettled.
He was absolutely sure that the little demon's reaction just now was purely a natural instinct when faced with danger. Sinan marveled silently, thinking, "If this little demon were on full alert, I'd be a step behind."
Sinan's eyes gleamed with an eerie excitement as he exclaimed, "I've struck gold with this one. I must have this little demon."
"Easy now, little demon. I won't move, so don't scare me. I'm a bit of a scaredy-cat," Sinan said with a mischievous smile, his face enchanting in the light, almost bewitching.
Yuvyuv was momentarily dazzled, quickly jumping off the chair. She gripped the gun in her hand, ready to leave the eerie dissection room. But Sinan called out, "Hey, little demon, are you really going to run? Don't forget, you're my assistant now."
Yuvyuv froze, remembering she had just been assigned as an assistant to this strange doctor by the head of the forensic department. She wanted to quit, but feared the wrath of the Great Devil Leader, Huo Lingxiao.
Compared to Huo Lingxiao, Yuvyuv wasn't too afraid of Sinan. She felt confident that Sinan's skills might not surpass hers. At the very least, when she drew her gun, he hadn't reacted faster than her.
Thinking it over, maybe her reaction had been too extreme. Aside from being a bit of a madman, Sinan hadn't actually done anything to harm her. Oh, he had scared her by turning off the lights and grossed her out by eating next to a corpse.
Yuvyuv paused, reconsidering her decision to leave. She shot Sinan a cold glance and laid out her terms, "Don't scare me again, and don't try to gross me out on purpose. I'll be your assistant. Also, do you really have the skills to teach me?"
As she spoke, she sized up Sinan from head to toe, tilting her head with a look of serious doubt. Sinan was visibly annoyed. When he got angry, his fair complexion, even paler than a woman's, would flush with a hint of red, adding an even more striking allure to his already captivating presence.
Yuvyuv couldn't help but think, "This guy is truly a mesmerizing charmer. With looks like that, even women would be envious."
"Little Demon, from now on, call me Professor," Sinan said, pressing the intercom to call the hospital janitor to clean up the mess Yuvyuv had made earlier. He disdainfully picked up the chair, tossed it aside, and instructed the janitor to wash it thoroughly and return it only after it was dry. He made sure to emphasize that no one else should sit on his chair.
Yuvyuv couldn't help but roll her eyes. If you dislike it so much, why not just throw it away? And really, who cares about sitting in your chair anyway?
Sinan caught the disdain in Yuvyuv's large eyes. His tall, lean frame moved swiftly, positioning himself in front of her. As he reached out to inspect the hand holding the gun, he hesitated for a moment too long, giving Yuvyuv the chance to smack his hand with the gun. He exaggeratedly hissed in pain, but Yuvyuv was done entertaining this drama king.
