C130 Little Demon Was Not Afraid of People Not Living!

"Oh, go ahead and let them in. Anyone daring to cause trouble in a military hospital should expect a bullet first. It's not against the law."

Ye Yuvyuv's eyes narrowed with a cold glint as she looked at Sinan, her small hand deftly holding a Browning pistol. She patiently clarified, "I've said it before, I don't make antidotes, only poisons. It's just using poison to fight poison. Who knows if it might turn him into a real corpse?"

"You, little demon, aren't you afraid I'll tell Mo Jiuniang outside about your arrogance?" Sinan laughed mischievously, handing Ye Yuvyuv a bunch of black hellebore. "Add more of it. If he dies from the poison, Mo Jiuniang might tear you apart, you little poison girl."

Even Sinan, who considered himself worldly, was taken aback by the table full of poisonous plants and toxins. This girl's talk of using poison to counter poison wasn't just for show; she was genuinely making poison.

Moreover, the bottles and equipment, all standard for hospital experiments, were handled with ease, as if... Sinan's eyes flickered with suspicion.

He thought to himself, "The way this girl handles things, she's as skilled as a seasoned lab technician. Her fluid motions are not only proficient but oddly beautiful."

Sinan felt he must be losing his mind, thinking someone making poison could look so captivating. Calling her a "poison girl" was truly fitting.

Ye Yuvyuv couldn't be bothered with Sinan's theatrics. She wasn't afraid of this trickster anymore. He only liked to scare people when he was in his dramatic mode.

Half an hour later, Ye Yuvyuv used tweezers to pick up a pill, standing before the blue-faced corpse. She glanced at Sinan, "Have someone open the door and bring Mo Jiuniang in. This is her husband; she needs to be here, whether he lives or dies."

"Little Demon, aren't you afraid they won't survive?" Huangfu Sinan stood still, a flicker of worry crossing his eyes before vanishing.

"Weren't they brought in here as if they were already dead?" Ye Yuvyuv smiled gently, a smile so elegant yet, to Huangfu Sinan, deceptively cunning.

He thought to himself, "This Little Demon is truly sly. Let's see how I can guide you in the future."

Huangfu Sinan's almond-shaped eyes glinted with a strange light. He walked over, opened the door to the examination room, and pointed at Mo Jiuniang. "You, come in."

Mo Jiuniang was trembling with nerves, but she quickly responded and was about to enter when her uncles shouted from the side, "Why can this wicked woman go in, but we, her own family, can't? We want to go in too."

The two brothers were being restrained by a couple of police officers, unable to move. Earlier, when it was decided to "fight poison with poison" to save someone, they argued that disturbing the dead was disrespectful, insisting on stopping the process.

Ye Yuvyuv simply pulled out a gun, pressing it to one of the brothers' foreheads, and ordered the stunned officers to take them away.

The officers, aware of their surroundings in the military hospital and the authority Ye Yuvyuv held, complied quickly. After all, not many had a Browning pistol; even in their department, only the chief had one. The officers themselves were only equipped with standard revolvers.

So, following Ye Yuvyuv's command, they swiftly subdued the protesting brothers and pushed them outside.

Mo Jiuniang was led into the examination room by Huangfu Sinan. Ye Yuvyuv stood before the pale corpse, looking at Mo Jiuniang's eyes filled with a mix of tension and hope, and said calmly, "You still have a chance to change your mind. Whether to save or not is entirely up to you."

As she spoke, she gestured with the tweezers holding a deadly pill. "This pill is extremely toxic. It's meant for your husband to take."

Mo Jiuniang stepped closer, her lips trembling as she reached out to touch it.

Ye Yuvyuv was quicker, pulling back with a stern warning, "This is highly poisonous. Human contact means instant poisoning. Do you want to end up like your husband, laid out on this table?"

Ye Yuvyuv glanced at the corpse on the operating table, her expression icy and composed.

She wasn't trying to scare Mo Jiuniang; the pill in the tweezers was indeed lethally toxic. She didn't want to save one person only to poison another.

Mo Jiuniang, frightened, immediately withdrew her hand.

People naturally fear the unknown, especially something dangerous, and Mo Jiuniang was just an ordinary woman.

She first looked at her husband, lying on the bed with a bluish face, then nervously glanced at the pill in Ye Yuvyuv's tweezers.

Amidst the harsh and sharp curses from two uncles outside the door, Mo Jiuniang trembled as she spoke, "Please, miss, save my husband. I trust you."

Her gaze at Ye Yuvyuv was filled with unwavering trust.

After all, she had no other choice.

But deep down, Mo Jiuniang felt an inexplicable trust in the young woman before her, despite her cold and indifferent demeanor.

A voice inside her urged, "Trust this young woman. She will save your husband. If she says he's not dead, then he's not. If there's hope, why not try? Even if he can't be saved, it's better than not trying at all. If the treatment fails, she won't blame the young woman. She'll just follow her husband, not letting him journey alone."

Seeing Mo Jiuniang's unwavering trust, Ye Yuvyuv's cold expression softened slightly.

She thought to herself, "I was right about her. Even though she's just an ordinary woman, she has a determination and courage that most people lack. It was worth having her step in."

Ye Yuvyuv didn't hesitate. She reached out, pinched the tightly closed jaw of the corpse with a deft touch, pried it open, and tossed the poison pill inside.

"Water!"

Ye Yuvyuv tossed the tweezers aside and glanced at Huangfu Sinan, who stood beside her like some kind of mythical guardian.

Huangfu Sinan chuckled. This little firecracker had turned him, a distinguished forensic science professor, into her assistant, and she did it so naturally.

He didn't say much, just turned to get the water, asking, "Warm or cold?"

Ye Yuvyuv smirked, "I need it ice-cold."

"Ice-cold?" Huangfu Sinan paused, turning to look at her.

"Yes, ice-cold. You heard right. This poison can't dissolve in warm water before it enters the body. Cold water isn't quite enough. If there's ice water, that's best." Ye Yuvyuv's expression was serious; she wasn't just making things up.

The nature of the poison was different from regular medicine used for healing. It needed to be taken with ice water for its full potency to be unleashed.

She wasn't exaggerating. When it came to poison, her words carried weight. Otherwise, in a past life, even enemy nations wouldn't have dubbed her the "Twisted Poison Queen."
