C28 He Threw It into the Cage and Fed It to the Lion!

Yuvyuv snapped the whip one last time, shaking her slightly sore hand, and grinned at Henry. "Really want to know?"

Tears streamed down Henry's face as he quickly nodded.

"Hmm, what to do, I don't feel like telling you," Yuvyuv said with a wicked smile.

Henry felt like he was being toyed with by the girl in front of him, almost wishing he could disappear. This wasn't just a mischievous angel; she was a little witch, a little devil. An evil little devil.

As Henry endured the whipping, he racked his brain over and over, trying to recall any memory of provoking this little devil, but he came up blank. He was certain he hadn't even met this wicked girl before today.

Besides, she was so pretty. He always had a soft spot for beauty and would rather protect than harm her.

Seeing Henry's pitiful expression pleading for mercy, a hint of satisfaction flashed across Yuvyuv's face. She sighed and said, "Oh, what should I do? I'm usually kind-hearted and soft-hearted. Seeing you so pitiful—"

Her big eyes sparkled with mischief as she smiled and said, "If you call me 'Little Madam' whenever you see me in town, no matter the occasion or place, and greet me respectfully, then we can call it even. How about that?"

"Little Madam!" Henry shouted immediately.

The way he said it sent shivers down Yuvyuv's spine.

"Call me 'Madam,'" Yuvyuv said, rubbing her ear, not entirely satisfied.

"Madam!" Henry complied without hesitation, following the little devil's instructions. He just wanted to appease her and get her to leave quickly; he had no desire to endure another unexpected whipping.

“Hey, my dear grandson.” Yuvyuv beamed with a radiant smile.

Henry’s blue eyes widened, his heart nearly skipping a beat. He silently admired, “She’s truly beautiful, like a fairy from a mythical tale.”

Yuvyuv climbed out the window.

Before jumping down, she turned with a stunning smile and kindly gave Henry a heads-up to avoid trouble.

A minute later.

A graceful figure deftly scaled the wall.

“Yuvyuv!”

Thud.

Yuvyuv’s foot twisted, nearly causing her to fall.

Her back tingled with a sudden chill. She stood frozen for two seconds, then quickly glanced back before making a run for it.

“Yuvyuv, if you dare run off, I’ll tell Dad you snuck out to the dance hall in broad daylight to meet some guy,” Zijun’s voice echoed from behind.

Yuvyuv stopped in her tracks.

Turning around, her delicate face flashed a mix of annoyance and amusement. “Zijun, do you even know what you’re talking about?”

Zijun rolled his eyes at her, striding confidently to stand before Yuvyuv.

Though only nine, he was already almost five feet tall, reaching up to Yuvyuv’s shoulder, who stood at five foot six.

He tugged at the whip in her hand, frowning, “Yuvyuv, are you causing trouble with this again?”

Looking at the little figure acting all grown-up, Yuvyuv felt a genuine headache coming on.

In the Ye family, she usually did as she pleased with little interference.

But Zijun seemed like he was born to keep her in check, never clinging to anyone else in the family, always following her around, minding her business.

Considering past events, Yuvyuv couldn’t bring herself to treat him like the other children born to the Ye family’s various aunts.

"Xiaoqi, aren't you overstepping a bit?" Yuvyuv shot him a glare, raising an eyebrow. "Don't question me first. Let me ask you—did you skip class today?"

Ha! Catching Xiaoqi in the act put Yuvyuv in an unexpectedly good mood, even better than when she gave that spoiled brat a piece of her mind.

Unfortunately, Zijun's face remained stern as he stared at Yuvyuv, speaking with righteous conviction. "I skipped class to stop you from causing trouble. Even if I tell Dad, he won't blame me."

Suddenly, he frowned, glanced at the back of the dance hall, and reached out to grab Yuvyuv's hand with a serious expression. "Don't just stand here. Let's go."

Yuvyuv was momentarily stunned. When she tried to pull her hand away, she realized this little rascal was surprisingly strong for a nine-year-old. She couldn't free herself despite several attempts.

She couldn't help but wonder, "Has this kid been training or something? But he's only nine. How's that possible?"

Suppressing her doubts, Yuvyuv knew they couldn't stay there any longer. They had just stirred up trouble, and being chased down wouldn't be good.

Even though she had tied up that spoiled brat and gagged him, it was better to be safe than sorry.

The siblings hurriedly left.

Ten minutes later.

Inside the main hall of the Night Paris Dance Hall.

A manager, covered in blood, was being brutally whipped by a black-clad bodyguard. His entire body was a mess of blood and torn flesh, and he kept begging for mercy.

On a lounge chair, Henry lay sprawled, his pale face filled with malice as he glared at the unconscious manager, waving a hand.

With a splash, a bucket of cold water was dumped on the manager.

The manager jolted awake from the cold, quickly prostrating himself on the ground, pleading, "Master, please spare me! I truly don't know what I did wrong. Please, have mercy!"

"Ha, you don't know? Keep whipping him, beat him within an inch of his life," Henry shouted in fury.

Henry's emotions were so intense that the Western doctor applying medicine to his wounds accidentally pressed down on a whip mark, causing Henry to let out a yelp of pain.

Just then, a subordinate rushed in to report something to the butler. The butler, dressed in black, quickly approached Henry and respectfully said, "Sir, the person got away. We couldn't catch them."

"Idiots! Who told you to catch them? I wanted you to find out who they are!" Henry shouted angrily upon realizing the butler misunderstood his orders.

He glared coldly at the small-time manager from the underground market, who had been knocked out again, and barked, "Wake him up with cold water. If he doesn't tell the truth, throw him into the lion's cage."

"Yes, sir," the black-clad butler immediately complied.

Henry lay on the bench, groaning in pain, his blue eyes flashing with an unusual excitement as the image of a stunning young woman kept appearing in his mind. "So beautiful, a wicked little witch," he murmured dreamily.

The black-clad manager nearby frowned slightly, sensing something was off with Henry today. Despite the intrusion and the beating, Henry didn't order them to capture the intruder but instead wanted to investigate who she was.

Soon, the battered manager was revived with cold water and, after a few more lashes, finally confessed in fear about a shady deal that had taken place three days ago in the underground market.

The manager was quickly taken away.

The black-clad butler approached Henry again. "Sir, we can't keep this manager around. He needs to be dealt with immediately."

"Tony, what do you mean?" Although Henry was known for his privileged lifestyle, he still had a sense of caution.
