C6 This Time He Had Caused a Huge Disaster He Had to be Locked Up!

Yuvyuv kicked open the door to the VIP cabin with urgency, causing it to swing slightly on its hinges. She paused, staring at the empty space before her.

No one? How could that be? Where's my sister?

"Sis!" Yuvyuv snapped back to reality. She rushed inside, her eyes quickly scanning the relatively small VIP cabin. Aside from a plush sleeper sofa and a dining cart in the corner, there was no sign of anyone.

Turning around, her gaze fixed on something, her body froze—a vintage rotary phone. It was an oddity, sitting quietly and conspicuously in the train car. The phone looked almost new, at least 90% pristine. It shouldn't have been there.

Without a phone line, how could it connect a call? It was clearly meant to mock anyone desperate enough to reach for it in a crisis, grasping at straws.

Ha, ha.

Yuvyuv stared at the antique phone, feeling it was like a clown waiting to see her fail, indifferent to her plight. It was a cruel reminder of what happened here twenty years ago—the bloodshed, the brutality.

No!

She grabbed the phone and smashed it to the ground. Her lips, tinged with purple, parted in determination, "No one is taking my sister from me. No one."

She turned swiftly, her mind racing. Her sister wasn't in the cabin? Why not? Her eyes flicked to the window, the night still pitch black outside, and her heart skipped a beat.

Could it be?

A thought struck her, and her face went pale with anxiety. "The timing is wrong. It's not time yet. They haven't made their move!"

Her sister must be in the regular cabin now.

"Who's there? What are you doing?" A flashlight beam cut through the darkness as a man in a conductor's uniform approached quickly.

Yuvyuv squinted her eyes, raising a hand to shield them from the light. In that brief moment, she caught a clear glimpse of the train officer's face under the beam of his flashlight. His expression was strange.

Her heightened sense of alertness, honed over the years, kicked in immediately. Without a second thought, she lunged sideways.

A sharp "clang!" echoed as the knife tip scraped against the metal door of the train car. The flashlight went out.

The corridor plunged into darkness, and a cool, calm female voice floated through the air, "Tell me, which car is my sister in? If you don't want to die too quickly, you'd better start talking."

"Miss, I don't understand what you're saying. I'm just the officer on duty for this train tonight. Please, put the knife down. Hurting someone will land you in jail."

In the darkness, the man pretending to be a train officer reached nervously for the sharp blade at his throat, as if frightened. But the eyes hidden in the shadows betrayed a viciousness only a criminal could possess. His hand moved toward the blade with a suspicious intent.

"Don't move. Trying to play games with me? You're asking for it," Yuvyuv warned, gripping the knife tightly. As the thug attempted to grab it, she swiftly countered with a slash.

"Ah!" The thug's scream pierced the corridor. "You little witch, I'll kill you!"

"Too bad I don't have time to play with you. Get in there," she retorted.

With a swift kick, Yuvyuv sent the thug stumbling into the train car and locked the door behind him.

Inside the car, the screams rose from sharp to low, eventually turning into whimpering pleas for mercy. No one knew what transpired within.

When the door finally opened, a pale-faced young woman emerged, tossing a bloodied handkerchief to the floor. She quickly dashed toward the rear cars.

The man who had posed as the train officer, in reality a criminal, lay dead.

A few minutes later.

The sound of gunfire from the rear car sent the entire train into chaos. Screams, cries for help, and the noise of people fleeing filled the air, creating a cacophony of panic.

Outside the chaotic train, not far away, Yuvyuv reached out to protect the woman in front of her. Just like in her past memories, the woman was wearing a pristine white dress embroidered with lotus flowers, trembling with fear. In the light of the rising sun, the dress appeared so white and clean that it eased the tension Yuvyuv had been holding onto.

"Don't worry, everything's okay now," Yuvyuv said softly, noticing the woman still shaking uncontrollably. She gently patted her back, trying to comfort her sister, who had never experienced anything so terrifying.

Smack! A hand landed sharply on Yuvyuv's back.

Soon, her sister's trembling voice, filled with tears, reached her ears, "You reckless girl, what did you just do? You killed someone, do you even realize that? This is serious trouble, you could end up in jail."
