C61 Meeting the Second Rich Generation Again!

Leaving the boutique, Yuvyuv had no idea what had just transpired. Merly had recommended her sister's songs to many, but they didn't appreciate her sweet voice, finding it lacking in passion. The guests at the dance hall were even less interested, seeking something more thrilling.

Merly felt sad for her sister, believing people simply didn't understand the charm of her voice. That was until today, when a girl who seemed like a beautiful fairy appeared. As soon as she spoke, she recognized the song playing in the store as one of her sister's and even knew her sister's name.

Merly was thrilled. She felt incredibly lucky to meet someone who appreciated her sister's voice as much as she did. This enchanting girl, before leaving, gave Merly another surprise by guessing that Sharil was her sister and complimenting her for being a good sister.

Merly stood there, her face glowing with a silly, excited smile, unable to snap out of her joy until a customer's voice called from downstairs. The poor French woman finally came to her senses and hurried down to attend to the guests.

Yuvyuv, with Xiaoju in tow, left the boutique and headed to a nearby coffee shop. This place was an old establishment known for its authentic coffee, brewed from high-quality beans, offering a rich and aromatic experience that lingered pleasantly.

Yuvyuv ordered two of the shop's signature coffees and found a seat by the window with Xiaoju.

"Miss, do I have to drink that black stuff too? It looks so unappetizing, like some kind of herbal medicine," Xiaoju remarked, eyeing the dark liquid in front of the other patrons with curiosity and a hint of apprehension.

The young lady had just ordered two cups, clearly one for her, but Xiaoju was hesitant to drink. She didn’t want to upset her mistress, so she glanced cautiously at her.

"Ha, what a low-class thing. That's coffee, not some herbal medicine. Why not call it bitter gourd?" A sharp, mocking voice suddenly rang out behind Ye Yuvyuv and her servant.

Soon, there were a few low chuckles from the surrounding crowd. Ye Yuvyuv didn’t need to turn around to know who it was. It was Su Xiaozi, the eldest daughter of the Su family, whom she had whipped a few days ago. A foolish woman with no sense.

Ye Yuvyuv didn’t want to engage with her, treating the noise behind her like an annoying dog barking, pretending not to hear it.

Xiaoju, however, turned pale with fear, her round eyes timidly looking at the Su family’s eldest daughter behind her mistress. She recognized her from the New Year’s banquet when the Su family’s lady had visited the Ye family.

Xiaoju felt she had embarrassed her mistress, her face turning white as she struggled to hold back tears, not wanting to bring more shame.

"Xiaoju, when you hear barking, don’t let yourself be scared by an unruly street dog. Just ignore it; after all, it’s just a noisy... well, nothing more."

Ye Yuvyuv was about to say "dog" at the end, but she reconsidered, deciding not to be too sarcastic and leaving a bit of dignity for the foolish woman behind her.

"You, Ye Yuvyuv, you brat, who are you calling a dog?" The woman behind them, dressed in a fiery red dress with a fine fur coat, her lips painted a bold red, slammed her hand on the table in front of Ye Yuvyuv, her anger evident.

The table shook with the impact, and Xiaoju was so startled she nearly jumped to her feet.

Ye Yuvyuv remained calm and composed, glancing sideways at the person who had rushed up to her—Su Xiaozi, the eldest daughter of the Su family, who had been foolish in her previous life.

With a raised eyebrow, she spoke indifferently, "Excuse me, Miss Su, are we that close?"

Su Xiaozi's face, which was quite pretty, twisted with anger. She was waiting for Ye Yuvyuv to answer her earlier question, not expecting her to change the subject.

Ha, she dares to insult but won't admit it.

Su Xiaozi had always disliked this girl. Not only was she prettier and sharper-tongued, but the main reason for her disdain was that this girl had the audacity to like the man she had her eyes on.

He was her ideal, her dream guy.

Thinking of this, Su Xiaozi looked at Ye Yuvyuv with eyes full of jealousy, wishing she could tear apart that enviable face. "Ye Yuvyuv, don't play dumb. Tell me, who did you just call a dog?"

"Ha, Miss Su, did you leave your ears or your brain at home today?" Ye Yuvyuv pointed to her head with a slender finger.

Seeing Su Xiaozi's momentary confusion, Ye Yuvyuv kindly reminded her, "If you had your ears, how could you mistake 'hound' for 'dog'? If you had your brain, why would you be so eager to confirm if someone called you a dog?"

Ye Yuvyuv was too lazy to deal with Su Xiaozi, who was arrogant, easily provoked, and not very bright.

Seeing this fool reminded her of her own past mistakes.

"Ye—Yuv—yuv!"

It took Su Xiaozi a moment to realize, amidst the laughter of onlookers, that she had been played. Furious, she raised her hand, ready to strike at Ye Yuvyuv.

Yuvyuv's eyes flashed with a cold light. Ignoring this fool was one thing, but if he was asking for trouble, that was another matter entirely. Her fingers twitched slightly.

Suddenly, a man's voice rang out sharply, "Stop! You foolish woman, what do you think you're doing? Don't you dare harm my little angel!"

Bang! A tall man, lacking any gentlemanly grace, shoved Su Xiaozi aside as she tried to raise her hand against Yuvyuv. His imposing figure stood protectively in front of her. His face was flushed with anger, and his deep blue eyes glared fiercely at Su Xiaozi, who was wincing in pain after hitting the corner of the table.

His blue eyes were filled with disdain as he pointed an accusing finger. "You foolish, ugly, and malicious woman, what do you intend to do to my angel?"

"Pfft!" Yuvyuv couldn't help but chuckle softly. She was amused by the French trust fund kid in front of her, who had just used the words foolish, ugly, and malicious.

It was impressive how this French trust fund kid knew quite a few words from her native language. Yes, the man who had suddenly charged in like a bear to stand in front of her was none other than Henry Louis, the same guy she had taught a lesson to not long ago. He was a descendant of French nobility.

The Louis surname was indeed one reserved for those with royal blood in France. According to Yuvyuv's past life memories, if she remembered correctly, this trust fund kid's grandfather was a highly influential old count in France.
