C78 Little Yuvyuv's Address

Henry's commanding presence was impossible to ignore. Yuvyuv immediately became alert, her eyes locking onto the person she had dismissed as a spoiled rich kid, a "little dog cub" who hadn't yet grown up. She began to question the true nature of this so-called heir.

"Oh, my little angel, are you gazing at me so intently because you're falling for me?" Henry's face suddenly loomed closer, interrupting Yuvyuv's suspicions.

Startled, Yuvyuv instinctively slapped away the face that had gotten too close. She found Henry grinning like a fool, still embodying that spoiled rich kid persona. She wondered if she had imagined the aura of authority she thought she saw in him moments ago.

"Bad little angel, that really hurt," Henry pouted, covering his face where she'd slapped him, his big puppy eyes fixed on her like a dog abandoned by its owner.

Yuvyuv mentally chastised herself, "I must have been seeing things to think this fool had any sort of commanding presence." This guy was just a clueless, immature pup.

Taking a deep breath, Yuvyuv realized that if she stayed around this French heir any longer, she'd either end up hitting him or losing her mind. She needed to get straight to the point.

Looking at Henry, she blurted out, "I need you to lend me a few people who know the local scene and can get information. I need to dig up someone's background, as detailed as possible."

After a moment's thought, Yuvyuv realized she couldn't just ask for help without offering something in return, even if Henry seemed like an easy mark. It felt wrong to take advantage of someone so naive, someone who was like an innocent little puppy.

Henry confidently spoke up, "Don't worry, I won't use your people for nothing. Once it's done, I'll reward your team handsomely."

Ye Yuvyuv raised an eyebrow, waiting for Henry's response.

Unexpectedly, Henry blurted out, "Is it a guy or a girl?"

Up front, Tom, the assistant, was leisurely steering the car around the city. Hearing his boss's words, he nearly choked on his own spit.

Tom thought, is the boss actually serious about Miss Yuvyuv? He's even asking about gender!

"Hmm? Does it matter if it's a guy or a girl?" Ye Yuvyuv snapped, giving Henry an impatient glare. She turned away and demanded, "Stop the car, I want to get out."

Tom was startled. Wow, Miss Yuvyuv has quite the temper. If the boss is really serious about her—oh boy, his future looks bleak.

Look, the boss just casually asked if it was a guy or a girl, and Miss Yuvyuv couldn't even be bothered to answer him.

"Wait, my little angel!" Henry grabbed the car door handle, his tall frame exuding a strong scent of French cologne that hit Ye Yuvyuv's nose.

Ye Yuvyuv couldn't stand the overpowering cologne and sneezed several times in a row.

Ignoring the urge to pull her back into the car, she waved her hand at Henry's towering figure. "Move over, your cologne is way too strong. Are you trying to suffocate me?"

"Oh, sorry, next time I'll choose a different scent," Henry quickly retreated, thoughtfully sitting further away and rolling down the window. Concerned, he asked, "Are you okay? I'm sorry, I didn't know you didn't like this cologne."

"Ugh, what a waste of my time. Hurry up, I need to get out. I have important things to do," Ye Yuvyuv said, uninterested in dealing with Henry, as she reached for the car door.

Henry panicked, "Wait, I promise I won't ask if it's a guy or a girl. Just tell me the name of the person you want to investigate, and I'll make sure my team looks into it thoroughly."

Henry noticed Yuvyuv was still reaching for the car door and quickly said, "I don't want your money. I'm volunteering to help you investigate."

"Hmm?"

Yuvyuv paused, her hand on the door handle, her large eyes blinking rapidly as she calculated something in her mind. Soon, a sly, triumphant look flashed across her face. But when she turned around, her expression was serious as she stared at Henry. "Are you serious?"

Tom couldn't hold back a cough, choking on his own saliva. Henry shot him a warning glance. Tom shivered, quickly settled into the driver's seat, and didn't dare look back, fearing the consequences if he did.

"Absolutely. You're my little angel. Whatever you want to do, I'll support you unconditionally," Henry said with a smile so wide it seemed like flowers could bloom on his face, instantly transforming into a picture of obedience.

If Yuvyuv hadn't seen Henry's typical rich-kid grin, she might have thought he was confessing his love. But coming from this rich kid, she didn't take it seriously. She just thought he was wealthy and overly generous.

Well, she wouldn't admit it, but she had inherited her dad's frugal nature. After all, saving a penny is still saving.

"Alright then, consider it a favor I owe you," Yuvyuv said after a moment of thought, deciding not to be too hard on him and generously offering a favor in return. She wasn't just saying it lightly.

Considering the dramatic events involving this rich kid in the past, which had shaken the entire city and even caught the attention of many important figures, Yuvyuv thought she was being quite generous. If she were to think about it, this young rich kid was actually getting a great deal. Her favor might just help him avoid a major disaster.

"I asked you to look into someone for me. His name is Wen Shixing, and he's currently a vocal teacher at an elite girls' school." Ye Yuvyuv's expression turned unusually serious as she stared at Henry, her voice carrying a hint of coldness.

Tom, who was driving, couldn't help but shiver.

Henry, upon hearing this, lowered his gaze and furrowed his brows, his expression uncertain.

"What, do you know him?" Ye Yuvyuv kept her eyes fixed on Henry, suspicion creeping into her mind, her face tense.

"Yuvyuv, you mentioned this person, his name is Wen..." Henry lifted his blue eyes to look at Ye Yuvyuv, his voice trailing off.

"Wen Shixing. On the surface, his records show he studied in France..." Ye Yuvyuv thought for a moment, then revealed Wen Shixing's apparent false identity.

Unexpectedly, as soon as she mentioned France, Henry's eyes widened. "You said he studied in France!" He hesitated, then looked at Ye Yuvyuv and suddenly smiled. "Yuvyuv, I think I might actually know this person."

Ye Yuvyuv's eyelid twitched at his words. "Are you serious?"

She was so taken aback by what Henry said that she didn't notice he had switched from calling her "little angel" to the more familiar "Yuvyuv."
