C80 A Beautiful Caucasian Waitress!

Yuvyuv was in a good mood and casually joked, "Even the waiters here are so handsome. The steak must be amazing."

The waiter flashed a bright smile. "Thank you for the compliment, ma'am. I assure you, our chef won't disappoint. He's an Italian chef with exceptional skills."

The waiter was a smart and charming guy, skillfully promoting the chef's talents while chatting. Yuvyuv thought he was an excellent server, not only articulate but also great at bringing in business. If she were the restaurant owner, she’d definitely give him a raise.

Thinking this, she looked at the waiter with a radiant smile, her face as beautiful as a blooming rose. She smiled warmly, "I'll have a well-done steak, please, and a glass of lime juice, made from fresh limes, not sweet ones."

Turning her head, she remembered Henry and asked with a slight nod, "What about you, Henry? How do you like your steak?"

It was then that Yuvyuv noticed Henry didn’t look too happy. No, he looked downright upset. Raising an eyebrow, she asked, "Henry, are you upset?"

Henry, being French, had a naturally fair complexion, but at that moment, his face was pale, and his demeanor was as stormy as a thundercloud. He suddenly glared coldly at the waiter, his blue eyes icy, and snapped, "Rare!"

Yuvyuv was about to ask Henry what was wrong, but his request for "rare" made her blink in surprise. Swallowing, she looked at him like he was crazy. "Are you planning to eat it practically raw?"

The quick-witted waiter glanced at Henry, who was staring daggers at him, then back at the lovely lady.

Henry quickly realized that the gentleman might be jealous of the conversation he was having with the lady. He immediately toned down his smile and kindly suggested to Henry, "Sir, are you sure you want your steak rare? You might prefer it medium rare."

"No need, I want it rare. What, didn't you just praise your chef for being excellent? Can't they handle a simple rare steak?"

Henry glared at the waiter and suddenly slammed the table. "If such a simple thing can't be done, why is this restaurant even open? Just shut it down."

The waiter was startled.

Yuvyuv was also taken aback by Henry's sudden outburst, but she thought he was just acting like a child. After all, wasn't this guy just a spoiled brat, still wet behind the ears?

Yuvyuv had her own way of dealing with tantrums. She scoffed, "Go ahead, smash something, let me see. If you dare, I'll give you a good smack. Believe it or not?"

The waiter was no longer calm.

He had thought the hot-tempered, jealous gentleman would be difficult to handle. But it turned out the lady was the real force to be reckoned with. Look at that—just a moment ago, the man seemed ready to explode, but after the lady's shout, he turned into a docile puppy, almost like a child seeking comfort.

The waiter had encountered many types of customers in his time, but none quite like these two. They were truly a surprise.

Being a patient and attentive server, he gently tried to mediate between them. He asked again if they were sure about ordering the steak rare and well-done.

These two guests have completely opposite tastes. Since the restaurant opened, no one has ever ordered a steak "well-done"—the kind that's so cooked it's tough to chew. Yet, the irritable male guest ordered his steak "rare."

Whew! The waiter, feeling a bit of nervous sweat on his forehead, thought these two guests might be hard to please. However, he firmly believed in the motto "the customer is always right." He was determined to be an excellent waiter, capable of satisfying guests of all temperaments. No matter how difficult or demanding a guest might be, his guiding principle was always customer satisfaction.

"Sir, Miss, are you sure about your orders?" the waiter asked carefully once more. Only after seeing them nod did he smile and walk away.

"When the steak arrives, you should eat over there," Yuvyuv said, pushing Henry away. Just moments ago, Henry had been as feisty as a little mad dog, but now he was acting like a puppy, trying to cozy up to her. She disdainfully nudged him away with her foot, pointing to an empty table across the room.

"Yuvyuv, are you avoiding dining with me? That would make me sad," Henry said, blinking his pretty blue eyes, looking like a puppy seeking affection.

Yuvyuv felt the urge to hit something. She raised her hand but remembered that Henry had just helped her dig up some dirt on Wen Shixing. It seemed ungrateful to turn on him so quickly. After taking a deep breath to calm herself, she pointed to the table across from them and said as evenly as possible, "That table looks better, and you look great too. It suits you."

"Really, Yuvyuv?" Henry's eyes widened with delight.

"Really, really, it couldn't be more true."

Yuvyuv suddenly discovered how to handle this clingy little pup and said with a smile, "And you know, when you sit at that table, all I have to do is look up to see your incredibly handsome face. With a good-looking guy across from me, my meal just gets so much better."

As soon as Yuvyuv finished speaking, the person in front of her vanished in a flash. When she looked again, there was that silly grin on Henry's face, sitting at the table she had pointed to, excitedly waving at her.

He was saying, "Hey Yuvyuv, I'm over here! Do I look even more handsome now? Do you like it?"

Yuvyuv thought, "..."

Oh, so this guy really loves being told he's good-looking and handsome. No wonder he threw a fit earlier when I complimented that waiter. He was jealous of the waiter's looks!

Wow!

Yuvyuv suddenly felt like she was dealing with a little puppy, and it was both amusing and a bit overwhelming. She realized this little pup's biggest joy was being praised. It was like taking a puppy out for a walk, just for fun, and seeing how much it loved the attention.
