"Meow." Lu Xiaoxiao always felt something was disturbing its sweet dreams, wanting to resist but drifting back to sleep.

"Heh." Cang Xu chuckled at the adorable sight of the little furball. In that moment, his face softened, shedding the mask he usually wore. How long could these carefree days last?

The sky had darkened, and the frogs in the pond were still croaking. What once seemed annoying now felt soothing. Cang Xu blew out the candle and fell into a deep sleep, holding Lu Xiaoxiao close.

The morning arrived without sunshine, the air thick and stifling. Ever since arriving in this time and place, Lu Xiaoxiao had been waking up unusually early. Groggily opening its eyes, it noticed the sky outside was still dark. Unsure of the time, it decided to catch a few more winks.

Turning over, Lu Xiaoxiao suddenly realized this wasn't its own bed. It snapped its eyes open, only to see Cang Xu with his shirt slightly open.

Whoa!!! Those muscles!! How are they so well-defined? Is this guy trying to tempt me? This is a crime, Lu Xiaoxiao! Wait a minute, did I spend the night with him? Did I... lose my innocence?!

Startled, Lu Xiaoxiao leapt up on the bed, finally wide awake and fully aware that it was just a cat.

"What are you doing?" Cang Xu murmured, resting his head on his arm, looking at Lu Xiaoxiao through sleepy eyes.

"Meow, meow~" Lu Xiaoxiao sat on the bed, feeling embarrassed and reflecting on its overactive imagination.

Cang Xu thought Lu Xiaoxiao was startled by something again. He pulled Lu Xiaoxiao close, gently stroking it. "I'm here, don't worry." With his eyes closed, Cang Xu patted Lu Xiaoxiao's back rhythmically, like lulling a child to sleep. "Rest easy, it's still early."

Being a cat sure has its perks. A handsome guy by your side, no worries about anything, just living carefree and happy. It's truly a life to enjoy.

Sometimes, Lu Xiaoxiao would reminisce about life in another time. Though the past wasn't as convenient as the present, it was more interesting. Days without a phone weren't boring, and there was always someone to dote on you. Sure, there were occasional teasing moments, but life was pretty joyful.

Lounging on Cang Xu's arm, lost in thought, Lu Xiaoxiao drifted back to sleep, feeling incredibly safe by his side.

When Lu Xiaoxiao woke again, it was already noon. Cang Xu was nowhere to be seen, and the sky outside was still overcast, making Lu Xiaoxiao feel like its fur was damp.

A rumble from its stomach reminded Lu Xiaoxiao of its hunger. It realized it had been eating all day long, and if no one played with it, it would just eat and then fall back asleep.

"Oh, you're finally awake, little one," Yue'er said, placing a freshly washed bowl on the shelf before picking up Lu Xiaoxiao.

"Meow~" Lu Xiaoxiao licked its paws repeatedly. The weather was uncomfortable, but despite wanting to escape Yue'er's embrace, it found itself fond of her. Oh well, let her cuddle me; I'm generous like that.

"Hungry, aren't you?" Yue'er held Lu Xiaoxiao, playfully rubbing its soft paw pads against her cheek.

"Meow~" Starving! I'm starving!

"Hehe, I'll get something ready for you right away. Hang tight!" Yue'er placed Lu Xiaoxiao back on the bed, giving its head a gentle pat with affection.

No matter the time, humans are always captivated by cats, thought Lu Xiaoxiao. Maybe it's because I'm just so lovable that everyone adores me. Feeling quite pleased with herself, Lu Xiaoxiao was lost in her own thoughts when Luna brought in a few maids who began setting dishes on the table one by one.

Looking at the table full of food, Lu Xiaoxiao couldn't help but feel a bit troubled—she was going to gain weight again!

"Don't you like it?" Luna asked nervously, watching Lu Xiaoxiao's lackluster expression. She was really worried about a repeat of last time when the little one got picky and caused a scene.

"Meow~" Lu Xiaoxiao jumped off the bed, took a few steps, and then leaped onto the table, stopping by Luna's hand.

"Meow~ Meow~" She squinted her eyes and rubbed her fluffy little head against Luna. How could she not like it? She was just worried she wouldn't become a glamorous cat. With this round figure, she'd have to stick with the cute look!
