C17 martial arts contest

Just as Xing Tong was sleeping soundly, Li Yu pulled him out from under the bed and lifted him by the ear.

Li Yu said in a displeased tone: "You, the martial arts competition is starting today, you are still sleeping, quickly get up!", Xing Tong cried out in pain, and quickly got up from the bed.

He felt that this little brother was becoming more and more like his mother.

After washing up, the two of them ate some food and rushed to contest ground.

He saw that there were already many students surrounding the outer area of contest ground, calling out their favorite participants one by one. It was extremely lively.

When he rushed to the inner court, he saw that a huge piece of contest ground was divided into four, with a judge on each piece, and around the contest ground sat the participating students of the Four Great Academies.

Looking towards the center of the arena, he saw four old men blowing their beard and glaring at each other. Xing Tong recognized one of them, he was the Principal of the Jia Lin Academy, Gai Lun.

Gai Lun seemed to have suffered a loss in terms of verbal battle. As he walked towards his own array, he scolded non-stop: "Pah, a few old bastards, you dare bully my academy. If it wasn't for my precious Beastmaster Realm students being transferred to the border, let's see how I would take care of you all, pah pah pah"

Just as he was cursing, he raised his head and saw Xing Tong and Li Yu looking at him, Gai Lun's previous anger was replaced with a smile, and he immediately went forward to welcome them and pat them: "Good boy, you actually hid your true strength, Xing Ba came yesterday to write a letter, and you were able to take care of even the early stage Beastmaster Jiang Buliu, this time we have hope of winning, ai, good grandson, you do not know, I was ridiculed to death by those few old men, I am just an old man, it doesn't matter, even though they did not look at my academy's students, my grandfather's heart is bitter."

After he finished speaking, Gai Lun actually wiped away his tears. Seeing that the Principal was going to use his trump card, Xing Tong felt helpless in his heart, and quickly said: "Um, Principal's Grandfather, don't worry, I will use all of my strength to fight."

Gai Lun was overjoyed, and laughed: "Good boy, I knew you would not disappoint me."

Gai Lun glanced at Li Yu, and said sound transmission: "Little girl, you deliberately made me a joke, you better perform well in a while, or else, when I'm old and have a loose mouth, maybe I will reveal your true identity."

Li Yu's face reddened, and she waved her fist at Gai Lun, who laughed out loud before quickly walking towards the square formation of the Jia Lin Academy.

Li Yu looked at Xing Tong, and laughed: "Let's go, you said that you would do your best, in a while don't disappoint us, my Lord Leader."

Xing Tong looked at Li Yu's extremely beautiful face, wished that he could pinch Li Yu's hand, and laughed: "My housekeeper, little brother, I promise I won't disappoint you." With that, he pulled Li Yu's small hand and walked towards his home's square formation.

Li Yu's face turned red, she hesitated for a moment, then allowed Xing Tong to pull her. She felt a sweetness in her heart, but when she thought of a matter, her eyes dimmed.

With that, Ba Desi who was dressed in black robes slowly walked towards the center of the contest ground.

Ba Desi cupped his hands towards the various forces and then said loudly: "Now, I will announce that the Four Great Demonic Cultivator Academy's martial arts contest s will officially begin, and next, I will explain the competition rules. The competition rules will continue with the elimination system, and each academy will now have five contestants, one for Beastmaster Realm, two for Genuine Force and one for Grand Perfection. Each competition will have two contestants from each school, and the two with the highest scores will be ranked in the finals of the two academies, each match must not exceed two hours, and cannot be matched up with any contestants, if not, it will be deemed as a violation of the rules, and we will immediately revoke the competition."

A teacher from Jia Lin Academy rushed to the stage with a square box in his hands. Very quickly, the results of the lots were announced.

Xing Tong looked at the four people behind him. Other than the wind element Lao Lunsi, the other three people all knew each other.

Yi Xiu took the lead and said: "Xing Tong, the first match will be a battle between the initial mastery stage participants, I will be going up now." followed suit, "Leader, Yi Xiu and I will be going".

Yi Xiu nodded and walked towards the contest ground. Lao Lunsi followed closely behind, the two of them respectively ascended two contest ground s, and the Golden Lion Academy already had two participants waiting for them on the stage. The other two contest ground s and the Aryan Academy participants were also standing still.

Seeing that everyone was present, the four judges announced the start of the competition.

Yi Xiu cupped his fist at his opponent first and said, "Jia Lin, the Fire Elemental Beginning Mastery Stage contestant from Jia Lin Academy. Yi Xiu, Intrinsic Beast s are at the seventh step, Scarlet Fire Lion.

That young man from the Golden Lion Academy quickly returned the gesture, "Brother, you're being too polite. Golden Lion Academy's fire element has just reached large success stage contestant, Ka Luo, Intrinsic Beast is a sixth stage Ardent Flames Golden Pig. Please show mercy."

After speaking, Yi Xiu and Ka Luo summoned their respective Intrinsic Beast s, only to see Yi Xiu donned a dark red armor, his chest had a pair of huge lion eyes, his lower abdomen had a lion's jaw wide open, and was biting onto a scarlet belt, holding onto a scarlet red colored staff that was a meter long, at the tip of the staff a fire red gem was flickering with a light of red light, and within it, a lion covered in blazing flames was baring its fangs and brandishing its, roaring repeatedly, it's momentum was astonishing.

Ka Luo's appearance was inferior to Yi Xiu's. Although he was also dressed in a scarlet red armor representing his attributes, the armor did not have any special accessories. Both of his hands were holding a huge set of fangs, which were flickering with red light.

Outside of the arena, Toffy, Zha Ke and a group of people led a bunch of cheers and bellowed: "Yi Xiu will win, Yi Xiu will win!".

Yi Xiu shouted: "Brother Ka Luo, be careful!" With the staff in hand, he waved it consecutively, causing the air to tremble. A dozen fireballs around a meter in diameter appeared out of thin air and smashed towards Ka Luo.

Ka Luo immediately waved his fangs, a fiery red barrier instantly appeared above his head, and after blocking a few fireballs, the barrier suddenly dimmed, as though it was collapsing. Ka Luo clenched his teeth, and with the fangs in his hands, the barrier became even brighter, and finally blocked all the incoming fireballs.

A few more fire pillars instantly rose from the ground beside Ka Luo. Ka Luo immediately leaped up, the fangs in his hands continuously waved, and a few fire blades condensed and spun, striking towards Yi Xiu. Although Yi Xiu's actual combat experience and Intrinsic Beast's were higher than the other party's, he was born with fire attribute resistance, so for a moment, the two of them were evenly matched.

After a while, Yi Xiu finally found an opening to knock Ka Luo down.

Ka Luo stood up and cupped his fists: "Brother Yi Xiu is truly skilled, I admit defeat", Yi Xiu immediately cupped his fists and replied: "Brother Ka Luo is too courteous, I was merely lucky to win, Brother Ka Luo has let me win."

Seeing that the victor was already decided, the referee hurriedly shouted, "Jia Lin Academy has won, gather one point!", causing the students of Jia Lin Academy to cheer.

At this time, the other participants had already determined the victor. Lao Lunsi had barely won, Jia Lin Academy had scored two points, while Dilo and Aryan had scored one point each.

Yi Xiu patted Xing Tong's shoulder and laughed: "Xing Tong, we have already accumulated two points, looks like we have a chance of entering the finals." Lao Lunsi was exceptionally excited, and said: "That's right, when we were drawing lots to go up to the world above, we met with the Dilo, but we did not expect that we would be eliminated by them. This time, we can at least enter the finals."

Xing Tong laughed, then looked at Li Yu and said: "Li Yu, the rest is up to you and Ai Lisi, you must be careful in fighting."

Li Yu looked at Ai Lisi with disdain: "Hmph, as long as someone doesn't drag you down." She doesn't have any good impression of Ai Lisi.

Ai Lisi immediately looked at him angrily and sneered: "Hmph, even if I have to drag you down, it won't drag a sissy like you down."

Li Yu was furious. In the Empire of the Dragon, no one who saw her and did not have the guts to joke around with her, and after coming out, from the moment they met the pirates, to the moment they came to the Jia Lin Academy, they had been humiliated several times. When they thought about it till here, their eyes were filled with tears and they looked like they were about to cry.

Seeing the situation, Xing Tong immediately rushed forward and pulled Li Yu's hand: "Good Li Yu, don't cry, Ai Lisi did not do it on purpose, don't be angry."

Li Yu suddenly flung Xing Tong's hands away, and said angrily: "You, you still dare speak up for her, who are you trying to help, go and find her if he's beautiful, don't talk to me, humph."

Xing Tong immediately felt a headache coming on. Towards Li Yu, he was extremely helpless, and could only smile: "About that, Li Yu, you are my good brother, of course I will help you, but, can", he looked at Ai Lisi, but did not dare argue back for a long time, afraid of angering Li Yu again.
