Chapter IV Acceptance

Shen Zechen had just left the police station. Because he had given his outer robes to Lu Feng, he wore a thin, peaked sweater and a scarf.

When they were passing by a street, Shen Zechen did not stop.

But Shen Zechen had only walked a few steps before returning.

He stopped and looked at the man who was shivering on the side of the road.

Lu Feng was still wearing the jacket that he had given to him, but at this moment, he was like an abandoned puppy lying on the side of the road, shivering and Shen Zechen couldn't help but to have a serious look in his eyes.

After a moment, he walked towards Lu Feng with the umbrella, and hid Lu Feng under the umbrella.

Lu Feng gritted his teeth as he fought, but suddenly he felt that something was amiss. Opening his eyes, he saw a pair of black leather shoes in front of him, Lu Feng blinked, then raised his head to look, only to see the tall and straight Shen Zechen standing right in front of him, holding onto an umbrella.

"Shen Zechen? Why are you here? "

Lu Feng hugged his body, raised his head and looked at Shen Zechen, and asked puzzledly, the scar at the corner of his eyebrows, was deeply imprinted into Shen Zechen's heart.

"I should be asking you that."

Shen Zechen looked down at Lu Feng, his eyebrows knitted tightly, "The snow is so heavy, why are you not coming home, what are you doing here?"

Shen Zechen was the kind of person who looked good to the eye, to the point where even frowning would not give others the slightest discomfort, thus, when Lu Feng saw Shen Zechen, his expression was a little stiff.

"I ?"

Lu Feng scratched his head and lowered his head. His eyes flickered, after holding in for a long while, he finally came up with a reason that could not get any worse, "I am just here to take a look at the snow. You know, there has never been snow this big in A city before."

Shen Zechen looked at Lu Feng's flickering eyes, sighed, fell silent for a moment, and said, "Tell me the truth."

Hearing this, Lu Feng was immediately defeated. He reached out and scratched his head, "If it wasn't for me, Shen Zechen, why are you like the worm in my stomach? Every single time, you would be able to tell that I'm lying?"

Lu Feng had thought that Shen Zechen's ability to see through his lies had disappeared after six years.

"Don't change the subject."

Shen Zechen's face was wooden as he stared at Lu Feng.

"Fine."

Lu Feng was a little scared from being stared at, he had no choice but to lower his head and spread out his hands, and said honestly, "I am currently penniless, homeless."

"How did this happen?"

Shen Zechen squinted.

"Why else? I'm in debt. "

Lu Feng said in an extremely casual tone, his expression was as if it was completely unrelated to him.

Shen Zechen looked at Lu Feng and took a deep breath. After a while, he extended his hand to Lu Feng and said indifferently, "Let's go."

Lu Feng looked at the white slender hand that was extended towards him, and was startled for a moment, then involuntarily reached out her hand, "Where to?"

Shen Zechen pulled Lu Feng up and said, "My house."

Hearing that, Lu Feng was stunned in place, "Go ? Go to your house? "

"Otherwise, do you want to freeze to death here?"

Shen Zechen walked a few steps, and turned to look at Lu Feng.

Lu Feng shook his head fiercely.

"I live alone. I have an empty room at home. If you don't mind, you can stay with me for a while."

Shen Zechen said indifferently.

"How could I mind!"

Lu Feng anxiously ran over to Shen Zechen, he looked at the proper looking Shen Zechen, and Lu Feng felt embarrassed: "Just, we are just high school classmates, are you really willing to let me go over to your place?"

A moment later, he raised his gaze, and those long eyelashes fluttered upwards. Then, he looked around him, took in a deep breath, and said, "Mn, the snow is getting heavier, so let's go back."

Lu Feng nodded, went into the umbrella and followed Shen Zechen.
