REPORTER: This year's Spring Festival Gala at many local TV stations has been centered around the Monkey King. Your performance has also received a lot of attention. How do you evaluate your performance?

6 toddlers: No matter which stage, as long as you invite me to perform on stage Sun Wukong, I will definitely give the best performance to the audience. The program of each party is not easy, the director has to weigh many factors, everybody has to understand each other. As long as my body allows it, I will always be on stage.

REPORTER: The story of Journey to the West has spawned many films and TV shows, but the quality is uneven. What do you think?

Six children: I am not against adaptation, remake, but adaptation cannot have no bottom line, especially in order to cater to the audience, the market, let Tang Monk and the monster fall in love, let Sun Wukong also have emotional drama, this is the desecration of the original. No matter how you change it, the spirit of the Western Traveling Culture can't change. If you want to film "Journey to the West" again, there are only eight words: "Be loyal to the original book, be careful about rewriting it."

REPORTER: "May I ask where the road is?" is a Sino-American co-production, and it has gathered all the stars of the old Western Traveling TV series, which is very much to be expected. I've heard that you've also invited actors from Japan and even India to join you. Why do you want to go international?

Six kids: Except for Yan Huaili, the veteran sage from Journey to the West, who died of illness in 2009, we all came back. We all want to do our best to put Journey to the West on the big screen. Tang xian West Day is originally a cultural exchange between China and Asian countries, I think it is good to use an international team to shoot such an international story.

Journalist: Americans have always been different in their understanding of Chinese culture. How can you guarantee the original charm of Chinese culture in this cooperation?

Six kids: When we were talking about cooperation, I already said that we shouldn't mess around with "Asking Where is the Road". We have to show the spirit of "Journey to the West", otherwise I won't act out.

Movie version doesn't need a heroine

REPORTER: One of the characteristics of Journey to the West is that it doesn't have a heroine, which doesn't quite fit the business model. How would "May I ask where the road is" deal with this problem?

Six small children: Since we are going to film the story of Journey to the West, we should recognize at the beginning of the project that "respect for the original is the first". Some movies can only be attracted to men's play, the key is to unearth the spiritual content of "Journey to the West", this is the key to the success of the movie.

Journalist: Taking lessons is a matter of ideal action, the protagonist certainly does not need love, so in the big film between master and disciple feelings will there be more depiction?

Six kids: Of course there is. For Master and disciple, there will be a more detailed and humane performance.
