C10 Your Body Is More Honest than Your Mouth!

Yung Mo approached Muh Jingyan, extending his long arms to envelop her in a warm embrace.

He gently pressed a kiss to her forehead, inhaling the pleasant, natural scent that clung to her—a stark contrast to the cloying perfumes of other women, a fragrance that stirred a sense of longing within him.

Their closeness didn't go unnoticed; many students passing by the school gates couldn't hide their surprise.

"Isn't that the Finance Department's Muh Jingyan? And who's that guy with her? He's incredibly handsome!"

"Who knows? Did you hear about the Su family's daughter? Her engagement to the Soong family heir was called off yesterday.

Rumor has it, Su Mo was caught in a compromising position with another man in the lounge during her engagement party. To think the seemingly pure and kind Su Mo could be so shameless!"

"Muh Jingyan isn't any better, if you ask me. She just ended things with Soong Xian and now she's already latched onto another man. She's clearly after his money!"

"I heard she was even thrown out of the Su family. Poor thing!"

The murmurs around him caused Yung Mo's expression to grow colder.

His icy gaze swept over the crowd, silencing the gossipers who quickly scattered in fear.

"Are you okay?" Yung Mo's voice was laced with concern as he looked down at her, a frown creasing his brow. He was worried the Su family debacle was causing her distress.

"I'm fine," Muh Jingyan insisted, gently extricating herself from his hold. Her brow furrowed, betraying her discomfort with the unfamiliar embrace.

"Have you had dinner? I know this unique countryside restaurant you'll love. You've never tried their dishes, I'm sure!" Before she could respond, Yung Mo ushered her into the car and fastened her seatbelt with careful hands.

The Maybach smoothly departed from the school entrance, cruising towards their destination.

Muh Jingyan watched the passing scenery, noting the dwindling traffic and increasingly secluded road with a furrowed brow. She turned to Yung Mo, who was focused on driving.

"Where are we headed?"

"Scared I might sell you off? Relax, I wouldn't dream of it," Yung Mo replied with a chuckle, finding her wariness somewhat endearing. "To enjoy the best of rural cuisine, the countryside is where we must go!"

Hearing this, Muh Jingyan's instinct was to distance herself from the man she deemed dangerous. "No need, I'm not interested in that sort of dining. Please, just let me out here."

Yung Mo's response was to press the accelerator, the car swerving with a screech before coming to a halt.

He faced her, his expression darkening at her icy demeanor. A flicker of annoyance passed through his deep, shadowed eyes.

He was irked by her lack of gratitude.

In a swift motion, he pulled her close, one hand securing her waist, the other cradling her head. He dipped down, capturing her lips in a fervent kiss.

They had been apart for merely a day, yet the sweetness of her lips was something he found himself yearning for. She was like a drug to him, and he was becoming hopelessly addicted.

Their passionate kiss was intense and possessive. His tongue boldly parted her lips, exploring every inch of her mouth with an insatiable hunger.

His embrace tightened around her, as if he couldn't get close enough.

Overwhelmed by the kiss, Muh Jingyan's senses swirled in disarray.

Her face, a vision of innocent allure, flushed with color, her eyes glazed over as she let out a soft moan—a sound that fueled Yung Mo's fervor, his breath hot against her skin.

But the moan snapped Muh Jingyan back to reality. She shoved Yung Mo away, unbuckling her seatbelt in a bid to escape.

The door wouldn't budge; Yung Mo had locked them in, determined not to let her flee.

Frustrated and angry, Muh Jingyan glared at him, her eyes icy, her lips shimmering from the kiss.

Her allure remained, and Yung Mo, seeing this, felt a surge of satisfaction.

"Your body tells a different story than your lips," he said after a moment, his voice light with amusement as he watched her simmer with indignation.

"I need to get back. My roommates are waiting," Muh Jingyan said coolly, wiping her mouth.

"We'll eat first. After dinner, I'll take you home. And from now on, you're not to ignore my calls or refuse me. Understood?" Yung Mo's voice held a note of command as he addressed her.

Muh Jingyan remained silent, her gaze fixed ahead, pointedly ignoring the man beside her.

"Muh Jingyan!" Yung Mo's voice hardened as he noted her dismissive attitude, his features clouding over with displeasure.

"I'm not going to be your woman, so just give up!" Muh Jingyan declared icily, her voice laced with a mix of frost and authority. "Open the door!"

Yung Mo couldn't help but laugh, though it was a laugh tinged with irritation. A menacing grin spread across his face as he complied and opened the car door.

Did she honestly think he had nothing better to do than to seek her out? Yung Mo's face darkened with a scowl.

As the car door swung open, Muh Jingyan didn't hesitate, even if it meant stepping out into the middle of nowhere. She exited the car without so much as a glance at Yung Mo and strode away with a cool confidence.

Watching her leave, Yung Mo's frustration boiled over, and he punched the steering wheel. His expression was thunderous as he floored the gas pedal and sped off.

Even as the car receded into the distance, Muh Jingyan stood her ground, utterly unfazed.

Yung Mo, though he had driven off, kept his gaze fixed on Muh Jingyan through the rearview mirror. Her indifference only fueled his anger. Yet, he couldn't stand the thought of her walking all the way back to school. With a low curse, he whipped the steering wheel around and drove back to where she stood. He barked at her with a cold command.

"Get in. I'm taking you back."

"No, thanks," Muh Jingyan said, sparing Yung Mo a brief glance.

"Unless you'd prefer I lift you into the car myself!" Yung Mo's already menacing look grew even more threatening as he stared her down.

With a dismissive twist of her mouth, Muh Jingyan climbed into the car. They drove on in silence, neither one uttering a word.
