C13 Beat Su Mo Up!

Leng Qianqian's face was swathed in white bandages, rendering her unable to speak. She glanced at Robert and Ouyang Shaoqing and gave them a friendly nod.

Robert and Ouyang Shaoqing returned her greeting warmly before Robert proceeded to examine her injuries. "Your wounds are looking good. Once the cuts on your face have healed, you'll be ready for skin graft surgery. Trust me, you're going to look even more beautiful than before!"

Hearing this, Muh Jingyan let out a sigh of relief. "That puts my mind at ease. I'm entrusting Qianqian's care to you."

Detecting her intention to depart, Robert quirked an eyebrow. "You're leaving?"

"Mumu, where are you headed?" Ouyang Shaoqing chimed in, concern lacing his voice.

"I'm off to Di City to take care of some unfinished business." Muh Jingyan was resolute. With Leng Qianqian's condition no longer a worry, it was time for her to set out. Three years had passed, and the moment for vengeance had arrived.

"Won't you drop by Anye? Everyone's been asking about you."

"I'll visit another time," Muh Jingyan replied coolly, her longing for those familiar faces evident, yet overshadowed by the urgency of her current mission.

Later that day, after leaving the hospital, Muh Jingyan learned that Su's Group was facing a financial crisis. Their stock prices had plummeted, and unrest was brewing at the company's doors, where even Su Bolen had sustained a head injury from the agitated crowd.

Back at school, Muh Jingyan withdrew from her classes and returned to her dorm to pack. Her phone buzzed incessantly in her pocket. "Okay, I'm on my way," she responded before donning a jacket and exiting the campus.

In an abandoned factory on the outskirts of B City, panicked screams echoed. "Back off! Do you have any idea who I am? I'm the Su family's young miss. Hurt me, and you'll regret it!"

"Oh, we're shaking in our boots," came a mocking retort, followed by lewd laughter.

"Please, just let me go. Whatever you want, it's yours," Su Mo pleaded, crawling backward in terror as the thugs leered at her menacingly.

"Still making demands? If we weren't so clever, we'd be dead by now!" They barked at her before slapping her hard across the face.

"Stop! Kill Muh Jingyan, and I'll pay you handsomely," Su Mo bargained, fear evident in her voice. "Please, just let me go."

The factory door flew open, revealing Muh Jingyan's aloof silhouette. She cast a derisive glance at Su Mo's pitiful form on the ground and curled her lips into a mocking sneer. "I never imagined my 'kind' sister would be so eager to see me dead. I'm not sure whether to be flattered or saddened."

Her voice, cold and chilling, cut through the air like a specter's whisper. Su Mo's cries grew louder in response.

"That's her! Kill her now, and I'll make you rich!" Su Mo's face twisted with malice upon seeing Muh Jingyan.

Muh Jingyan's icy smile flickered as she surveyed the trembling thugs, their eyes wide with dread. "Do it right, or you'll face the consequences," she warned them before striding toward the entrance.

"Muh Jingyan, you can't do this to me. Have you forgotten all that my family has done for you?" Su Mo's pleas turned to threats. "I hate you, Muh Jingyan, and I will never let this go!"

As Muh Jingyan walked away, the desperate cries behind her grew fainter. A chill passed through her gaze. She had no intention of being overly harsh with Su Mo, but enough was enough. If Su Mo couldn't grasp that, then Muh Jingyan would have to teach her a harsh lesson.

"Yell again, and I'll end you right here!" one of the thugs roared, silencing Su Mo instantly.

Su Mo watched Muh Jingyan's retreating figure, her heart pounding with fear at the sight of the greedy, grinning thugs around her.

The following morning, Muh Jingyan picked up some breakfast and visited the hospital to check on Leng Qianqian and the others. Thanks to Robert's expertise, Qianqian was healing swiftly. Muh Jingyan didn't linger after her visit, stepping out of the ward as her phone began to ring. Expecting news from the thugs, she was instead met with a deep voice on the other end of the line.
