C9 Beating and Scolding Were both Ways to Express Love!

"Go ahead, hit me. Whether you hit me, yell at me, or even kick me, it's all a sign of your love, right? If you're that into me, feel free to use your foot. What's it going to be? Hit, scold, or kick? Your choice!" Yung Mo's voice was deep, not a hint of fear, but rather a delighted curve to his lips.

Annoyed, Muh Jingyan found herself trapped in his domineering embrace, her only recourse to lift her foot and aim a sharp-heeled kick at Yung Mo.

With a slight sidestep, Yung Mo narrowly evaded the attack, capturing Muh Jingyan's foot. His tone was gentle, yet low, "Behave yourself. Those heels are high; you could sprain your ankle."

The magic in Yung Mo's resonant voice paused Muh Jingyan mid-thought, her gaze locking onto his as a peculiar notion crossed her mind. Was he showing concern for her well-being?

"I don't need your concern!" Muh Jingyan's face fell, her icy gaze devoid of emotion.

Yung Mo's expression darkened as Muh Jingyan once again decisively rejected his care, his grip on her waist tightening.

"No one rejects me. That includes you," he stated, his deep gaze turning stormy.

Muh Jingyan's eyes flashed with a sudden chill as she struggled to escape his hold. "Who do you think you are to me? I don't need your concern. Let go!"

Intent on fighting back, her eyes blazed with fury.

"You're a naughty woman, in need of discipline," Yung Mo's eyes sank into shadows, his grip fierce as he pulled her close.

Their faces pressed together, leaving no space between them. He restrained her completely, bending down to fiercely claim her defiant lips in a punishing kiss.

Caught off guard by Yung Mo's abrupt move, Muh Jingyan's eyes went wide with shock.

But as she remained unresponsive, Yung Mo grew more fervent, his lips insatiable upon hers, as if addicted to the taste.

The kiss ignited an immediate response in Yung Mo, his pupils dilating with darkened desire. It took moments before he released her, both gasping for air.

Muh Jingyan hadn't anticipated such a public display, her initial shock giving way to a frosty demeanor.

Their breath mingled, tickling each other's faces. Yung Mo, holding the soft Muh Jingyan, felt an intense thirst.

For thirty years he'd lived without a woman's touch, and now, after being with her, he craved her constantly.

Muh Jingyan was like a siren to him.

A mocking sneer crossed Muh Jingyan's eyes. Twice bitten, she had learned her lesson—love and men were the least trustworthy things in the world.

Forget Soong Xian, whom she'd accepted for the warmth he offered during her amnesia. And after Qin Yunkai's betrayal, her faith in love was shattered.

Once bitten, one fears the rope for a decade. Her past wounds from love had left her too scared to risk her heart again.

"I don't care about your motives or desires. I want nothing to do with you. Thanks, but goodbye."

Her expression turned colder as she snapped out of her daze, walking out of the hotel without a backward glance at Yung Mo.

Yung Mo watched Muh Jingyan's retreating figure, tasting the bitterness of loss for the second time. In Di City, women clamored for his attention, but Muh Jingyan was different.

She pushed him away, wanting distance. When had his influence waned so?

A flicker of disappointment crossed his mind as he watched her go, his eyes reflecting a complex storm of emotions. He began to plot how to win back the icy woman.

The next day, Yung Mo drove alone to A University's gates. He dialed the number he'd obtained from his research, and soon a cool voice answered, "Hello?"

"It's me. I'm outside your school. Come meet me," he demanded.

The line went dead. Yung Mo's brow creased, his eyes growing colder. He redialed, but this time, there was no answer.

Irritated, he pulled a cigarette from the car's console and lit it. The smoke swirled, obscuring his chiseled features.

Leaning back, he exuded an air of nonchalant elegance. After a few drags, he snuffed out the half-smoked cigarette and dialed the number once more.

He had almost given up, thinking the call would go unanswered, when she suddenly picked up. Yet, she remained silent.

"If you don't come out, I'm coming in after you. You know what I'm capable of!" His voice carried a hint of menace this time; he was certain she wouldn't stay hidden.

Again, she said nothing, and the line went dead. Yung Mo was undeterred, confident that she would emerge this time.

After a short wait, a slender figure appeared at the gates of A University. Her face, devoid of makeup, was naturally pure yet bewitching. Her long hair cascaded down her back, glossy as satin. Clad in a flowing black dress, she retained an undeniable allure. Watching her approach, Yung Mo felt an involuntary warmth spread through him.

Stepping out of the school, Muh Jingyan was met with the sight of a Maybach parked across from the entrance. Its understated presence still managed to draw the eyes of students nearby.

With a slight curl of her lips, Muh Jingyan's gaze swept over the man emerging from the vehicle. This time, he was alone, no bodyguards in tow. His tall frame moved with a steady grace towards her.

He was like a regal lion in repose, his presence effortlessly commanding and laid-back. His handsomeness was undeniable, radiating the aura of a sovereign.

A flicker of astonishment crossed the cool depths of Muh Jingyan's eyes. She couldn't deny it – this man had the kind of charm that could topple empires, the kind that made women flock to him with the slightest beckon.
