C2 MML 2

"Lily!" I called for Ate Anne's eldest daughter.

"Yes?" she replied.

"Is this all you're taking with you?" I asked, looking at her luggage.

"Yes. Mommy said I can buy other clothes in Boracay," she explained.

"Alright. I'll just check on Andrei and organize his things. I'll bring these," I motioned towards her luggage.

"Yes, sure. I think Mommy is already taking care of Andrei," she said.

"Oh? I'll go check on him as well, just in case." She nodded and continued scrolling on her phone.

Our flight was later in the day, so the house wasn't in a frenzy of activity just yet. Auntie Anne had decided to take a vacation because she couldn't handle the recent events at her company, which had been quite hectic. Her children were also upset because she didn't have much time for them. Usually, when she came home, they were already asleep. They only had the mornings to spend together before she had to leave for the office and they had to go to school.

I peeked into Andrei's room and smiled when I saw Auntie Anne looking my way. "Are you done packing your things?" she asked me.

"Yes, I am. Lily's things are also packed," I replied and went inside the room.

"That's great. I'll just organize Andrei's clothes and then take care of mine," she said.

"I can handle that, Auntie. I don't have much to do anyway," I replied.

"Why don't you prepare a snack, so we won't be too hungry when we leave?" she suggested.

"What kind of snack would you like?" I asked. "I'll prepare it."

"Anything. It would be nice if you made a bit extra so we can take it with us," she said.

"How about pizza, Mommy?" Andrei chimed in.

"Do you want pizza?" she asked her son.

"Yup," he replied.

"Alright," she said. "Don't bother cooking. We can just go through the drive-thru later," she told me.

"Okay," I agreed and sat on the bed to help her fold some clothes.

"What about Roy?" she asked again.

"I haven't seen him yet," I answered.

"Didn't you see him in the living room?"

"The last time I saw him was this morning when he asked for coffee."

"Is that so? Well, maybe he's in our room," she said with a shrug.

"Maybe," I said, and she fell silent after that.

We finished folding the clothes, and she left to attend to other matters while I went to load Lily's things into the van. After placing the items that weren't immediately needed in the back, I went back inside the maid's room to get my own bag. I and Roy both shocked when I opened the door, as he was heading towards the kitchen.

"Your eyes are so wide, huh? Did you see handsome?" he teasingly said, and flicked my forehead playfully.

"More like a ghost," I retorted, pushing him aside.

"You'll pay for that later!" he shouted as I started walking away from him.

"Ms. Ina, did you put my power bank in my bag?" Lily asked.

"Yes, I did. It should be in there. Just check," I replied as I glanced at her looking into her bag.

"It's not here," she said.

"Let me see," I offered, taking her bag from her.

We were in the car now, with the two kids sitting side by side in the backseat, and Kuya Jugs, the driver, and I in the front. I removed the items in her bag one by one and found her power bank. Just as I handed it to her, she handed me her bag. "Thank you!" she said.

As planned, we swung by a drive-thru to order pizza. Originally, it was supposed to be just pizza, but they ended up ordering more food than necessary. "Can we bring food on the airplane?" I asked.

"No," replied Auntie Anne.

"Oh my, what are we going to do? We have so much food," I said.

"Just eat what you can, and whatever we can't finish, we can give to Jugs," she suggested.

I nodded. That would work. The airport was a bit far from the house, but we arrived with plenty of time to spare before our flight. The kids were asleep, but we had to wake them when it was time to enter the terminal.

"So, Jugs, should we have someone look after the house?" Auntie asked, speaking to our driver.

"Yes, Ma'am. I'll take care of it."

"Alright, thank you. We'll only be gone for a few days and will return soon." That settled it, and we left for the airport.

As soon as we arrived, I quietly pushed the cart where the bags were placed. They insisted on bringing suitcases, saying that backpacks wouldn't suffice, claiming they couldn't carry them anywhere.

"Ouch!" I glared at Roy in annoyance as he pulled my hair.

"I'll do it," he insisted, and this time, he pushed me to the side to take the cart from me.

"What's going on?" Auntie Anne asked, turning her attention to us.

"Nothing," Roy replied.

"Stop annoying her, Roy. You'll really get on my nerves," she warned.

"I'm not doing anything," he smirked.

"Someone might get in trouble and guess it's not me," I teased him.

He just rolled his eyes at me and followed his wife, while I stayed close to them, matching their footsteps. During the journey, we were all equally quiet, except for Roy. He kept disturbing me because he had gotten enough sleep, and now I couldn't find any rest. Despite being repeatedly scolded by his wife, he couldn't stop himself. If it weren't for Auntie Anne, I would have choked him in frustration a long time ago.

I kept yawning as we finally arrived in Boracay. I wasn't in a good mood anymore.

"Ina looks sleepy," Mrs. Anne chuckled.

"Ah," I just said, pretending to laugh. I was really annoyed.

"The resort is nearby. Don't worry. You can rest as long as you want. After all, that's the purpose of being here," she reassured me. I nodded in agreement, my throat getting dry.

It was already night when we arrived, and the only source of light was the street lamps along the road. It didn't feel scary outside because there were people around. I helped carry the bags once we arrived, and I was amazed by the beauty of the interior. I was curious about how much Auntie Anne had paid because the unit was not only spacious but also stunning.

"Let's eat first," she suggested, and I sat down immediately.

She laughed when she saw her children looking exhausted as if they had been on a long journey.

"I was thinking of having a barbecue, but it seems like you don't want to go out," she chuckled.

"We're dead, Mommy," Lily said.

"Let's just have the food brought up here," Auntie Anne decided, getting nods from everyone, especially her youngest child.

"There are only two rooms here," Auntie Anne mentioned later.

We all exchanged glances as if counting each other. "I'll stay on the sofa then," I said when I saw that there were four of them.

"Okay," Ate Anne agreed. "Lily, just sleep beside Andrei," she instructed her daughter.

I just rolled my eyes at Roy when he looked at me teasingly. I excused myself to bring the bags inside, and when I came out, the food had arrived, so we started eating. We didn't have a chance to talk because we were all tired. They went to their rooms while I stayed on the sofa.

I was in the middle of arranging my blanket when I was startled by something thrown at me.

When will this guy stop?

I just glared at Roy and grabbed the blanket he had thrown at me, arranging it on the sofa.

"Are you going to sleep?" he asked.

"What do you think?" I asked sarcastically.

"Why are you so hot-headed," he laughed and sat on the sofa!

"Get out of there!" I push him away.

"Alright, I'll report you to Anne!" he threatened me when I was about to hit him with the blanket he threw at me earlier.

"Leave me alone. Come on," I said.

"I don't want to," he said.

I bit my bottom lip hard. Trying not to punch him, I might lose my job forever. I don't even know why out of the many men in the world, he is the one Auntie Anne chose to marry. A five-year-old thinking, immature, naughty, and most of all is that he is way too young for her! I pulled him straight but because he was stubborn I was not able to get him out.

"Roy," I called his name threateningly.

I was just like that when he just smirked at me. Teasing me more.

"Go to sleep. The vastness," he said while looking. He even backed off at the end as if to tell me to lie down and sleep while he was there.

"Go back to your room," I said. Feeling annoyed.

"And what if I don't want to?"

"You do not want?" I asked him and he shook his head while crossing his arms.

Needless to say, I pulled my bedclothes off the sofa forcefully, causing him to fall on the floor. He also quickly stood up from sitting there holding his butt. His eyes were too wide, probably in shock.

I quickly lay down on the sofa and then lie down on my back after giving him a teasing smile. I'm full of his attitude. He is worse than Andrei, Auntie Anne's youngest son! He is just so fucking annoying.

"Ouch!" I gasped when something hit my butt hard.

His eyebrows were raised while looking at me. "Fair enough," he said and turned away. "By the way, nice ass," I heard him whisper.

My lips pursed as my eyes I followed him as he headed back to their room.
