Several more days passed, and Auntie Anne and her children still hadn't returned. During this time, Roy and I found ourselves constantly seeking ways to pass the time.

We ventured out here and there, usually following Roy's lead on our excursions. He often emphasized how this was a unique opportunity for me, encouraging me to let him be part of my experiences.

As we drove
