C101 Five Consecutive Victories

"What's happening?"

"Why did he just plummet off the stage like that?"

"Do you think he threw the match on purpose?"

"No way, Xuanyuan Arena would never allow a rigged fight. We must've missed something."

The less skilled Martial Cultivators buzzed with speculation.

The more adept Martial Cultivators offered an explanation: "His movements were lightning-fast, knocking his opponent out in an instant. He's got the speed of a Three-star Human Rank Martial Cultivator."

"What? A Three-star Human Rank? He's not even fifteen, is he?"

"Looks like another young master from some noble family has shown up."

Elsewhere, a middle-aged man's face turned a sickly shade of green. "Why do we common-born Martial Cultivators have to struggle so hard just to reach the mid-stage of Human Rank, while these spoiled brats with their family's backing get there with ease?"

"I won't stand for this!"

The middle-aged man seethed with envy, his heart pounding with rage.

Before long, he concocted a sinister plan and made his exit.

"Hey, isn't that Fu Daniu from the Second Layer? What brings you down to the First Layer?"

The greeting came from the First Layer's twin brothers, Pann Wen and Pann Wu.

Fu Daniu grunted, "I have a job for you two. Are you in or out?"

Pann Wen's grin was devious. "You want us to take down some prodigies for you? I'm in. But this time, I want a hundred Medium-grade Lower-grade Spirit Stones as payment."

"That shouldn't be too hard for you, right?"

Fu Daniu was inwardly disgruntled, but a hundred Medium-grade Lower-grade Spirit Stones were a trifle to him, so he didn't object.

Pann Wu greedily counted the spirit stones before voicing his curiosity, "Fu Daniu, when will you get over your jealousy of these young talents with their prestigious backgrounds? The targets you're setting us on are becoming increasingly formidable. If not for Xuanyuan Arena's protection, we might have already faced their vengeance. What's the story with this latest target?"

Fu Daniu's response was icy, "Rest easy, he's not from Xuanyuan City. You won't have to deal with any fallout."

The Xuanyuan Arena is under the firm control of the three major families of Xuanyuan City. Should any outside force seek retribution, the families would never consent, as it would leave them in an awkward position.

Upon hearing this, Pann Wen and Pann Wu's anxiety was quelled. They exchanged a brief conversation and, with smug grins, made their way to the backstage exit of the arena.

In the arena, the referee announced loudly, "Han Feng is victorious in the first match. Up next, Han Feng will face..."

"Again with Han Feng. Is he really going to fight twice in one day?"

"What's the big deal? Han Feng is at the Three-star Human Rank. The next contender is merely a Two-star. He should handle it with ease."

True to form, Han Feng dispatched his second opponent with a single move, sending them soaring out of the arena.

"Han Feng triumphs in the second match. Coming up, Han Feng will battle..."

The crowd of Martial Cultivators buzzed with conversation.

"He's up against a Three-star Human Rank this time. It won't be so simple."

But the outcome was anything but simple. Han Feng's adversary was floored in just three moves.

The Martial Cultivators' perception of Han Feng began to shift. He was potentially one of the more formidable fighters at his level, capable of stringing together five, six, or even seven consecutive wins in the First Layer.

They dared not contemplate the implications further, knowing full well that anyone who could rack up eight or nine consecutive wins in the First Layer possessed the combat prowess of a Four-star Human Rank Martial Cultivator. They might not win, but they wouldn't be easily defeated either.

"Han Feng secures the third match. Next, he will face..."

The announcement sent a wave of excitement through the stands.

"Four consecutive matches. He's truly formidable."

"Hmph, after three consecutive wins, he's bound to lose the fourth," muttered a Martial Cultivator, green with envy.

"That remains to be seen. He's hardly expended any energy in the previous matches."

Backstage, Elder Zhang chuckled, "He wasn't just talking big. Perhaps he'll really achieve ten straight wins in two days and set a new record."

Meng glanced around, her eyes darting with curiosity. "I'm not sure which organization Mr. Han is affiliated with. If he keeps this up, he's bound to catch the attention of the three major families. I'm curious to see which one he'll align with."

Lin Qingshan beamed with pride.

In their latest exchange, after dozens of moves, Han Feng emerged slightly ahead, claiming victory.

Han Feng felt a deep sense of satisfaction. "Excellent. I won using just a basic technique. The concentration of True Qi in my body could likely rival that of a Four-star Human Rank at its peak."

"The fourth match goes to Han Feng. Up next, Han Feng will face Bo Lailie."

The Martial Cultivators in the stands were initially stunned by Han Feng's streak of five consecutive battles. Their surprise only grew when they learned of his upcoming fight with Bo Lailie.

"Han Feng is bold to take on five consecutive fights. If he secures all five victories, he'll definitely make a name for himself in the First Layer."

"Han Feng winning is out of the question. Bo Lailie is at the peak of the Three-star Human Rank, with a record of five straight wins. A Senior in the late Human Rank period suggested that Bo Lailie is likely to achieve six or even seven consecutive victories. Just how old is Han Feng?"

On the arena floor, Han Feng and Bo Lailie stood at a distance, facing each other.

"Please!"

"Please!"

Following their mutual bow, Bo Lailie's aura shifted dramatically in Han Feng's eyes.

Previously, Bo Lailie had the air of a suave young man, but now he seemed like a demon capable of devouring men whole.

A dense Killing Intent swirled around Bo Lailie, a clear sign of his extensive history with death.

Had Han Feng been coddled by his family all his life, he might have been shaking in his boots by now.

But that was far from the case.

The Killing Intent had no effect on Han Feng.

With a slight squint and a low shout, Han Feng unleashed the peak Three-star Human Rank True Qi, his own Killing Intent filling the air and sending a shiver through the audience.

From backstage, Old Man Zhang's eyes bulged in realization. "I was wrong about him. Han Feng has an extensive history with combat."

Han Feng may not have faced many life-and-death battles, but he was certainly no stranger to them, unlike some sheltered youths.

Bo Lailie's heart skipped a beat. "It seems my Killing Intent can't intimidate him. So..."

"Essence Killing Palm!"

He concentrated a dense Killing Intent into his palm, releasing it in a swift motion.

"Profound Flame Chain!"

Nine chains sliced through the air, shattering Bo Lailie's Essence Killing Palm in an instant.

Blood spurted from Bo Lailie's mouth as he was sent flying out of the arena.

The audience was dumbfounded.

Bo Lailie was significantly stronger than the previous Three-star Human Rank warrior, yet he proved to be no match for Han Feng. Defeated by a single move, he expelled a shocking amount of blood, faring worse than any of Han Feng's prior opponents.

"The fifth battle concludes with Han Feng as the victor. Congratulations to Mr. Han on achieving a streak of five consecutive wins!" The referee's voice rang out, charged with excitement.

Around the stands, a multitude of Martial Cultivators burst into applause.
