C22 Jade Peak Mountain Range

As dawn broke and the first rays of sunlight pierced through the window, Han Feng, seated cross-legged on his bed, slowly opened his eyes.

"My cultivation of Internal Strength has now successfully breached the second Main Bloodline, and it's stable. It's not something that can be easily detected by others."

"Indeed, my earlier decision was correct. If not, I'd only be at the early stages of opening the second Main Bloodline, far from achieving a stable state, and I certainly wouldn't have been able to sustain such swift progress."

"But now, the situation has changed."

"Time for the assembly has arrived. I'll have to wait until tonight to resume refining the remaining Lower-class Lower-grade Spirit Stones with a purity between five to seven percent."

Upon arriving at the Han family's training grounds, Han Feng found that Han Lin and the others were nearly all present.

Han Feng was taken aback and mumbled to himself, "Han Lin is usually the last to show up. He's early today. The lure of battling wild Devil Beasts must be strong for him."

Han Lin caught sight of Han Feng and greeted him with a cool nod, "You've arrived."

Caught off guard, Han Feng responded with a small smile, "Yes, I have."

The conversation lapsed into silence.

Typically, Han Lin would ignore Han Feng, and their interactions were sparse. Unsure of what to say, Han Feng inwardly sighed. Strength was indeed crucial. Despite Han Lin's usual disdain and disregard, once Han Feng demonstrated his power, Han Lin no longer ignored him and even initiated a greeting.

In a moment of candor, Han Lin advised, "With your cultivation at just one Main Bloodline, taking on a Level 2 Devil Beast will be challenging. Be cautious."

With that, Han Lin turned away to join Han Lieh, leaving no room for Han Feng to reply. Han Feng was surprised but felt a warmth inside. Despite their past differences, they were family, and in crucial times, support was a given.

Han Feng appreciated Han Lin's concern, but he kept to himself the fact that he wasn't intimidated.

After all, with his mastery of mortal fire, Han Feng might just have the means to take down a Level 3 Devil Beast.

The classification of Devil Beasts and Pills is quite similar, ranging from Level 1 to Level 12, followed by Earth-rank and Heaven-rank Devil Beasts.

Devil Beasts from Level 1 to 4 fall under the Mortal Rank, with Level 2 and 3 Devil Beasts specifically corresponding to the Middle Period of Mortal Rank.

Level 5 through 8 Devil Beasts are categorized as Human Rank.

Devil Beasts from Level 9 to 12 are classified under the Mystic Rank.

The Jade Peak Mountain Range, surrounding Renzhong City, is the lowest-ranked among the nearby mountain ranges. Over 60% of the Devil Beasts there range from Level 1 to 4. It's rare to encounter Devil Beasts above Level 4, and those that do appear are usually capped at Level 5 or 6, with no higher-level Devil Beasts present.

For someone of Instructor Lin's caliber, Devil Beasts of Level 6 and below are no threat. He could easily hold his own for a time against even the most formidable Level 6 Devil Beast, not to mention that he wasn't the only instructor venturing to the Jade Peak Mountain Range.

"Ha, you ten have done well, arriving so early. I'm truly pleased," Instructor Lin boomed with a hearty laugh. The group then noticed the three individuals accompanying him. Pointing to them, Instructor Lin introduced, "Allow me to introduce Instructors Han Yongxing, Lin Da, and Fann Lee."

The group's demeanor turned solemn at the introduction.

These three instructors' reputations were on par with, if not surpassing, that of Lin Yue.

Han Yongxing, the son of the Great Elder, is currently the strongest among the Han family's second generation. He has achieved a Six-star cultivation foundation within the Human Rank. Reliable sources suggest that within a year or two, Han Yongxing is likely to advance to the Seven-star level. This would add another late Human Rank powerhouse to the Han family ranks.

The late Human Rank should not be underestimated; there are fewer than ten experts at this level within the entire Han family. Even among the Elders, only a select few have reached the Six-star Human Rank.

Currently, the Han family boasts only one individual at the pinnacle of Human Rank—Family Head Han Yu, who has attained the Ten-star level.

Behind Han Yongxing stood Instructor Lin Da, the biological younger brother of Instructor Lin Yue. His cultivation foundation surpassed his brother's, reaching the early stages of a Five-star Human Rank.

At the very end was Fann Lee, who shared the same Four-star Human Rank as Lin Yue.

Guarded by these four mid-stage Human Rank powerhouses, even the most formidable rank 6 devil beasts of the Jade Peak Mountain Range would meet their end in bitter defeat.

Clearly, the Han family's leadership placed significant emphasis on the training of Han Lin and the other ten individuals.

Once Instructor Lin concluded his introductions, he turned to Han Yongxing. In this world where strength reigned supreme, Han Yongxing was the mightiest among them. Instinctively, Instructor Lin was prepared to follow his commands.

However, Han Yongxing gestured dismissively, "This time, you're in charge as the captain. Handle it as you see fit. I'm only here to lend a hand if any issues arise."

Lin Da chuckled, "Lord Han Yongxing speaks the truth. Go ahead and take the lead, brother."

Fann Lee simply shrugged, signaling his agreement.

Instructor Lin touched his nose and conceded, "Fine, then for the next ten days, you'll all follow my lead."

"Line up, lads. We're heading to the Jade Peak Mountain Range."

At that moment, Han Lin raised a question, "Instructor Lin, why haven't I seen Sister Rou and the others?"

Instructor Lin grinned mischievously, "Eager to team up with the beauty, are you? Forget it, they're training at a different location."

Han Lin's expression soured. That wasn't his intention; he simply wanted to measure up to Sister Rou.

As the sole bearer of Third-grade Aptitude in the Han family, Han Rou was the benchmark Han Lin aspired to reach.

Though Han Lin had unlocked four Main Bloodlines, Han Rou's aptitude exceeded his by two grades. She had also been cultivating for four to five months longer than Han Lin. By now, she had already unlocked six Main Bloodlines, and rumors were that her seventh was soon to follow.

The mention of Han Rou sparked a look of profound respect and admiration in the eyes of the other youths.

Her beauty and exceptional talent made her the undisputed idol of their young hearts.

"Han Rou? You're another goal of mine, and I'm confident it won't be long before I catch up with you," Han Feng whispered under his breath.

Instructor Lin gestured dismissively, "Enough, don't overthink it. Just follow me."

The fourteen-strong party promptly embarked on their journey, setting their sights on the Jade Peak Mountain Range!

At the base of the Jade Peak Mountain Range, Instructor Lin signaled for a halt and addressed the group with gravity, "Who among you is privy to detailed information about the Jade Peak Mountain Range?"

The young trainees exchanged glances, their daily regimen of training leaving little room for such knowledge.

With a menacing grin, Instructor Lin warned, "Pay close attention. What I'm about to share could very well determine your chances of survival."

"The Jade Peak Mountain Range is split into the outer and inner areas. In the outer area, you'll mostly encounter Devil Beasts ranging from Level 1 to 2, with Level 3 sightings being rare. However, venture into the inner area and you'll find it teeming with Level 3 and 4 Devil Beasts. And there's a real possibility of encountering beasts at Level 5 or even higher."
