C18 Recruitment Exquisite Fruit Appeared!

"You've been watching me from the start, haven't you?" Chu Yi's observation prompted the middle-aged man to chuckle. What began as a mild chuckle soon escalated into unrestrained laughter. "Impressive, very impressive!"

"A true genius with a natural gift for battle. Joining those fools from Adirang Academy has certainly paid off!" Talent for battle? It refers to those with a combat intuition far beyond that of ordinary cultivators. In the heat of battle, they often rely on this intuition. This intuition enables them to effortlessly evade enemy attacks and even strike at their opponent's weak points without realizing it! Such a talent is terrifying and highly coveted by all cultivators.

Does he possess this combat talent? Chu Yi pondered briefly before it dawned on him. It seemed there had been a misunderstanding. Chu Yi's combat skills didn't stem from any battle intuition; they were entirely reliant on his extraordinary primordial spirit! Of course, Chu Yi didn't offer any explanation and simply continued to watch the middle-aged man in silence.

After enjoying a hearty laugh, the man began to scrutinize Chu Yi with a serious gaze. He soon nodded in approval. "Feeling frustrated, are you? To possess such unparalleled talent and yet fail to pass a simple test?" "You're wondering why you—"

"Earth attribute genetic power," Chu Yi interjected calmly, stopping the middle-aged man, who was about to keep up the mystery, dead in his tracks. After a long, peculiar stare, the man chuckled and shook his head. "I didn't expect you to have already figured it out."

"Excellent, excellent indeed!" The more the middle-aged man looked at the stoic Chu Yi, the more he took a liking to him. However, he realized his previous tactics were no longer viable. It was time to be frank.

"Allow me to introduce myself. I am the vice principal of Zhonghua Martial Arts College, named Longdong. You've probably already guessed why I'm here." Zhonghua Martial Arts College? Chu Yi's brow furrowed slightly. He had heard of this institution before, but the details eluded him. Without hesitation, Chu Yi accessed his mobile device to look up more information.

Information about the Adirang Martial Arts College was readily available online, and it wasn't considered confidential. As Chu Yi delved deeper, his astonishment grew. This Adirang Martial Arts College was no ordinary institution!

It might not rank among the top three academies, but in terms of prowess, it was nearly on par with them. Its obscurity was due partly to its small size and partly to its singular focus on martial arts, which differed from the more comprehensive approach of the elite academies. Yet, in nurturing formidable talents, Adirang Martial Arts College was second to none compared to the top three.

Chu Yi hadn't anticipated that the unassuming middle-aged man before him could be the vice principal of such a prestigious college. But something seemed off. Would a vice principal really go out of his way to recruit in person, dressed so casually?

Remaining cautious, Chu Yi revisited the college's official website. After a short while, his brows knitted together. "Why isn't there a picture of you in the leadership section?" he asked. Surely, the vice principal would be featured on the homepage, but Chu Yi found no trace of him.

"That, well, I truly am the vice principal of the Adirang Martial Art College," the man insisted.

"Look here!" Longdong said, activating his personal device and projecting the image for Chu Yi to see.

This time, Chu Yi did indeed see Longdong's image. But upon closer inspection, his expression turned quizzical. "Adirang Martial Arts Professional College?" he mused, his mind swirling with questions.

"Cough, cough, yes, that's the one—the Adirang Martial Arts Professional College," Longdong confirmed, downplaying the term 'professional' as much as he could. But Chu Yi heard it loud and clear.

A professional college? Did they think Chu Yi was still a naive kid?

Noticing the shift in Chu Yi's demeanor, Longdong hastened to clarify, "Rest assured, our vocational college is a legitimate institution!"

Chu Yi, with a blank expression, inquired, "So, what kind of experts has your college produced?"

To gauge the strength of an academic institution, one must look beyond its reputation and consider the number of experts or eminent researchers it has produced.

Longdong was visibly uncomfortable, "You see, our academy is quite new, so we haven't had any graduates yet..."

Damn...

This wasn't just a knock-off of the Adirang Martial Arts College; it was downright destitute!

Chu Yi had already written off this so-called Adirang Martial Arts College in his mind.

Chu Yi's expression did not go unnoticed by Longdong, who was now genuinely worried.

"Listen, our profession is legitimate; we're an academy dedicated to the study of martial arts. It's just the name that's a bit misleading!"

"Furthermore, the teaching faculty at Adirang Martial Arts College is exceptionally strong..."

Chu Yi paused and gave Longdong a quizzical look.

Longdong initially looked puzzled, but then, as if realizing something, his face flushed.

"Just because I'm poor doesn't mean our academy is!"

Yet, Chu Yi remained skeptical.

As Chu Yi seemed poised to walk away from Adirang Martial Arts College for good, Longdong bit his lip in frustration and made up his mind.

"Wait!"

Chu Yi halted.

Despite the fact that the other was a formidable figure, this was Redmarsh, home to Seventeenth High School!

He doubted that anyone would dare cause trouble here.

"If you join our Adirang Martial Arts College, you'll receive this!"

Longdong produced a fruit from seemingly nowhere.

Initially, Chu Yi was indifferent—it was just a fruit, after all.

But upon closer inspection, something within him stirred.

He recognized it!

The Exquisite Fruit!

Containing his inner excitement, Chu Yi feigned disdain, "What's so special about a mere fruit? Do you think I can't afford one?"

Longdong looked at him oddly, "You're not familiar with the Exquisite Fruit?"

Chu Yi was taken aback.

In this world, the Exquisite Fruit was known as the Physical Fitness Fruit!

But...

Was the Physical Fitness Fruit renowned?

Regardless of its fame, Chu Yi had only been in this world for a few days; how could he be expected to know so much?

Chu Yi shook his head.

"No worries if you're not familiar with it. You can look it up. I have time to spare, so I can wait for you."

Once again, Chu Yi pulled out his device and began to search.

Physical Strength Fruit.

As soon as Chu Yi entered these three words, a flood of information appeared.

Most of it consisted of requests to purchase the Exquisite Fruit, while a minority pertained to auction details.

Catching sight of the price, Chu Yi's eyes narrowed.

Wow!

Chu Yi had anticipated that the Exquisite Fruit would hold considerable value in this world, but he hadn't expected it to be quite so exorbitant!

Eighteen million!
