After the recovering of the Spiritual Qi on Earth, due to the impact of a strange heavenly object that splitted Mount Kunlun, a new Martial Era begun: there was a war between humans and demonic Beasts, but in the end humans won, advancing martial and technology to the point of having many War God Level experts and making contact with other spatial civilitazion.
The power of every civilatization was based on technology, military weapons and cultivation, and even if Earth was at a low level of technology, there was a Saint level cultivator whose power was sufficient to protect the humans from alien invasion or war.
Chu Yi returned as a teenager in this world, after five thousands years of secret infiltration and cultivation in the Immortal Demon Temple…and now even if he had the same family and belongings, more technology had developed greatly and changed many things from his past.
Chu Yi was reinstated as a school student. During a visit by a school delegation from another civilization, Chu Yi was chosen for a challenge to represent his current school: feeling in difficulty for a direct fight, he chose to declare himself a liberal arts student, a sort of young researcher in technology and science: although initially showing ignorance but also arrogance for the task entrusted to him, he solved it in a brilliant way. All this was due to the work done during his stay in the demon world: Chu Yi had memorized all the books of the Immortal Demon Temple, although he had never tried to cultivate.
So, even if he was invited to join as a genius, he expressed his desire to become a cultivator…and in order to do this, first he had to awaken his Origin Power in his genes, through inner mighty or technology.
But for the moment he had to properly understand this new world: but he had an advantage, because he discovered that he could adapt his knowledge from the Demon World in order to cultivate and act.
