C4 The Title of the Chapter Shocked Everyone!

"I believe you!"

After catching Salin's meaningful look, Lee Guoqiang clenched his jaw, finally managing to forcefully utter those two words.

Chu Yi nodded with satisfaction and addressed Salin, "Teacher, I may not understand what Second Level Technology is, or the purpose of these devices, and I certainly can't make heads or tails of this so-called manual..."

"But none of that will stop me from firing up this gadget as you've instructed!"

Chu Yi swept a disdainful gaze over the bewildered carbon-based lifeforms, his eyes radiating the quintessential scorn of royalty.

"So, Principal, I have just one final question."

Lee Guoqiang, somewhat dazed, responded almost instinctively, "Go ahead."

Chu Yi's smile broadened. "Could you tell me, what exactly is an alpha particle?"

A hush fell over the room, so profound it was as if time itself had stopped.

"You don't know what an alpha particle is?"

The little girl stared at Chu Yi, her face a picture of curiosity.

"Of course not. Should a research reserve talent like myself really need to know about alpha particles?"

Chu Yi touched his face ruefully, sensing that something in the room had shifted.

At that moment, everyone was giving Chu Yi peculiar looks.

"How can you stand there so boldly, as a student of a Second Level Federation medium academy, when you don't even know what an alpha particle is?" the little girl asked, astounded by Chu Yi's audacity.

Humans, she thought, could be unbelievably shameless!

"Allow me to clarify," interjected the tall, blond gentleman, the only one among the handsome men who hadn't yet spoken.

"An alpha particle is the fundamental unit of psychic force. One alpha particle represents one-tenth of the baseline psychic force."

He demonstrated as he explained, lifting his arm and flicking it gently. A shimmering pinpoint of light materialized on his wrist.

"This represents the baseline psychic force."

"Of course, my psychic force at the green level is significantly more potent than the baseline."

"However, in terms of size, this is ten times that of a standard alpha particle."

Chu Yi observed the so-called psychic force and chuckled.

Suddenly, Comrade Guoqiang's slap cut through his amusement.

"Damn it, isn't this embarrassing enough for you?"

"Get out of here, now!"

After delivering his rebuke, Comrade Guoqiang turned to Salin once more. "Well, Teacher Salin, I think we'll wrap up our meeting here."

At the most recent meeting, Seventeenth High School was utterly defeated.

"Wait a second!"

"Just a moment, it's almost finished!"

At that instant, all eyes were drawn back to the scene.

They then witnessed Chu Yi, who had been knocked to the ground by a slap from Comrade Guoqiang, sprawled across the massive control panel, busily adjusting a myriad of devices.

"Okay, all set!"

Chu Yi dusted off his hands and stood up, beaming with satisfaction.

Ignoring the odd looks from those around him, Chu Yi confidently approached Comrade Guoqiang and announced, "Principal, I've completed it..."

Comrade Guoqiang couldn't help but feel his blood pressure rise as he looked at Chu Yi and his "creation."

What a mess!

How could his hard-earned reputation be destroyed because of this kid?

"If you manage to pull this off, then I, Lee Guoqiang, am a dog!"

Chu Yi could hear the strain in the shout and realized that Comrade Guoqiang had deeply misunderstood him.

So he turned to Salin and said, "Teacher Salin, it's ready for your review."

"Please, come take a look!"

Salin offered a serene smile and glanced at the previously mentioned blond gentleman. "Ling, why don't you give it a try?"

"He did put quite a bit of effort into setting this up..."

To them, it seemed Chu Yi had just haphazardly arranged the components.

But truth be told, at first glance, it looked pretty convincing!

The blond gentleman, Ling, nodded with a smile that enhanced his already striking features.

Approaching the compass, he conjured a faintly dark green light dot and pressed it onto the start button on the large console.

As the light dot merged with the red device, the whole panel shuddered slightly, and then...

Silence. There was no further activity.

It seemed it still wasn't working.

A collective sigh of disappointment rose from the crowd of Seventeenth High School students.

"Huh? What's not right?"

How could there be an error?

Chu Yi's brow furrowed as he quickly scanned the setup, confirming everything was in order.

Yet, there was no response.

Watching Ling revert to his unfazed demeanor, Chu Yi had an epiphany. "Ah, the issue isn't with my work; it's that your psychic force is simply too weak!"

Upon hearing those words, Spirit's brow furrowed in frustration.

Was this a blatant display of shamelessness?

At that moment, it wasn't just the five students from the Milan Institution who were appalled; many from Seventeenth High School were also at their breaking point.

"Chu Yi, stop making a fool of yourself!"

"Exactly, you've completely tarnished the reputation of Seventeenth High School!"

"Just leave already!"

"Get out now!"

Seventeenth High School might have been facing suppression, but it should never have come to this.

It was clear that the current situation was entirely Chu Yi's doing!

Chu Yi remained unfazed by his classmates' reactions, his gaze fixed intensely on Spirit.

"Yes, the problem lies with you."

"Yes, just increase your psychic force output. That should suffice."

Spirit regarded Chu Yi with an icy tone, "Are you finished yet?"

Chu Yi spread his hands, a picture of innocence, "I'm not to blame here. It's not my fault you're so weak that you can't even meet the lowest standard I've set!"

A flicker of rage passed through Spirit's icy eyes.

Weak?

Was he weak?

In the entire Gujita Federation, Spirit's renown was unquestionable!

Even though Divine Psychics emerged in Second Level civilizations, an eighteen-year-old intermediate Divine Psychic was considered a prodigy even in Fourth Level civilizations!

And yet, here in a mere First Level civilization, a nobody who likely didn't even understand what a Divine Psychic was, dared to call him weak!

"Fine, fine, fine. I'll try again, just as you've asked!"

"This time, I'm eager to see what excuses you'll come up with—"

But he couldn't finish his sentence, as Spirit was suddenly struck dumb.

In fact, it wasn't just Spirit; the entire auditorium, save for Chu Yi, was in a state of shock.

They gazed, dumbfounded, at the black warrior that had materialized above the panel devices, seemingly having lost the power of speech...

"This, this, this..."

This was the pinnacle of Illusion Projection Technology!
