C4 Lone Wolf's Gambit

"I advise you to remain silent." Alfred mutters as they creep inside the hut. Everyone obeys, since they understand the purpose of the mission.

"We will reveal our plan to everyone only if you agree to be silent about it." Alfred announces and his fellows sigh responsively.

Kimberly with Charles nods affirmatively but George is indifferent about the condition - he remains quiet.

"Execute the plan quickly. Alpha Martin awaits us - the ceremonial wedding begins by 9:00AM. We shouldn't waste time." Kimberly tells Alfred.

"Nope. George hasn't agreed to be silent about it yet." Alfred notices.

Kimberly whispers into George's ears, "if you love your mate, pretend to agree. Just nod your head and waste no more time."

George obediently nods his head and Alfred smirks.

"Fine. First, we have to summon elves from our pack." Alfred starts to say as everyone remains quiet as they agreed.

"No one heard me? I mean from our very pack, we have to summon elves for their assistance. In this case, elves possess more powers than witches or wizards." He mentions.

"We heard you clearly." Charles mumbles but Kimberly sighs shakily.

"Do we have to follow you to your pack before the elves are summoned?" George questions, hands akimbo.

"It's voluntary. But, at this time we can't even summon the moon goddess and expect her to be in our midst suddenly. If we're lucky, she'd be here after three days." Alfred asserts. Charles purrs while Kimberly exhales sharply, her mind focused on the exact time for the wedding.

"Summon the elves quickly. We have no time to waste." She forcefully says.

"Sure!" Alfred lightly raises his voice in response. "But not without the strength we need to get to them. Get us edible food."

"W-What?" George forces a word.

Henry rages at him, "get us damn food!"

"Sure, I'd go get it." Kimberly sniffles as she resorts to this option. Charles holds her back as she proceeds out of the hut.

"I'll go instead." He mentions. "And I'll be right back." And he pecks her on her cheek.

After Charles moves a few inches away from the hut, Alfred proceeds to the doorsteps, and sniffs around, trying to detect if he is still around.

"He's gone. Execute the plan!" He signals to his fellow warriors as they switch into action.

George's heart starts to pound as he sees his suspicion come to reality. Kimberly remains seated, unperturbed. She is concerned about how safe Kellie is and how suddenly George starts to react.

The six warriors approach George and pulls him to the rear yard.

"Make it as quick as possible." He orders and they cuff his hands and legs. When Alfred enables his wolf's vision, he pictures Charles coming out from the pack, with a few lunch bags.

"Now! Move!" He orders and the warriors escape from the vicinity, alongside with George - they're not certain about where they're heading to. They are only following orders.

"Where should they go?" Kimberly questions, feeling concerned. She walks up to Charles, and beckons to him, "hey, come on, we gotta go."

Charles breathes shakily as he leads her back to the hut. He drops himself to the ground and exhales sharply.

"I tried my possible best not to be noticed by Martin." He narrates, and unwraps the food in the lunch bag. As he peers at Alfred who is now back inside the hut, he realizes other's absence.

"Where are others?" He asks, concernedly.

"They have marched towards the pack to summon the elves." He reports, trying hard not to have the conversation.

"Did George volunteer to follow your wolves?"

Alfred shrugs, and sighs, "let's put this behind us."

"I don't get this." Charles raises his voice and rises to his feet. Kimberly also looks concerned about it, as it looks unusual to them.

"Let's follow them behind. We must be in the pack together." Charles mentions.

"It's not safe out there. They'll be right back." Alfred retorts as Kimberly hiccups.

"One thing I'm certain about - George wouldn't volunteer to follow you behind." Charles says as he clears his throat. He shrugs his shoulders, as he reclines his back and starts to chug down juice and the other food stuff.

Warriors To Get The Elves

Austin, one of the warriors sent, deliberately hits George on his forehead, as they take him to the darkest side of the forest.

They drop him to the ground forcefully; he winces in pain as he lands with a loud thud. He holds onto a stuck stone, to maintain balance - prevent sliding.

"We are not leading you back to our pack, as you might think. All we require is your wolf's strength, that's the only way to get Kellie." Austin lectures.

George scoffs, "says who?"

"Being audacious as a runaway bastard." Douglas, one of the warriors, matches his back and kicks his jaw with his right foot. They're right in the twelfth wilderness, a place where the moon goddess appears more often.

"Summon the moon goddess. I want to know if she is responsible for requiring my wolf agility to get Kellie." He says, looking deep into their eyes. His wrists start to swell due to the tight cuffs. His wolf can surely help him break the cuff but he will be caught again before he escapes, unless he has a plan B.

Austin kneels, and speaks quickly, "moon goddess, from Festus, your servant Alpha, we're waiting for your response. Please say something." Then he says a few words in Greek & Latin as others watch him in astonishment.

Lightning suddenly strikes across the hill coupled with the rumbling of the thunder - then the moon goddess descends amidst them. All shut their eyes, not interested in being blind.

"My pleasure to meet you, Alpha George." She welcomes with a nice voice as George remains flat on the floor still. After all, he had been like that to the cruel warriors - so why shouldn't he be like that to his savior?

"What did you summon me for? How can I help you?" She genuinely asks, hoping for a quick response.

"Kellie..." He says as his voice breaks halfway. "...she flied to the wasteland."

Austin tries to speak instead, but the moon goddess restricts his speech.

She smiles, "you have to be there - only her mate can save her."

"Exactly what we want to convince him about." Austin says and his throat chokes. He remains shut afterwards.

"It's a blatant lie. They all require my wolf power to save Kellie and have her." George clarifies.

"Do not be scared - I will make it easier for you." She says as the whole place brightens more, indicating her departure.

"Help me!" George screams before she vanishes. As he keeps screaming, he unintentionally shifts into his wolf, as the chains fall free, swirling dust to the warriors, deteriorating their vision. He growls loudly as he jumps from the hill to the bare floor, in the first. Austin blocks other warriors from following after him. He rather suggests that they mind link Alfred to catch up with him.

Austin's eyes suddenly glow intensely as he moves around the hill, "hey Alfred, do you copy?"

Alfred returns a reply immediately, "yes, I copy. Is there any problem?"

"He escaped. Block him from returning to the London Pack." Austin reports.

"Damn! How could he? Did you summon the moon goddess?" Alfred barks at him.

"Yes, I think I recognize my mistake now." Austin retorts. "Let me send a fire message to Festus. When he responds, he will know about the recent updates."

"Do not try that now." Alfred commands.

"Sure, if you say so. What about Kellie's dad and mom? Are they bound or free?" Austin questions.

"They threatened to kill me if I didn't let them inform Martin about their lost daughter." Alfred mutters.

Austin sighs in disappointment, "we will be right there with you."

He disconnects from the mind link.

Other warriors walk up to him, questioning him annoyingly.

"What was the response? Did he seize George already? Did you advise to use wolfsbane injection?"

"One question at a go, please. Let's take to our heels. It's not safe here." Austin retorts.

"Where then should we go?"

"Return to, instead. The hut." Austin snaps.

They nod their heads instinctively and shift to their wolves as they dart into the forest, the blackness of the night, with top-notch speed.

"Alfred, we're right here." Austin struggles to say after they reach the hut - he and the other warriors.

Alfred walks up to them, "sure. Let's go take a look, it seems a wolf has been bribed to save her."

Five of the warriors speed to the spot where the fight took place and Kellie flied to the wasteland.

Austin and Alfred walk more slowly than others, to have some private discussion.

"What about George?" Austin asks.

"I totally forgot about him. But, we can track him." Alfred retorts.

"You forgot? Does a warrior forget important details so easily? We can't return to the pack without Kellie and we know only George can save her. Then, where's George?" Austin furiously questions.

Alfred clicks his tongue and remains quiet.

"What does that mean?" Austin rolls his eyes gently at him, asking.

"Leave me...alone." Alfred comes off sharply and walks out on him, running up to the scene where the other warriors are gathered, and exploring ideas.

"Better come over and let's rub minds or else, we might be ruined." Alfred encourages.

Austin hisses at the words but Alfred reveals his middle fingers to him.

Up to fifty warriors have been sent out of the pack to help Kellie. Alpha Martin of the London Pack with Luna Mirable, walks around the spot where the fight took place, trying to grasp an inkling from Kimberly's explanations about the ugly event.

Suddenly, a large wolf shows up, making the warriors shell shocked. Alpha Martin, Luna Mirabel, Charles and Kimberly, stare at the wolf at once. But instead of the wolf running back into the woods for safety, it rather wiggles its body and brings itself to flight, as it gently lands on the edge of the barrier between the pack and the wasteland.

One of the Alpha's closest wolf walks up to the Alpha to receive orders.

"Detect who the wolf is." Martin instructs. "And ensure no other warrior leaves the pack - they should be in the field."

He nods and scoots to the Alpha's quarters, "sure sir!"

Alfred, closer to Austin, whispers into his ears, "detect who the wolf is. Let's be sure if it wants Kellie for his personal gain or for our advantage."

But Kimberly furiously approaches Alfred, grabbing his shirt violently.

"What have you done to my daughter? What have you done to this wolf?" She struggles to keep her tone cool but it only becomes more aggressive.

Charles beckons to Martin for a quick talk while the wolf watches them painstakingly.

"What do we do? Whatcha think?" Charles quietly asks Martin.

"I told my Beta to detect the one behind this. Just keep your calm and your mate...tell her this too. Being angry at this, evidently, won't proffer a solution."

Charles feels embarrassed at the ugly demonstration of Kimberly's anger on Alfred but he shrugs his shoulders and cuddles Kimberly from behind.

"Keep your calm, Martin said." He whispers into her ears, pulling her in for a tight hug to distract her from Alfred and his wolves.

"We will ban them from our pack, is that fine?" He forces a smile, telling Kimberly. He points at Alfred and his wolves who are under a tree because of the intensity of the sun, to let her know who he's referring to.

The Alpha's Beta approaches now as Martin walks slowly towards him, expecting a message. The big wolf on the edge of the barrier, growls much loudly and shrieks alongside. Howling as much as it can, it blares this whole place with the noise.

Martin further asks his Beta, "who is the wolf?"

"The message from the moon goddess answers that question." He responds.
